MOTI PIIN C4000 Disposable Review

MOTI PIIN C4000 Disposable Review | A Monster 4,000 Puff Disposable With 12 Different Flavors!

Adam Winter Disposable Vapes 2 Comments

Today we’re reviewing the MOTI PIIN C4000, one of the latest releases from the team over at MOTI. The MOTI PIIN C4000 is a serious upgrade over the earlier disposables in the PIIN range, which we reviewed way back when they first exploded onto the market.

If you’ve read any of our previous reviews, you know I’m a big fan of MOTI disposables and the PIIN range in particular.

In fact, those early PIIN devices were among the first disposables we ever reviewed! They had a lot to offer in terms of flavor, vapor production and battery life and they effectively kick-started our journey to find the best disposable on the market.

With that in mind, when Mozart at MOTI asked us to review the PIIN C4000, we jumped at the chance.

In a nutshell, the MOTI PIIN C4000 is a single use disposable with a 4,000 puff capacity, 5ml of 50mg/ml nicotine e-juice and a 950mAh internal, non-rechargeable battery.

If you’re not familiar with disposables, when I say single use I mean the PIIN C4000 is non-rechargeable. The 950mAh battery and 5ml e-juice capacity provide (for me anyway!) between 4-5 days of heavy vaping, at which point you throw the C4000 away and replace it with a new one.

Like all disposables, the MOTI PIIN C4000 is also draw activated, which means you just inhale on the mouthpiece to take a puff. No menu, firing button or controls to worry about.

At the time of writing, the UK in particular is seeing a huge demand for disposable vape devices. All of the major disposable manufacturers are churning out device after device, with only a select few bringing anything of genuine value to the table…

With that said, MOTI have consistently impressed me with the quality of their products, especially their disposables, and I had high hopes for the PIIN C4000!

So without further ado, let’s get stuck into the full MOTI PIIN C4000 review!

I’d like to quickly thank Mozart at MOTI for sending me the MOTI PIIN C4000 disposable to review. As always, this review is completely unbiased and only contains my honest opinions on the product. What’s In The Box

The MOTI PIIN C4000 disposable comes packaged in a small, color-coded cardboard sleeve that matches the flavor of the disposable inside. Grape ice is a deep purple, pineapple ice is a vivid yellow, you get the idea.

All the information you’re likely to need is printed on the box, including the standard nicotine warnings and e-juice ingredients.

Front and centre is a picture of the MOTI PIIN C4000 disposable, with the flavor name printed just above and the nicotine strength and puff capacity just below.

On the left facing side of the packaging, the device name, puff capacity and flavor are again printed, while the right facing side displays the manufacture date and expiration date.

On the reverse of the packaging, the Shenzhen Flame Technology company name, postal address and e-mail address are displayed.

The puff capacity, nicotine strength and battery capacity are also printed on the reverse, as well as a QR Code so you confirm the authenticity of your PIIN C4000 disposable.

Finally, the PIIN C4000 disposable is sealed inside a foil wrapper, which can be torn open at either end. Once you’ve removed the MOTI PIIN C4000 from the foil wrapper, you just need to remove the silicone cap at either end and you’re good to go!

Overall, they’ve done a great job with the packaging. It’s bright, bold and colorful – everything we’ve come to expect from MOTI!

MOTI PIIN C4000 | Design & Appearance

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room…

The MOTI PIIN C4000 is a big disposable. Far bigger than any other disposable I’ve used in fact. Measuring in at 116mm in height by 20mm in diameter, the PIIN C4000 disposable is not for you if you prefer the smaller pen-style vape devices.

In terms of overall shape and size, I’d say it’s actually more akin to a large Cuban cigar!

It’s also on the heavy side for a disposable, weighing in at 47g. Compared to, let’s say the Elf Bar 600, which weighs approximately 28g and is considerably smaller, the MOTI PIIN C4000 disposable is by no means a discreet vape!

Having said that, I don’t think this is a negative at all. Personally, I quite like the larger, heavier style disposables. We tested the Voltbar a while back, a similarly large disposable and it’s now a firm favorite among our writing team.

The larger style disposables are not necessarily a device you’d want several of jammed into your pocket, but they do feel robust and reliable.

Not to mention the fact they make me feel like Arnie from Predator while I’m vaping them!

In terms of design, the MOTI PIIN C4000 disposable is big, bold and colorful. Each flavor is a different color and the artwork is printed in a black font with small cartoony faces spattered throughout.

The word ‘PIIN’ is printed in large, hollow capitals and ‘THE NEXT GEN VAPE’ is printed in black within the large ‘I’ and ‘N’ of ‘PIIN’. It’s a quirky design and works well with the overall style of MOTI.

The flavor name and ‘MOTI PIIN C4000’ are printed towards the bottom of the device, just above the LED ring at the base.

The LED ring wraps around the diameter of the MOTI PIIN C4000, lighting up when you take a draw or flashing when you’re out of battery/e-juice and the disposable needs to be thrown away.

