Up for review today we’re looking at another Fumot vape device called the Fumot T9000 Pro Max. As the name suggests it’s a 9000 puff pod kit that, while resembling a traditional high puff rechargeable disposable, utilizes a replaceable 2ml + 10ml pre-filled flavored pod system that’s fully TPD compliant within the European vape market.
We’re beginning to see more and more of these types of devices come through our doors, which appears to be the vaping industries answer to overcoming the ever increasing pressure around the negative impact of disposables.
The whole concept of the Fumot T9000 Pro Max design is centered around 3 separate parts; a 1300mAh rechargeable battery/body, a 2ml flavored 0.9 ohm dual mesh coil pod and a 10ml flavored juice pod that when connected together provides a 12ml, 9000 puff pod device. The 2ml and 10ml pods are replaceable and come in a huge range of 32 different flavors.
We’ve very recently reviewed the Fumot Mate Pod Kit that’s another 2ml + 10ml device so feel free to take a look at that one and see just what we thought. With all the different Fumot devices we’ve reviewed over the last year or so, what shines through is always their excellent flavor profiles, bold designs and reliable performance and the T9000 Pro Max follows in the same vein.
There is an earlier release of the Fumot T9000 Pro Max called the T9000 which incorporated a smaller capacity 600mAh battery but unfortunately we didn’t get chance to review that one so can’t accurately compare the difference between the two devices.
We were fortunate enough to have received a sample range of 8 different flavored T9000 Pro Max devices from Fumot which came with a nicotine strength of 20mg/ml (2%). We understand they are also available in zero nicotine strength (0%) but couldn’t verify if they come in a higher strength of 50mg/ml (5%).
Overview of the Fumot T9000 Pro Max Kit
The Fumot T9000 Pro Max as we’ve already mentioned is a three part system, all of which are included in the kit. The body is a pen type 32mm diameter cylindrical tube housing that incorporates an internal rechargeable 1300mAh capacity battery that’s charged via the Type-C charging port on the bottom of the device.
It’s a non-adjustable fixed wattage draw activated Mouth to Lung (MTL) pod device with fixed airflow provided by two small 1.5mm diameter holes either side of the USB charging port. The bottom section of the T9000 Pro Max is semi opaque and incorporates 6 VERY bright multi-colored LED’s that cycle and flash when you draw on the pod mouthpiece and illuminate when it’s being charged.
At the top of the T9000 Pro Max is the very deep 34mm pod recess where the 2ml pre-filled flavor pod, which includes a dual mesh 0.9 ohm coil, connects to the 10ml pre-filled juice pod of the same flavor. This combined pod housing (12ml of e-liquid) then slots into the pod recess and held in place by the aligning magnets on the bottom of the 2ml coil pod.
Operation is very simple as there are no controls, you simply draw on the T9000 Pro Max device which can be used in one of two ways. Using the 2ml coil pod with the silicone rubber mouthpiece fitted, or discard the rubber mouthpiece, connect the 2ml coil pod and 10ml juice pod together, insert back into the pod recess and vape. When the e-liquid in the pods is exhausted, you discard the combined pods and replace with a refill pack.
The Fumot T9000 Pro Max is made out of what feels like Aluminum Alloy with a color-graded paper wrap-around outer sleeve. Overall dimensions measure 135mm tall (including the two pods and mouthpiece) by 32mm diameter with an overall weight of 120 grams.

Fumot T9000 Pro Max Pod Kit Packaging
The packaging consists of a colored cardboard box with a flip open top flap that once opened gives access to the packaging contents. Inside the cardboard box are 2 individually sealed sachets that contain the T9000 Pro Max device with the 2ml pre-filled flavor coil pod with the black silicone rubber mouthpiece attached and a 10ml pre-filled flavor juice pod together with a small user manual.
Do note that a Type-C charging cable is NOT included in the kit so you will have to make sure you have one at hand to re-charge the T9000 Pro Max when needed. Any standard Type-C phone/tablet cable or another pod/mod charging cable will suffice.
