Coming directly from the guys over at Fumot, they’ve sent us their latest disposable, the Fumot Altera 14K to put through its paces and review.
It’s always a pleasure getting our hands on their different vape devices as they certainly know how to deliver great performing pre-filled pods and disposables with incredible flavor, which we’ve continually found when reviewing all of their products.
The Fumot Altera 14K is a true Direct-to-Lung (DTL) device and as the name suggests is a 14,000 puff disposable with prefilled flavored e-liquid. It has variable airflow control, an On/Off button which doubles as an ECO/BOOST mode switch and a 1200mAh rechargeable battery, charged via a Type-C charging port on the bottom of the device.
Its shape is a large tubular design with a semi-opaque 22ml e-liquid reservoir, similar in appearance to the Fumot T9000 Pro Max we reviewed back in September 2025. A large multicolored display on one side of the Altera 14K includes an animated island scene image with ECO or BOOST mode selection and a dual 7-segment readout showing the remaining battery charge percentage.
The performance of the Altera 14K disposable really took us by surprise and honestly surpasses that of 95% of other devices we’ve ever reviewed. If flavor and vapor are your thing, then this one will blow your mind.
We were kindly sent 8 different flavors, from the 15 available, of the Fumot Altera 14K which came with a nicotine strength of 20mg/ml (2%) which we’ll cover in more detail further on in our review. As always this review is completely unbiased and my honest opinion based during my time using these devices.

Note: There’s no Type-C USB charging cable included with the device so you will need one to charge the device when the battery runs down.
Altera 14K – Packaging
The Fumot Altera 14K disposable comes in a lift to open top cardboard box measuring 140mm by 39mm by 39mm. The coloring of each box is color matched to the color/flavor of the device you’ve purchased.
On the front of the packaging is an embossed photo of the Altera 14K in the color of the included device. Above this photo is the branding “Altera 14K”and “14000 Puffs”, with the “Flavor Name” below the photo and the “Nicotine Strength” to the right of the photo. The bottom third of the box includes the standard nicotine warning.
The right side of the packaging details “Fumot”, “Movkin”, “safety warnings” and 6 boxed icons with the following information:

On the left side of the box again are the “Fumot” and “Movkin” logo’s with a scratch and check authentication sticker, a QR scan code and bar code.
The reverse of the packaging covers the Specification, Product Name, Ingredients, Dangers, Storage, Company Details, Safety Marks and the Standard Nicotine Warnings.
Fumot Altera 14K – Preparation
Inside the cardboard packaging is the Fumot Altera 14K disposable vape that’s sealed in a polythene sachet together with a user manual.
Once you tear open the sachet and remove the Altera 14K, there is a white silicone rubber plug inserted into the mouthpiece. Ensure you remove this plug before using the device.
On the bottom of the Altera 14K is a white sticker covering its base with the following details:
- Adjust the airflow
- 3 clicks button power On/Off
- 1 click button switch vape mode
Remove this sticker to reveal the On/Off button, DTL/MTL airflow lever and the USB-C charging port. Press the center On/Off button 3 times to turn the Altera 14K on and adjust the airflow lever to the middle position.
The display will illuminate showing a colored island image, the mode you’re in (ECO) and the percentage charge left remaining in the battery. There is no fire button as the Altera 14K is draw activated, therefore draw on the mouthpiece to vape.
On the display screen is a clear film protection sticker, it’s up to you whether you remove this now or at a later time but it will become messy during use.
Fumot Altera 14K Disposable Design and Appearance
Dimensions of the Fumot Altera 14K disposable measures 130mm tall by 34mm in diameter and weighs in at approximately 110grams. We believe it’s made out of polycarbonate due to its light weight but couldn’t find any information on line to say otherwise.
It’s a tubular pen style device with a colored high gloss shell and a black semi-opaque 22ml e-liquid integrated reservoir with a wide bore mouthpiece at the top of the device. One side of the Altera 14K encompasses a 40mm by 12mm display, concealed behind a smoked black screen with “Fumot” and “Movkin” printed above the display. The other side has the flavor name and the CE markings printed along its length.
The display screen illuminates when you turn the Altera 14K ON and when you draw on the mouthpiece and will remain illuminated for approximately 6 seconds. The information displayed is:
- Dual 7-segment display of the remaining battery charge percentage
- Mode: ECO or BOOST
- Graphical screen display of an island scene
At the base of the Fumot Altera 14K disposable is an recessed ON/OFF button, which also controls the mode of operation (ECO or BOOST), an airflow control slider that controls the tightness of the draw (DTL-MTL), together with a Type-C charging port (cable NOT included in the kit).
Although there are markings either side of the airflow slider (DTL and MTL), when the airflow is closed it’s impossible to draw. Open the airflow just off closed gives a warm sort of MTL draw but open the airflow fully and you have one of the best DTL draws I’ve come across.
The Fumot Altera 14K has a 14000 puff count and contains 22ml of e-liquid. The devices we received have a nicotine salts strength of 20mg (2%) but I’m guessing there will be different strengths available. There are a total of 15 different flavors to choose from, 8 of which we have here to review:

The 8 flavors we received to review we’ve highlighted with an asterisk (*) in the above list. Sadly we would of loved to have received more to try as they have some really tempting flavors. We’ve included a Flavor Profile section where we give a brief overview on the 8 flavors we tried.
Unfortunately we were not able to find out or obtain the output power of the Fumot Altera 14K in ECO and BOOST modes or the charging current. The internal rechargeable battery is 1200mAh and is charged using a Type-C charging cable (not supplied with the device) and will fully charge the battery in approximately 70 minutes. It DOES have pass-thru so you can vape while it’s being charged.
Fumot Altera 14K Disposable Performance
First Use
Simply take out of the packaging, remove the silicone mouthpiece plug and remove the sticker across the base of the device. Switch it ON (3 clicks of the button), adjust the airflow and vape. It’s as simple as that. The Fumot Altera 14K disposable comes pre-charged with a nominal charge so you’re good to vape straight away.
Airflow
The airflow is adjustable via a sliding lever on the base of the Fumot Altera 14K casing. MTL vaping is a little hit and miss (it’s more a RDL/DTL style) but open up the airflow and it gives a fantastic DTL draw. The slider is fairly restrictive but does occasionally move when being used.
Auto Draw
The draw is responsive and very smooth with no gurgling or spitting. Because it’s primarily a DTL draw and has lots of airflow intake, it is a little noisy. The auto draw worked every time but do bear in mind when the airflow is beyond half open you do have to draw on the mouthpiece quite a lot to activate it because of the airflow.
Flavor and Vapor
Of the 8 different flavors we tried (more on these in the flavor section), each flavor was authentic, pure and strong without being overpowering. Some were a little sweet but not enough to spoil the flavor. I was really pleased to find they weren’t overloaded with ice additive.
The amount of vapor is on another level, it’s insane! Open the airflow, take a reasonable draw and the room will be filled with thick vapor. Switch to BOOST mode and everything will disappear in front of your eyes! I’ve not experienced such dense vapor as this from a disposable before.
ECO and BOOST Mode
A single press of the ON/OFF button switches modes from ECO to BOOST and vice versa with each press of the button with the display highlighting which mode is selected. ECO mode produces a really good vape and I would be more than happy vaping in this mode all day long.
Switch to BOOST mode and the intensity of the vape increases and the vapor produced is off the charts.
Puff Count
Puff count is always difficult to verify and very subjective as it depends of the length and frequency of your draws (puffs). Experience in the past has shown that the majority of devices fall short of their stated puff count.
The Altera 14K is a little bit of an anomaly in that it’s a DTL draw. Puff count is normally gauged on a short 1 second draw but I found the vaping style (DTL) of these disposables warrants a much longer intense draw.
Battery Life
With the 1200mAh battery fully charged, I was achieving over 2 days of use on a single charge before the battery became discharged (0%). Again because of the vaping style, my puff count during a day reduced as every draw satisfied my cravings.
The intensity of the draw remained constant right up to the point the battery became discharged. On average I recharged the battery around 10 times during the life of the disposable with no issues at all. The battery didn’t fail or stop charging on any of the devices we had to review.