The base of the C4000 is slightly curved and on the very underside of the device are two small airflow slits and the words ‘FEELM inside’. This of course is referring to the FEELM ceramic coil enclosed within the disposable, which MOTI claim improves heating efficiency and produces a smoother throat hit with smaller aerosol particles.

At the top of the MOTI PIIN C4000 is the black, plastic mouthpiece. The duck-bill design is a remnant from the earlier PIIN disposable(s) and I’m really pleased to see it bought back for the C4000 as it makes for a super comfortable vape.

MOTI also opted to make the mouthpiece section transparent, which theoretically allows you to see how much e-juice is left in the reservoir. It’s a nice idea, and you can see the e-juice if you hold the C4000 up to the light, but I didn’t always find it possible to see exactly how much e-juice was left.

I think because the mouthpiece is black (and the e-juice appears to be dark in color) it’s really not easy to see how much juice you have left unless you hold the C4000 up to a really bright light.

Overall though, I think MOTI have done a fantastic job with the design and appearance of the PIIN C4000 disposable. I do think the design will definitely divide opinion (I’ve heard it described as an oversized crayon!) but for what it’s worth I absolutely love it.

MOTI have included everything that made the original PIIN and PIIN Plus so popular, and despite the larger size, the MOTI PIIN C4000 is super comfortable to hold and vape thanks to the matte finish and duck-bill mouthpiece design.

MOTI PIIN C4000 | Performance

In terms of performance, I’ll start by pointing out the one thing I didn’t like…

I’m not sure exactly what to PIIN the blame on (pun intended) but something felt a little amiss with the flavor and/or throat hit with the PIIN C4000, as opposed to the earlier PIIN devices.

Don’t get me wrong, the actual flavor is incredible, as expected from a MOTI disposable. But every few puffs I took left me with a slightly odd feeling in my throat, almost like I couldn’t quite catch my breath for a split second.

I originally put this down to the fact the MOTI PIIN C4000 is only available in 50mg/ml, which is higher than I’m used to vaping. However, it’s something I experienced over several weeks with all 10 of the samples MOTI sent me.

Given that I had plenty of time to get accustomed to the higher nicotine strength, I can only assume it was something to do with the actual e-juice and/or flavoring.

I switched to another disposable (incidentally also a MOTI disposable; the MOTI Box R7000!) and the problem went away. If you’ve tried the PIIN C4000 disposable and had a similar experience, please let me know in the comments below!

It’s also important to mention, I had not long recovered from the clutches of Covid! This could of course explain the slightly odd throat feeling I experienced so I’m cautious about placing the blame solely at the feet of the PIIN C4000…

Aside from the above, the MOTI PIIN C4000 disposable has a lot to offer in terms of performance. The draw allows for a perfect, restrictive MTL (mouth-to-lung) vape, which means you take the vapor into your mouth before breathing it into your lungs. Much the same way as you’d smoke a cigarette.

In fact, the airflow is absolutely spot on if you’re looking to make the switch from smoking to vaping, as the PIIN C4000 perfectly replicates the feel of smoking a cigarette. Most disposables we’ve tested get the draw and airflow just right, but it’s still worth mentioning nonetheless.

The auto-draw activation also worked flawlessly across all 10 of the disposables MOTI sent us to review. It’s spot on in terms of responsive and the ramp-up time is super fast!

The vapor production is far better than I was expecting, with thick plumes of dense, warm vapor. It’s been a while since I vaped a standard mod & tank set-up, but I’m consistently surprised by how well these larger disposables perform in terms of vapor production.

As I mentioned earlier, the flavor the MOTI PIIN C4000 chucks out is incredible and it’s easily my favorite thing about this disposable. One of the only complaints we had with the earlier PIIN disposables was the overpowering icy kick on some of the flavors, and I’m pleased to report this is not an issue with the PIIN C4000.

All flavors are amazingly crisp and full-bodied, with complex notes and a lingering aftertaste. Flavor and vapor production are also consistently impressive right up until the final puff, which MOTI again state is the result of their new FEELM Ceramic Coil design.

Last but not least, the MOTI PIIN C4000 battery life also impressed me. I don’t usually put too much faith in the puff capacity labelling on disposables, but I do vape pretty heavily and each PIIN C4000 lasted me between 4-5 days. For comparison purposes, I used to smoke 20 cigarettes a day before switching to vaping.

Overall I’m really impressed with the MOTI PIIN C4000! The flavor, vapor production and battery life are all impressive and it’s definitely making the list of our best disposable vapes!

MOTI PIIN C4000 | Flavors

The MOTI PIIN C4000 disposable is currently available in 12 different flavors. MOTI were kind enough to send us 10 of the flavor’s available in the range, so I’ll give you my thoughts and do my best to describe each flavor in detail.

I’ll also put a full list of the available flavors at the end of this section!

Pineapple Ice

This is a mouth-watering burst of sweet, juicy pineapple with a rush of freezing cold menthol on the inhale.

Pineapple is a difficult flavor to get right in my opinion, but MOTI manage to hit the nail on the head here!