On the front of the box is a photo of the T9000 Pro Max in the color of the included device together with the branding “Fumot” and “the product name”. Detailed around the photo are the details: “9000 puffs”, “nicotine strength”, “1300mAh battery”, “flavor name” and the “nicotine safety warning”. The reverse side of the box details the “e-liquid capacity”, “size of the device”, “puff count”, “nicotine dosage and content”, “what the e-liquid contains”, “dangers”, “manufacturer’s details”, “CE/Kite mark” logo’s and the “relevant safety warnings”.
The left side of the box highlights “1300mAh Battery”, “0.9 ohm Dual Mesh”, “RGB Lights”, “Type-C Charging” and a “Bar Code”. The right side displays “T9000 Pro Max”, “Authentication sticker” and a QR Official Site Scan Code.
Overall dimensions of the packaging box measures 135mm x 73mm x 38mm.
Preparing to Use the Fumot T9000 Pro Max kit
Once you open the packaging there are two individual items within the box that are sealed in separate polythene foil sachets; the Fumot T9000 Pro Max and a 10ml flavored juice pod. Tear open both of these sachets and remove the items from their packets.
Take off the clear silicone rubber mouthpiece protector and the silver protection sticker from the base of the T9000 Pro Max that protects the Type-C charging port. Grasp the black silicone mouthpiece and lift out of the T9000 Pro Max pod recess. The black rubber mouthpiece should be attached to the 2ml coil pod, if not remover this as well.
On the base of the 2ml coil pod is a silver protection sticker, remove this sticker and re-insert the 2ml coil pod plus the black silicone mouthpiece back into the pod recess. Lightly turn the mouthpiece until the base of the T9000 Pro Max flashes 4 times. The device is now ready to be used as a 2ml pod system.
Alternatively, the separate 10ml juice pod can be attached to the 2ml coil pod which then provides a 12ml pod system…
To do this, remove the clear silicone mouthpiece and clear information sticker from around the 10ml juice pod.
Remove the black rubber mouthpiece and 2ml coil pod out of the Fumot T9000 Pro Max, discard the black mouthpiece and connect the 10ml juice pod into the top of the 2ml coil pod ensuring the 2 pins align. Make sure the two pods are firmly pressed together so the two pins of the 2ml coil pod break the seals of the two holes in the 10ml juice pod. This is a very snug fit so quite a lot of pressure is needed to fully join the two pods together.
Now fit the combined 2ml + 10ml pod(s) into the T9000 Pro Max pod recess. Lightly turn the mouthpiece until the base of the T9000 Pro Max flashes 4 times. The device is now ready to be used as a 12ml pod system.
Fumot T9000 Pro Max Kit Design and Appearance
As we’ve mentioned earlier the Fumot T9000 Pro Max vape pod kit is a rechargeable and replaceable 2ml + 10ml pod system made up of 3 individual parts. These consist of the Fumot T9000 body/battery, a 2ml coil pod with a silicone rubber mouthpiece and a 10ml juice pod.
It can be used as a 2ml device by just using the 2ml pre-filled flavor coil pod and the silicone rubber mouthpiece. Alternatively you can connect the 10ml pre-filled flavor juice pod to the 2ml coil pod and it then becomes a 12ml device (2ml + 10ml).
It’s very simple and straightforward to use, replicating the look and feel of those bigger puff disposables but utilizes the replaceable 2ml + 10ml coil and juice pods that come in 32 different pre-filled flavors making this a fully TPD compliant pod device. There are no controls or settings to worry about as it’s a fixed wattage constant output power auto draw vape kit with fixed non-adjustable airflow.
Unlike some of Fumot’s other bolder designs, the T9000 Pro Max is reasonably subtle with just a color graded wraparound skin although there are a ring of 6 multi-colored LEDs that twinkle, cycle and shine through the colored opaque base section when you draw on the device. Be warned….these lights are EXTREMELY bright and can’t be switched off.
We’ve given a more detailed breakdown of each part in the following sub-sections below.
Fumot T9000 Pro Max Body/Battery
The Fumot T9000 Pro Max body/battery is constructed out of Aluminum Alloy with a wrap-around graded color paper covering. It measures 96mm tall (excluding the pods) by 32mm diameter and weighs in at 71.25 grams. When the 2ml + 10ml pods are fitted, the combined height is 135mm and weight is 120 grams.