Overtime Protection
If your draw exceeds 10 seconds, the display will flash 5 times and you will no longer be able to vape until it has stopped flashing.
Does It Leak?
I’ve added this section because over the last couple of years or so we’ve received a few general comments about other disposables that people have had leak on them.
I can say while using and reviewing the Fumot Altera 14K disposables we received, they showed no signs of leaking.
Fumot Altera 14K Disposable Flavors
Fumot were kind enough to send us 8 different flavors out of the available 15 they do in the Altera 14K disposable range to try and as with all their devices they didn’t disappoint. As I mentioned earlier in this review, the flavors we tried were blended perfectly and weren’t overly sweet or loaded with ice additive.
We’ve given a brief description on the 8 different flavors we received and what our thoughts were against each flavor:
Blueberry Raspberry
A rich, slightly tart combination where the raspberry’s sharpness cuts through the blueberry’s deeper sweetness. A very faint coolness rounds off the overall refreshing blend of fruits. I would say the raspberry comes through that little bit stronger than the blueberry.
Cherry Fiesta
A bold, rich and intense red cherry flavor with a sweet ripe after-tone. A cool menthol note on the exhale is very subtle and provides a refreshing finish. I would describe it as a single authentic cherry flavor and didn’t detect any other flavors in the blend.
Gum Mint
Gum mint is exactly as you’d expect; a semi-sweet chewing gum vibe with a cool refreshing blast of mint. It’s neither spearmint nor peppermint but definitely minty and definitely enjoyable. Great for cleansing the taste-buds or as an all-day vape.
Lemon Mint
A perfect combination of sharp tangy citrus lemons with hints of spearmint, resulting in a clean crisp flavor. Definitely a refreshing vape and an ideal palette cleanser.
Mango Pineapple
A lovely topical blend of sweet ripe mangoes and sharp tangy pineapples with a hint of coolness thrown in for good measures. The stronger and more prominent of the two flavors is pineapple, especially on the lingering aftertaste.
Space Dream
This is one of those flavors that keeps you guessing. No matter how long I puzzle over what’s in it, I can’t put my finger on the flavor profile. All I can say it’s slightly sweet, slightly creamy and has a weird but enjoyable taste.
Strawberry Punch
A sweet fruity blend that’s predominately strawberry with the inclusion of a lesser flavored tropical mix (punch). A slight coolness adds to the refreshing tone and one that leaves you wanting more.
Summer Peach Ice
Sweet juicy ripe peaches with a very subtle minty refreshing kick. An authentic peach flavor and an enjoyable all day vape.
Flavor Summary
Of the 8 different flavors we tried, they all seemed very flavorsome and easily comparable and recognisable against the flavor name with the exception of Space Dream. I was really pleased to find none of the 8 we tried were overloaded with sweeteners but there is a very slight “Ice” additive to most of the flavors.
Fumot have done a great job in perfecting these flavors and I would be very happy vaping any of these all day long. My only disappointed was we didn’t have more flavors to try.
Charging the Fumot Altera 14K Disposable
Firstly, the Fumot Altera 14k disposable doesn’t come with a Type-C charging cable. In order to charge the device you will require a suitable charging cable. Most mobile phones, tablets or existing pods/mods charging cables will suffice as long as they have the Type-C connection.
During use, once the remaining battery percentage shows 0% and the display flashes 5 times, you will no longer be able to vape and will have to recharge the battery.
Plug your charging cable into the Type-C USB port on the bottom of the Altera 14K. Connect the other end into a suitable power source (typically 5V/1A) or higher. The numerical 7-segment display will remain illuminated and the small green lightning bolt will flash and remain flashing throughout the charging cycle.
As the charge increases, the display will increment in 1% steps until it becomes fully charged at which point the display will show 99%. Shortly after it shows 99%, the display will extinguish and the charging cable can be removed. The Fumot Altera 14k disposable does have pass-through allowing you to charge and vape at the same time but this will increase the overall charging times.
We timed how long the battery took to fully charge from a 2A power source and monitored the accumulated time at 25% intervals as follows:
- 25% of charge took 17 minutes
- 50% of charge took 34 minutes
- 75% of charge took 51 minutes
- 100% (full charge) took 68 minutes
When the Altera 14K disposable is being charged, the base of the device does get warm to the touch, which is normal, so I would recommend to ONLY charge the device on a non-flammable surface.
As with any vape device, NEVER leave it unattended whilst charging.
Fumot Altera 14K Disposable Price
At the time of writing this review we couldn’t find any retailers currently selling this device. Therefore we are unable to give you an approximate price at this time.
Hopefully these are not too expensive and are comparable with other disposables of this size in the market.

Fumot Altera 14K Disposable Review Summary
Definitely one of the best DTL draws we’ve come across on a disposable. We couldn’t fault them and the 8 flavors we tested were really nice and not over sweetened although they all did have traces of “ice” additives. Draw activation worked every time but as expected because of the massive air intake, the draw is a little noisy.
The 1200mAh rechargeable battery lasts nearly 2 days on a single charge with charging time taking around 70 minutes with the added advantage of pass-thru so you can charge and vape at the same time. Variable airflow control on the base of the Fumot Altera 14K produced an unrestrictive DTL draw and restricted (RDL) draw when the airflow is reduced.
ECO and BOOST modes provide extra customization over the intensity of the draw and the digital display keeps track of your remaining battery charge. For a disposable, it has everything you need and what it does have, it does really well.
Most disposables we review fall in the category of MTL/RDL draw styles, however, the Altera 14K is a DTL draw and produces an incredible amount of vapor (and flavor) irrespective which mode is selected.
