Today we’re taking a look at the Orion Bar 10000; the latest disposable vape from the much acclaimed Lost Vape brand!
Earlier this year we reviewed both the Orion Bar 7500 and the OB5500 and were astounded by the incredible design, performance and flavors on both of these Lost Vape disposables!
Now with an increased number of puffs, the Orion Bar 10000 looks to raise the bar again. While bigger isn’t always better, in this case it most definitely is!
The Orion Bar 10000 not only features an incredible 20ml of e-juice but also offers the user a smart LED display to keep track of the e-juice and battery levels. On top of this it comes with variable airflow, an impressive 650mAh rechargeable battery and 1.0 ohm mesh coil for improved flavor and vapor!
As if that wasn’t already enough, there are 10 delicious flavors to sample. It’s also available in a 50mg/ml nicotine strength which makes it ideal for those looking to make the switch from smoking to vaping.
Just a word of warning though, as a non TPD compliant disposable you won’t be able to purchase the Orion Bar 10000 in the UK or EU regions.
At Vaping Hardware we’re all about helping our readers find the best disposable vapes that money can buy. Join us to see how the Orion Bar 10000 stacks up to the competition!

What’s in the Box?

Lost Vape were generous enough to send us a gift box with 6 of the flavors included inside. We were also lucky enough to receive an additional 2 flavors in individual boxes (2 shy on the 10 total flavors available).

The packaging for an individual Orion Bar 10000 features a ton of handy information. On the front you’ll see an image of the disposable along with the puff count, flavor name and a mandatory nicotine warning. The sides of the box also confirm the e-juice capacity, nicotine strength and give several more warnings.
On the back of the box you’ll find yet more warnings along with an ingredients list and some instructions on the functionality of the smart LED display. There’s also a QR/scratch code that lets you check the disposable you’ve purchased is the real deal.

Once you remove your Orion Bar 10000 from the foil wrapper you’ll have to remove the silicone bung from the mouthpiece and peel off the sticker blocking the airflow and charge port. After that you’re good to go!
Orion Bar 10000 | Design and Appearance
As with all the Lost Vape disposables we’ve reviewed in the past, the Orion Bar 10000 is a compact and lightweight device, despite holding a whopping 20ml of e-juice, a 650mAh rechargeable battery and a smart LED display!
Measuring in at just 90mm in height, 48mm in width and 22mm in depth, the Orion Bar 10000 is only marginally bigger than previous disposables within the Orion Bar range. The fact Lost Vape have managed to maintain a compact and comfortable size with all the added extras is a sheer feat of engineering!
While it’s not quite as dinky as the OB5500 it does put out almost double the amount of puffs! Personally I’d take the increase in vaping time over the more compact disposable any day of the week.

With a weight of just 73g it’s also incredibly convenient for carrying with you on the go. In fact I regularly carried 2 or 3 with me at the same time and barely noticed them in my pockets! The light weight also means it’s incredibly comfortable to hold in the hand.
This is also helped along by an interesting raised logo design on two-thirds of the body. Like something out of a game of Minesweeper, the outer body of the Orion Bar 10000 features small squares in a grid-like pattern.
The name ‘Lost Vape’ is then raised above the rest of the squares in an almost braille-like way to create a really fun and unique design. While this quirky design sets the Orion Bar 10000 apart from just about every other disposable out there, it also serves a dual purpose of making the disposable really easy to grip!

Further adding to an already unique design, the remaining third of the body features a clear Polycarbonate shell that exposes the Orion Bar’s internal battery, circuit board and smart LED display.
It’s another design choice that was clearly taken to make the Orion Bar 10000 stand out from the crowd. Of the many disposables I’ve had the pleasure of using this one is probably the most eye-catching and fun!
Branding is also found on the internal rechargeable battery with the words ‘LOST VAPE’ and ‘ORION BAR’ printed across the front. On the opposite side of the battery you’ll see the name of the flavor. The battery itself also has several vibrant colors that match the flavor inside and add to the funky effect.
Overall I loved the aesthetics of the Orion Bar 10000! It’s so refreshing to see each iteration of the Orion Bar disposable looking completely different from the one that came before it. It keeps things fun and bucks the trend of vape companies releasing almost carbon copies of the same looking disposable over and over again.

When it comes to vaping on the Orion Bar 10000 things are also incredibly simple. As a draw-activated device with a set power output there are no buttons or adjustments to be made in terms of wattage.
To activate the coil you simply draw on the mouthpiece. The auto-draw feature worked flawlessly across all 8 of the Orion Bar 10000s I tested and it only takes the lightest of draws to activate.
The only thing you can adjust on the Orion Bar 10000 is the airflow slider, located on the bottom of the device. It’s a feature that’s present on all Orion Bar disposables and allows you to obtain a variety of draws.