Powered by an internal 1300mAh capacity battery, it’s rechargeable via the Type-C charging port positioned on the bottom of the T9000 Pro Max body. I couldn’t find any information on the charging current but from the time it took to charge it appears to be 5V/0.75A.
The kit doesn’t include a charging cable in order to keep the purchase price to a minimum and doesn’t have pass-thru vaping so you won’t be able to vape while it’s being charged. Charging time took approximately 1hr 45 minutes to fully charge so I’d consider getting a couple of these so you’re never without a vape!
It’s draw activated with a non-adjustable wattage output and fixed air flow intake from the two small holes 1.5mm) either side of the USB port on the base of the Fumot T9000 Pro Max. The draw activation works faultlessly and the output power is spot on providing plenty of flavor and vapor. Although Fumot specify it’s a MTL draw, it is fairly airy (loose) and in my opinion suits a more RDL draw (Restricted-Direct-To-Lung).
Before moving away from the bottom of the Fumot T9000 Pro Max, the base section is opaque and comes in different colors depending on the flavor you’ve chosen. The inner part where the air intake and USB port are located is flat so stands upright when placed on a flat surface and the outer base diameter is ridged with 6 multi-color LEDs. These illuminate, sparkle and cycle when you draw on the pod, when the T9000 Pro Max is being charged and also provides the following functions:
- Drawing on the pod – LEDs illuminate and cycle in multiple colors
- Pod inserted – LEDs flash blue 4 times
- Pod removed – LEDs flash red 4 times
- Charging – LEDs cycle red, blue then green
- Overcharge Protection (Full charge) – LEDs extinguish
- Under Voltage Protection (Low battery) – LEDs flash red 6 times (See Note 1)
- Overtime Protection – (See Note 2)
Note 1: Once the battery flashes red 6 times, the T9000 Pro Max will still continue working for another hour or so after which it will stop working and require charging.
Note 2: I couldn’t find any info on the overtime protection time but to be fair because it’s draw activated and my average vape time was always around 1-3 seconds it’s not a problem.
At the top of the Fumot T9000 Pro Max is the pod recess where the 2ml coil pod and 10ml juice pod locate. This recess is very deep, measuring 35mm in depth and has two gold plated spring loaded coil contact pins, two small circular magnets and an auto draw sensor.
The Fumot T9000 Pro Max is available in multiple colors which correspond with the 32 different flavors that are available. The aluminum alloy body is covered with a color graded wrap-around paper finish that includes the branding “FUMOT and Brand Name” in small font, “UK CA” and “CE” markings with “Powered by RandM” printed underneath and “T9000 Pro Max” printed in larger font on the other side.
We received 8 different flavor kits from the available 32 in the range which we’ve shown above. While the flavor chosen relates to the color you’ll receive, any flavored pod(s) can be inserted into the Fumot T9000 Pro Max body. We’ve detailed all the available flavors Fumot do and the 8 flavors we sampled later on in the Flavors section.
Fumot T9000 Pro Max 2ml Coil Pod
The pre-filled flavored 2ml coil pod incorporates a non-replaceable 0.9 ohm dual mesh coil which can be used independent of the 10ml juice pod with the silicone rubber mouthpiece or combined with the 10ml juice pod giving an overall e-liquid capacity of 12ml.
Each 2ml coil pod is manufactured out of black PCTG material and pre-filled with flavored e-liquid. The kits we received contained 20mg (2%) nic salts but there is a zero nicotine (0%) option available. They are disposable i.e. cannot be refilled so once the e-liquid is used up you dispose of the pod (along with the 10ml juice pod if being used) and fit a new one.
The pod measures 25.5mm tall (excluding the two juice pillars) and the diameter is 30.5mm which is slightly smaller than the T9000 Pro Max body so it slides inside the pod recess. The weight is 20 grams.