Banana Strawberry

A sweet, ripe strawberry on the inhale, with a delicious creamy banana on the exhale. I especially love the strawberry in this – it tastes like it’s been freshly picked and lingers in your mouth long after your last puff.

A personal favorite and definitely a flavor I’ll be buying again!

Spearmint

A refreshing, minty flavor with a burst of ice on the inhale and a cool aftertaste that lingers on the tongue.

Probably my least favorite flavor, purely due to personal preference.

Kiwi Guava

This one is absolutely bursting with flavor!

The kiwi is sharp and tangy, while the sweetness of the guava really comes through on the exhale.

Another personal favorite and a flavor I could happily vape all day!

Peach Ice

A delicious, juicy peach with a strong, icy freshness on the inhale.

Peach flavored disposables are a bit hit and miss for me, usually tasting too sweet or synthetic.

However, the peach here is absolutely spot on!

Cola Fizz

A sweet, tangy cola flavor with a subtle fizziness on the inhale.

The fizz in this isn’t too overpowering, which is usually the case with other disposables I’ve tried.

This tastes exactly like a mouthful of fizzy cola bottle sweets!

Grapefruit

Sweet, tart and bitter all at the same time, the grapefruit flavor is definitely an acquired taste!

This was a bit of a strange one… The first few puffs I didn’t like it at all but it sort of grew on me as I continued vaping it.

It does taste exactly like freshly cut grapefruit, but the citrusy flavor profile was just a little too much for me.

Blueberry Raspberry

Another absolutely delicious flavor, this one is a mouth-watering blend of sweet, tart blueberries and fresh raspberries.

MOTI have perfected these fruity blends and they’re absolutely bursting with flavor.

This flavor and banana strawberry were my favorites, both of which I could easily vape all day!

Grape Ice

I’ve talked about grape flavors in our earlier reviews; they’re not a flavor I usually enjoy, partly due to how synthetic and/or chemically they often taste.

It’s still not a flavor I would choose, but I will say MOTI manage to avoid this synthetic, candy taste and it’s a flavor I can comfortably vape.

Strawberry Mango

Fresh, juicy mango with sweet strawberry in a mouth-watering blend, perfect for a sweet tooth.

I kept gravitating towards this flavor in the warmer weather, or as an after-dinner vape.

I love the mango in this flavor and would be interested to see MOTI releasing a purely mango flavored disposable in future!

MOTI have really nailed it with the PIIN C4000 flavor range in my humble opinion. Personal preference aside, every flavor was crisp, clean and full-bodied, with complex notes and a perfectly balanced blend.

Below is a full list of the currently available flavors.

Strawberry Ice / Pineapple Ice / Banana Strawberry / Spearmint / Kiwi Guava / Peach Ice / Cola Fizz / Grapefruit / Blueberry Raspberry / Grape Ice / Strawberry Mango / Lush Ice

MOTI PIIN C4000 | Price

Unfortunately, the MOTI PIIN C4000 disposable isn’t going to be available in the UK or the EU due to TPD regulations.

For those of you outside of the TPD jurisdiction, at the time of writing the C4000 is only available from a small handful of online retailers.

I’m sure this will change in the future as the C4000 becomes more popular, so be sure to check back as I’ll be updating this review.

However, in the meantime vapesourcing.com offer several of the MOTI PIIN C4000 flavors for $13.99, which is a pretty reasonable price considering the lifespan and quality.

They are currently running a ‘buy 2 get the 3rd free’ and the link below will take you directly to their website.

MOTI PIIN C4000 | Verdict

Pros

  • Amazing flavor
  • Great battery life
  • Superb MTL draw
  • Responsive auto-draw
  • Excellent vapor production
  • Completely leak-proof
  • Ease of use
  • Extremely convenient

Cons

  • Only available in 50mg/ml
  • Small flavor range
  • Large size may put some off

Overall I’m really impressed with the MOTI PIIN C4000 disposable. The larger size may put some people off, but for me personally this wasn’t an issue. The flavor, vapor production and battery/e-juice life are all fantastic, especially for a disposable in this price range!

I would like to see MOTI increase the flavor range and make the C4000 available in a few different nicotine strengths, but all in all the MOTI PIIN C4000 is an excellent disposable and one I’ll definitely be buying again!

  1. My light keeps flashing ms I’ve just used it for 3 weeks with less than a thousand puffs why ?

It the battery replaceable because I read somewhere it must be due to a failing battery ?

Please advice as I haven’t got value for my money as it is , not like I even vape daily , I would like an effective response to my query

    1. Hi Ishaq,
This is a single use device (disposable) with a non rechargeable battery that holds 5ml of e-liquid. The usage of these devices lasted us around 4-5days before they either run out of e-liquid or battery charge. As with any disposable the puff count is always over stated. To achieve the 4000 puffs you would have to take a short 1 second draw to get anywhere near this figure.
Your battery has certainly run out of charge and if you’ve been using this for 3 weeks then its done really well.
I can only suggest if you are a casual vaper that doesn’t vape everyday then you should perhaps look at a pod device that is rechargeable.