Just under a year ago variable airflow on a disposable was basically unheard of. Lost Vape were one of the first companies to recognize the demand for this feature and thankfully made it a mainstay of the Orion Bar range!
At one end of the slider the airflow on the Orion Bar 10000 gives a really tight MTL (mouth to lung) draw that’s similar in style to smoking an analog cigarette. This setting is probably ideal if you’re looking to make the switch from smoking to vaping.
On the opposite end of the slider you feel a noticeable difference with a more much airy and open draw. This lets you achieve a more RDTL (restricted direct to lung) draw and ramps up the amount of vapor produced.
Personally I liked the draw with the slider sitting somewhere in the middle of the range. This gives a more comfortable MTL draw and lets more of the mouth-watering flavor shine through!

On the opposite side to the airflow slider you’ll find the Type-C USB charge port (0.5A) that can be used to recharge the device when it does (eventually) run out of battery. As to be expected with any disposable vape, there’s no included charge cable, but any appropriate Type-C charging lead will do.
At the other end of the body you’ll find a large duckbill styled mouthpiece with a wide oval opening at the top. It’s color coded to match the rest of the body and protrudes 16mm above the rest of the device.
It’s slightly chunkier than other mouthpiece designs I’ve seen on Orion bar disposables, but I actually preferred it. It’s just large enough to allow for a great purchase with the lips and nicely compliments a MTL draw style.

In terms of shape the overall body has a rectangular design with smooth curved edges on each of the corners. When combined with the raised logo design the Orion Bar 10000 is really comfortable to hold and almost impossible to drop.
Being a fairly clumsy person I’m prone to dropping the vapes I use and while annoying, it does usually let me report back on the durability of a disposable’s design. Alas, with the Orion Bar 10000 I didn’t drop a single one of the 10 I tested, due in large part to the grip-friendly design.
Ever the conscientious tester though, I drop tested three of the Orion Bar 10000s onto hard surfaces from around a height of two meters. I carried out the tests near the end of each vapes lifespan so as not to inadvertently waste any vape time if damage occurred.
This however proved a completely redundant precaution because not a single one of the three I dropped showed any signs of damage or a drop in performance!

Last but no means least, the standout feature for me was the smart LED display with indications for both the total remaining e-juice and remaining battery level in the current charge. It’s not a feature I’ve seen on Orion Bar disposables before but it does an amazing job of elevating the Orion Bar 10000 to a whole new level!
The smart LED display is also incredibly user-friendly. Whenever you draw on the Orion Bar 10000 the display will illuminate and show the remaining battery charge (0-100%) for 3 seconds.
After this the battery indicator is replaced with the e-juice indicator which displays the remaining amount of e-juice in the tank (0-100%). Interestingly enough the battery display drops in 5% increments while the e-juice display drops in 1% increments.

This is such a useful feature to have on a disposable vape and completely eliminates any worries you typically get about running out of battery and/or e-juice while on the go! Gone are the days of running out of battery or e-juice when you’re halfway to work. With the Orion Bar 10000 a quick draw on the mouthpiece will instantly tell you how much you’ve got left.
All in all I was incredibly impressed with the design and appearance of the Orion Bar 10000! I’ll even go out on the limb here and say it’s my favorite Orion Bar disposable to date. Given how much I loved the other Orion Bar disposables that really is saying something!
In fact the only minor drawback I could find with the design is the lack of pass-through charging. When the device does need to be recharged you aren’t able to puff on it. In the grand scheme of things though it’s a minor disadvantage, and all the more reason to buy at least two!

Overall though, I think Lost Vape have knocked it out of the park again! The compact and lightweight design makes it ideal for taking with you on the go and the unique, colorful aesthetics give it a fun, funky vibe.
The inclusion of a smart LED display is a real game changer, the impressive 20ml capacity is astounding and the large 650mAh battery allows for plenty of vaping time (more on this later!). Add to this a variable airflow slider and fantastic build quality and the Orion Bar 10000 is fast becoming my personal go-to disposable!
Orion Bar 10000 | Performance
When it comes to the performance of the Orion Bar 10000 things are just as positive! The first thing to talk about is the crazy length of time an individual Orion Bar 10000 disposable will last you.