When first unpacking the Fumot T9000 Pro Max, it comes with the 2ml coil pod and a silicone rubber mouthpiece fitted. Remove the pod, take off the protection sticker from the base of the pod and refit the pod. The rubber mouthpiece is removable and is lightly held in place by two protruding hollow juice feed pillars either side of the central circular hole that locate with the two holes in the underside of the rubber mouthpiece.
These two juice feed pillars locate into the base of the 10ml juice pod if it’s being used. The underside of the 2ml coil pod has two coil contact plates, two small circular magnets and a single air intake hole.
Each 2ml coil pod has the branding “FUMOT”, “T9000 Pro Max”, and “UK, CA and CE” markings printed on one side and the “Flavor Name” printed on the other side of the pod.
Fumot T9000 Pro Max 10ml Juice Pod
The 10ml juice pod as the name suggests is a sealed container that simply contains 10ml of pre-filled flavored e-liquid with an integrated mouthpiece. This pod again is sealed so is disposable i.e. cannot be refilled so once the e-liquid is used up you dispose of the pod (along with the 2ml coil pod) and fit a new one.
Each 10ml juice pod is manufactured out of colored semi opaque PCTG material so the e-liquid is clearly visible through the pod and pre-filled with flavored e-liquid (in our case 20mg nic salts). It measures 48.3mm tall with a lower diameter of 30.5mm that matches the diameter of the 2ml coil pod and weighs 29 grams. The upper diameter is 32mm, exactly the same size as the Fumot T9000 Pro Max body so when fitted it’s a seamless fit.
When the 10ml juice pod is first removed from its sealed wrapper, there is a clear silicone rubber protector on the mouthpiece and a clear sticky label wrapped around the diameter of the pod. Remove and discard both of these.
The top of the pod has the integrated mouthpiece with an internal 4.9mm diameter chimney. The underside of the 10ml juice pod has a center chimney hole with two smaller sealed holes either side. These locate with the two hollow juice pillars on the top of the 2ml coil pod. When connected together, the e-liquid trickles out of the 10ml juice pod into the 2ml coil pod.
Each 10ml juice pod has the branding “FUMOT”, “T9000 Pro Max” and the “flavor name” printed around the lower diameter section and “UK, CA and CE” markings indented on the base of the pod which are concealed when the pod it attached.
Importantly, when the 2ml coil pod and 10ml juice pod are connected together, the correct insertion into the Fumot T9000 Pro Max pod recess is aligning the Fumot logo on the side of the 10ml juice pod with the Fumot logo on the side of the T9000 Pro Max body.
When the combined pods are inserted into the T9000 Pro Max, the LEDs will flash “Blue” 4 times. If they don’t flash then slowly rotate the 10ml juice pod until the LEDs flash “Blue”.
Fumot T9000 Pro Max Device Performance
Straight out the packet, once the 2 pods have their protection stickers removed and are assembled together and placed in the T9000 Pro Max, it can be used right away.
Auto draw is very responsive and never faltered throughout our time vaping them. The bottom fixed airflow provides a very quiet and smooth airy (loose) MTL style draw. As I pointed out earlier in the review, I found a RDL draw was more effective and suited my style of vaping.
Unfortunately there’s no remaining battery status indication with the LEDs. Once these LEDs flash red 6 times you will have approximately 1 hour of average vaping time left before the T9000 Pro Max stops working and needs to be charged.
As there is no pass-thru, if you don’t want to be caught out, you can plug a charging cable into the charging port and observe the color of the LEDs. If they are Green then you at least know there’s enough charge left in the battery for a good vaping session.
Despite the lack of pass-through and any remaining battery status indication, the 1300mAh capacity battery lasted me over 2 days vaping before requiring recharging. Charging time was a little longer than expected so I would recommend having more than one device so you’re not left hanging.
Keeping an eye on the e-liquid level is easy as the 10ml juice pod is semi-opaque so you can see what e-liquid is left remaining. Saying this, it’s slightly confusing because you can still vape for over a day when it looks like you have no e-liquid visible in the 10ml juice pod. I’m guessing there is still 2ml of e-liquid left in the 2ml coil pod that’s not visible in the 10ml juice pod even when the device is turned upside down.