Just as it says on the packet, the Orion Bar 10000 will last you for around roughly 10,000 puffs. While accurately counting each single puff on a disposable like this would be a fairly tricky challenge, what I was able to do was count how many puffs I took in a single day and times that by the total number of days each disposable lasted me.
I was able to vape 2 of the Orion Bar 10000s I tested to the very end of their lifespan and each of those lasted for just a few hours under 17 full days. With a puff count of 585 on the first day, each of the two provided almost 10,000 puffs each.
As an extremely heavy vaper a 17 day lifespan for a single disposable is amazing! While I take almost 600 puffs a day, a light vaper could reasonably take only 250 puffs a day, perhaps even less. If we work on the assumption of only 250 draws a day, the Orion Bar 10000 could last for as long as 40 days!
This not only makes the Orion Bar 10000 an extremely convenient device to use, but also an amazingly cost effective way of getting your fix!

In terms of battery life I was also blown away. With a 650mAh internal battery I expected around a day and a half of vape time, possibly 2 full days at best. Instead the Orion Bar 10000 exceeded all expectations and vaped for at least 2 and a half days in between recharges!
This means you can take the Orion bar 10000 out with you for the day, even a full weekend, without having to worry about running out of battery at the worst possible time.
When the battery does run out of power the smart LED display flashes 5 times in quick succession. After plugging in a USB-C cable the LED stays permanently lit and provides a running commentary of the current charge, until the battery reaches 100%. All told this takes just under an hour.

Like I mentioned earlier, it’s a shame the Orion Bar 10000 doesn’t feature pass-through charging, but a short charge time of only 1 hour means you won’t be waiting long. The included smart LED display also means you can take the device off charge when it’s reached the desired capacity (perfect if you’re like me and have very little patience!).
Another thing that impressed was the high volume of vapor the Orion Bar 10000 kicks out! While you won’t be winning any cloud chasing competitions with it, it just about beats out almost every other disposable I’ve tried in the past in terms of vapor production!
The thick, foggy clouds of vapor are best produced with the airflow slider set to fully open. The RDTL draw style provides plenty of airflow to the 1.0 ohm mesh coil and produces thick, dense clouds comparable with a traditional tank and mod setup.

It also performs amazingly when it comes to throat hit and nicotine delivery. Because the Orion Bar 10000 is only currently available in a 50mg/ml nicotine strength, it only takes a few short puffs for instant satisfaction.
While I usually vape a lower milligram strength nicotine the 50mg strength was satisfying and smooth. In the past I’ve experienced a tightening sensation at the back of the throat when vaping 50mg strength disposables, but in four weeks of vaping on the Orion Bar 10000s I haven’t experience this once.
As well as this the integrated mesh coil provides consistently great vapor and flavor with zero burnt/dry hits at all. The only time the flavor dropped off was right near the end of the available 20ml of e-juice.

Like I mentioned previously the auto-draw function also worked perfectly across all 8 of the Orion Bar 10000s I tested. The response is super sensitive and it only takes the lightest of draws to activate the coil, regardless of where the airflow slider is sitting.
And while we’re talking about the airflow I was also super impressed. While the RDTL draw provides a good amount of airflow and kicks out more vapor, I found the device is much more suited to a MTL style. With the airflow slider sitting in the middle it’s not too tight and nicely mimics the sensation of drawing on a cigarette.
Finally it’s also worth mentioning that not a single one of the 8 I vaped on leaked, not so much as a single drop! While these days most disposables are generally leak proof, I’ve still had several leak e-juice on me in the past.
There’s nothing worse that having e-juice ruin your favorite item of clothing, or worse still splutter into your mouth. In this regard the Orion Bar 10000 performed flawlessly!

Overall I was really surprised by the performance on the Orion Bar 10000. I fully expected to love it…just not quite this much! The lifespan is mind-bending and the 650mAh battery provides an insane amount of vaping time in between recharges.
Add to this a super handy LED display, tons of vapor, consistent flavor production and a useful airflow slider to find your perfect sweet spot, and the Orion Bar 10000 is probably the best disposable I’ve tested this year!
Orion Bar 10000 | Flavors

Another thing that I love about Orion Bar disposables is the insanely delicious flavors! Sometimes in the past I’ve found a perfectly well designed disposable let down by the quality of e-juice inside. With the Orion Bar 10000 it’s evident from the very first puff that Lost Vape spend a great deal of time crafting authentic tasting blends.
In total the Orion Bar 10000 has been released with 10 flavors:
- Blue Razz Ice
- Miami Mint
- Strawberry Chew
- Peach Mango Watermelon
- Raspberry Sour Apple
- Pineapple Lemonade
- Strawberry Summertime
- Grape Burst
- Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava
- Lush Ice
As you can see the flavor range focuses predominantly on the fruity blends but it’s nice to see the inclusion of the Miami Mint flavor.
We were lucky enough to receive 8 flavors from the range. While taste is incredibly subjective I’ll do my best to describe each of the flavors I tried below:
Blue Razz Ice

Easily one of my favorite flavors from the range, the Blue Razz Ice has a rich, authentic blueberry taste that really pops on the inhale. On the exhale the sweeter notes of the raspberry shine through and are nicely complimented by a gentle coolness from the ice.
Definitely an all day vape for me and one I found hard to put down!
Grape Burst

Of the 8 flavors I tried the Grape Burst was probably my least favorite flavor. Full disclaimer though, I absolutely despise grape flavors in a vape. I’ve tried many in the past and I’m yet to find a grape flavored vape that keeps me coming back for more.
What I can say about the Grape Burst is that it’s clearly a great representation of the real thing. Burst by name and burst by nature; the flavors explode in your mouth from the very first puff! If grape is your thing then I’d highly recommend Lost Vape’s offering.
Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava

Another of my personal favorites, the Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava is an absolute explosion of fruity, cocktail flavors! Perfect for a hot summer’s day, the passion fruit has a tingling sour quality that’s nicely balanced out by the sweetness from the kiwi and guava flavors.
I found myself genuinely disappointed when the e-juice readout finally showed 0%. Definitely a flavor I plan on picking up again soon!
Lush Ice

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, this was another flavor I found hard to put down! The Lush Ice is a perfect blend of sweet, succulent watermelon mixed with a subtle coolness that rounds the flavor off nicely.
One of the things I love about Lost Vape’s flavors is they don’t overdo it on the ice. When done correctly, ice additives nicely compliment a flavor, but when overdone it can completely ruin a blend.
Peach Mango Watermelon

Another eruption of fruit flavors, the Peach Mango Watermelon is a truly sweet delight. It’s hard to pin down which individual flavor takes the forefront because they all seem to fight it out for the top spot. The result is an absolutely delicious blend that wouldn’t be out of place on a tropical beach somewhere!
This was another one of the few flavors I vaped to completion before writing this review and again another one I’ll be adding to the shopping cart soon!
Miami Mint

While some prefer the multi-blend flavors, sometimes the best things in life are simple and straightforward. I personally loved the Miami Mint flavor and found it to be a cool, refreshing vape that worked perfectly to reset the tastebuds.
It was certainly less icy than expected with a more sweet spearmint flavor coming through. While it’s probably not a flavor I’d rush out to buy again, I’d happily vape it all day.
Strawberry Summertime

Probably one of the more refreshing flavors on the list, the Strawberry Summertime is packed full of delightfully lip-smacking flavor. The strawberry note is easily picked up on the inhale but it’s mixed in with an almost Florida orange taste that really pleases the tastebuds.
Yet again another all day vape and one that keeps me coming back for more.
Raspberry Sour Apple

Another delicious medley of tastes, the Raspberry Sour Apple has a real lip-smacking sourness to it! The sour apple really pops on the inhale but there’s a subtle sweetness from the raspberry that creeps through on the exhale.
Easily another all day vape for me and one of my favorites from the range!
Having sampled almost the entire Orion Bar 10000 flavor range I can safely say I’ll be returning for more in the future. Unfortunately I didn’t get the opportunity to sample the Strawberry Chew or Pineapple Lemonade flavors but based on the rest of the range, I’m sure they’re incredibly delicious.
I also love the fact that Lost Vape don’t just regurgitate the same flavors whenever they release a new Orion Bar. There always seem to be several new and exciting blends that keep interest and intrigue high.
As ever, the Lost Vape Orion Bar flavors really elevate their disposable above the majority of the competition. It’s clear Lost Vape put a great deal of time and effort into creating unique blends that will appeal to a wide range of vapers.
Orion Bar 10000 | Price
Unfortunately as a brand new release there don’t seem to be many shops currently stocking the Orion Bar 10000! Given the amazing design, performance and flavors though, I’d expect this to change very quickly!
We don’t have a recommended retail price from the guys and girls over at Lost Vape but I’d definitely be happy paying around the $20 mark for one. When you consider the amazing number of puffs available this kind of price would make the Orion Bar 10000 a real budget-friendly means of vaping.
One store I did come across (zmarksthespot) is currently selling the Orion Bar 10000 for a very reasonable $14.99. When you remember that this well designed and high performance disposable could last a light vaper well over a month, this price is an absolute bargain!
This cost pales in comparison to the price you’d pay for cigarettes or even single day disposables like the popular 600 puff Elf Bar.
Orion Bar 10000 | Verdict
Based on my previous experiences with the Orion Bar 7500 and the OB5500, I had high expectations coming into this review. What I didn’t quite expect was to find a disposable that easily beats those two in terms of design and performance! Lost Vape seem to have honed their ability to consistently innovate and improve upon previous models.