On the subject of e-liquid, the flavor from each of the 8 different flavored devices/pods was really very good. We’ve come to expect this from Fumot as they ALWAYS seem to deliver top-class flavors. The amount of vapor produced from a short 1-2 second MTL draw was pretty impressive, turn it up a notch and try a RDL draw and the room will soon fill with dense clouds.
The 9000 puff count, although not every draw was counted, I felt was about right but this is always ambiguous and depends on the length of your draw. Of the 3 Fumot T9000 Pro Max kits I finished while writing this review, the shortest one lasted me 11 days. Of course the beauty of the T9000 Pro Max is you simply replace the pod(s) with a new refill pack and you’re away again.
My one criticism of the Fumot T9000 Pro Max is the LEDs…I really wish Fumot hadn’t made them so bright or at least given us the means to disable them! Even in the light of day these LEDs can be seen from a 1000 meters (slight exaggeration).
Fumot T9000 Pro Max Kit Flavors
Fumot were very kind enough to send us 8 out of the 32 different flavor T9000 Pro Max kits to try and not one of them disappointed. All the flavors received contained 20mg (2%) strength nicotine salts as per our TPD regulations and every draw felt dense, satisfying, and full-bodied without ever being overwhelming.

Blueberry Raspberry
A rich, slightly tart combination where the raspberry’s sharpness cuts through the blueberry’s deeper sweetness. There’s no ice here, so it’s warmer and more rounded than the other fruity options. The fruits are really easy to pick out and taste authentic.
I would say the raspberry comes through as the slightly more prominent flavor of the two.
Cherry Ice
A refreshing and enjoyable single flavor cherry with just a hint of ice added to keeps things cool. The cherry doesn’t come across as being overly sweet or overpowering but enough to keep the taste buds wanting more.
Grape Ice
Definitely a 100% grape and a rather nice one too. Not overly sweet and with the right balance of coolant added to give it that little extra fresh taste. Grape has never been my go to flavor but I’m sure grape lovers would find this a great vape.
Peach Berry
The prominent flavors here are the berry combo that comes through every time. I couldn’t detect a peach flavor and to be frank I wouldn’t have thought peach and berry would compliment each other.
Neither tart or sweet, it’s an enjoyable flavor and would name this one a berry mix.
Raspberry Watermelon
These two combined flavors of Raspberry and Watermelon provide a mouth-watering blend of apposing fruits resulting in a really enjoyable all day vape.
For me the sweetness of the watermelon was masked by the tartness of the raspberry but one that I found hard to put down.
Straw Mango
Despite these two fruits being combined together, the mango comes across as the more prominent flavor on both the inhale and the lingering aftertaste. I love mango and this one is up there with the best of them. The inclusion of straw and I’m assuming its strawberry adds that extra dimension to the overall flavor tone.
This one’s not overly sweet but definitely juicy with a very slight coolness after extending vaping. The combination of these two flavors works really well and definitely one to look out for.
Strawberry Ice
Sweet, very refreshing and easy to vape all day. The strawberry is juicy and natural-tasting but there is another tone in the background that to me resembles a cream soda note. The cooling ice agent is not overpowering and the balance makes it feel smooth and satisfying.
Strawberry Watermelon
Classic pairing here done just right. Sweet strawberry comes through first, followed by a juicy watermelon that keeps things from getting too sugary. The ice element is lighter here, letting the fruit stay front and center.
The combination of these two flavors are equal in strength and provides a great satisfying vape leaving you wanting more after every draw.
When and How Do I Change The 2ml Coil Pod and 10ml Juice Pod?
When your Fumot T9000 Pro Max has run out of e-liquid and you start to get a loss of vapor/flavor followed by a dry cotton wool taste, it’s time to replace the 2ml coil pod and 10ml juice pod with a new refill pack.
Note 1: The lightly tinted colored opaque 10ml juice pod and mouthpiece allows you to visibly see the remaining e-liquid through them that’s left in the juice pod. However, even when there’s no sign of e-liquid left, you are still be able to vape on the Fumot T9000 Pro Max for a further 1 day before the e-liquid is completely exhausted and you start to get the dry cotton wool taste.
Note 2: Even though the 2ml coil pod and 10ml juice pod are individual pods, once the two pods are connected together to form the 12ml combined pod they cannot be separated.
The process of changing the 2ml coil pod and 10ml juice refill pod is explained below:
- Grasp the 10ml e-liquid refill pod and pull away from the Fumot T9000 Pro Max. The attached 2ml coil pod will also come away at the same time
- Dispose of the 2ml coil pod and 10ml juice pod in a suitable recycling bin
- Unpack your new refill pack and take out the 2ml coil pod and 10ml juice pod from their respective sealed polythene sachets
- Remove the two clear silicone rubber protectors from the top of both pods
- Remove any protection stickers from both pods
- Remove and discard the black silicone rubber mouthpiece from the 2ml coil pod
- Align the bottom of the 10ml juice pod with the top of the 2ml coil pod and press together firmly so they snap together
- Align the combined 2ml+10ml pod(s) with the T9000 Pro Max so the two Fumot logo’s align and then insert the pod(s)
How Do I Charge The Fumot T9000 Pro Max?
The Fumot T9000 Pro Max internal rechargeable 1300mAh capacity battery is charged using a Type-C to USB charging cable (not supplied in the kit) fitted to the USB-C port on the bottom of the T9000 Pro Max.
Once the battery runs out of charge (0%) and the display flashes red 6 times with no draw activation, you will need to put the T9000 Pro Max on charge to replenish the battery and continue vaping. Plug your cable into the Type-C USB port and connect the other end into a suitable power source (typically 5V/1A or greater).
When the Fumot T9000 Pro Max is placed on charge, the 6 multi-color LEDs will illuminate and cycle in red. As the charge in the battery increases the LEDs color will change to blue and then to green. Full charge is reached when the cycling green LEDs extinguish.
We monitored the time the T9000 Pro Max took for the battery to fully charge as outlined below:
- LEDs cycle RED for 2 minutes
- LEDs cycle BLUE for a further 30 minutes
- LEDs cycle GREEN for a further 1 hour 15 minutes then extinguish
- Full charge took 1 hour 47 minutes
Charging times are not the quickest and this isn’t helped that it doesn’t support pass-thru vaping. My solution to this dilemma is to buy two devices so while one is being charged you can vape on the other!
When the Fumot T9000 Pro Max was being charged, the bottom of the device remained reasonably cool to the touch but I always advise to charge this, and any other device for that matter, on a non-flammable surface.
As always, NEVER leave your vape device unattended while on charge.

Performance wise, simplicity of use, longevity and price of the Fumot T9000 Pro Max Kit, coupled with the huge range of flavored devices and refill packs available makes this an outstanding device that mimics a disposable yet is rechargeable and re-usable.
Not only is this far more eco-friendly and extremely cost effective, you have the assurance that this big puff device is fully TPD compliant.
Price wise, the Fumot T9000 Pro Max kit which includes the body/battery, 2ml flavored coil pod and 10ml flavored juice pod is selling for around the £9 mark. The 2ml+10ml refill packs are selling for around £5-6 each.
Some of the retail websites we’ve visited are offering a bundle of 3 full kits for £25 making them even more of a bargain.

Fumot T9000 Pro Max Kit Review Summary
The Fumot T9000 Pro Max pod kit despite its simplicity performs extremely well, has a really good battery life between charges and the flavor, certainly from the 8 different ones we tried is exceptional. I would categorize it as a starter kit because of the closed system pre-filled pods but definitely so much more sustainable and cost effective than a disposable.
Having the combination of a replaceable 2ml coil pod and 10ml juice pod provides a massive 12ml of e-liquid which is TPD compliant because of the pod(s) design. The available range of 32 different flavors means the choice is endless.
Charging time is not the quickest and doesn’t support pass-through vaping but considering the extremely cost effective price tag means there’s no excuse to have more than one of these devices on the go at any one time.
Responsive draw activation, ease of use, consistent flavor and a great MTL/RDL draw, coupled with the multiple choice of flavors makes the Fumot T9000 Pro Max a force to be reckoned with. I can’t end this summary without mentioning those LEDs other than to say…….they are BRIGHT!
