Up for review is the new MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable. From the minute you open the package and take a look at what’s on offer, you’ll quickly see that this is something that little bit special and just TOO good to be a disposable!

It’s a massive 7500 puff disposable with 14ml of e-liquid, variable airflow control, a rechargeable battery, an on/off button AND a nifty OLED display that monitors the e-liquid level and remaining battery charge.
We must point out that the MOTI Play Bar 7500 is designed for Non-TPD markets that have an unrestricted e-liquid capacity and allow for higher nicotine strength limits. TPD regions are limited to a maximum e-liquid capacity of 2ml with nicotine strengths not exceeding 20mg (2%). Therefore the MOTI Play 7500 unfortunately can’t be sold in those regions.

The MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable is very reminiscent of the MOTI Play Pod we reviewed back in November 2022, with a very similar appearance and case design. Do take a look at that review if you want to move away from disposables and delve into the world of open pod systems with replaceable coils.
We’ve reviewed many of MOTI’s disposables and pods over the last few years and have always been impressed with their functionality and performance. The MOTI Play Bar 7500 is no exception and looks to take the disposable market to the next level, something others will surely want to emulate.

We were kindly sent 8 different flavors of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposables from the guys and girls over at MOTI. We’ll include a flavor profile on these 8 disposables and highlight the other flavors that are available.
Overview of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 Disposable

The MOTI Play Bar is a 7500 puff disposable vape and is available in 20 mouth-watering flavors (there may be more!) with a total of 8 different color casings. It’s a multi-day, auto-draw activated disposable measuring 81.5mm (tall), 46mm (wide) and 18.6mm (depth) with a weight of 57 grams.
It has an internal 700mAh rechargeable battery (Type-C) and holds a massive 14ml of e-liquid with a nicotine strength of 50mg (5%).

Variable airflow control on the base of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 can be adjusted via a rotary dial to alter the restriction of the draw from a tight Mouth-To-Lung (MTL) style draw to a semi-restricted Direct-To-Lung (RDL) draw.

An On/Off button on the side of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 casing turns the disposable, yes you’ve guessed it, on and off. This is a normal function on pods and mods but not something we’ve seen on a disposable before.

Another function that sets the MOTI Play Bar 7500 apart from its competitors is the display screen that gives you a real time visible read-out of the remaining e-liquid left in the disposable and the remaining battery charge with a 0%-100% figure reading.
This display illuminates and shows the remaining charge left in the battery whenever you draw on the mouthpiece. A single press of the on/off button will show the remaining e-liquid level. When it’s being charged the display will remain illuminated showing the percentage value of the charge left in the battery.

A Type-C USB charging port on the side of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 just below the On/Off button, specified as 580mAh will fully charge the MOTI Play Bar 7500 in around 1 hour. It also has ‘pass-through’ so you can charge and vape at the same time.
An integrated 1.0 ohm mesh coil produces excellent flavor and a decent amount of vapor with the 50mg nic salts providing one hell of a throat kick, not to mention a head rush.
As you can see, it’s a disposable with a BIG difference. The display is incredible and something I’m very pleased to see included. Far too often its a bit hit and miss what how much e-liquid is remaining and the charge that’s left in the internal battery. The included display answers all those questions! BUT, in all honesty, I feel it’s just too good to be thrown away once it’s empty.

I would like to thank Donna at MOTI for sending us the MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable in 8 different flavors to review. As always this review is completely unbiased and is my honest opinion based on my findings. What’s in the Box?

The MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable comes in a multi-colored cardboard box with a lift open top measuring 97.5mm by 55.5mm by 27mm. The weight of the disposable including its packaging is approximately 65 grams.

An outer sealed cellophane wrap covers the box so you know it’s not been opened.

Each box is individually colored in the matching flavor of the included disposable. On the front of the packaging is the product name and a photo of the colored MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable together with the flavor name.
To the right of the photo are the puff count (7500 Puffs) and the nicotine strength (50mg/ml). The lower section of the box includes a standard nicotine warning.

The right hand side of the box has 5 circular icons that show; “7500 puffs”, “3600 Airflow Knob”, “Compact Body with Screen”, “Mesh Coil” and “Childlock”. As the above two photos show, some of the boxes we received have 4 icons while others have 5.

The left hand side of the box highlights “MOTI”, “Play Bar”, “7500 Puffs” and the “Flavor Name”.

On the top of the box is the flavor name while the bottom of the box has kite-mark symbols and “Made In China”.

The back of the box details;
- Specifications; Puffs: 7500, E-Liquid: 14ml, Nicotine: 50mg/ml
- Ingredients; Vegetable Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Nicotine Salts and Flavorings
- Attention; Keep away from children and pets, store at room temperature and Adult smokers only
It also covers the manufactures details, manufactured and best before dates, a barcode, a scratch to verify authentication sticker and another nicotine warning statement.

Inside the cardboard packaging is the MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable vape sealed in a polyphane sachet.

Once you tear open the sachet and remove the MOTI Play Bar 7500 there is a red silicone rubber bung inserted into the mouthpiece, a clear lift off sticker across the rotary airflow dial and a large yellow sticker covering the OLED display saying “Press the power button 5 times in a row before first use”.

Ensure you remove these before using the device.
What isn’t included is a Type-C USB charging cable or a pamphlet detailing any instructions or specifications.
MOTI Play Bar 7500 Disposable | Design and Appearance

Dimensions of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable measure 81.5mm tall (including the mouthpiece) by 46mm wide and 18.6mm deep and it weighs in at approximately 57 grams. It’s a box style disposable and constructed out of plastic, hence the light weight.

The front and reverse sides of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 look completely different and appear to be made up of two separate halves. The reverse side is plain with a semi-matte surface finish colored to match the flavor of the device. There are a total of 8 different color designs across the entire range of flavors.

We didn’t receive all of the flavors/colors to try but from the photo above you get an idea of how they look.
The front half is a completely different ball game…

As I mentioned earlier, the appearance is reminiscent of the MOTI Play Pod. It’s a very futuristic design with lots going on which is then encapsulated in an outer clear transparent casing. The surface underneath is aluminum or aluminum foil with a central jagged line and a smaller line towards the top of the front face in a different color.

In the center of the front face is a large “X” and to the left of the display is a large “01” which I found quite interesting as it changes color depending on the position I was tilting it; much like a hologram. It’s hard to describe in words everything on the front face but you can see the level of detail in the photos.
The MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable has up to 7500 puffs and contains a massive 14ml of e-liquid with a nicotine strength of 50mg (5%) Nic Salts. I don’t believe there are any other nicotine strengths available, which is a shame because I do generally prefer vaping 20mg strength.

There are a total of 20 different flavors to choose from, 8 of which we’ll cover in the Flavor section of this review.
Output power of the MOTI Play Bar 7500, although not mentioned anywhere, is 13W. This is derived from the constant output voltage of the internal control chip and the 1.0 ohm mesh coil.

Because the MOTI Play Bar 7500 is a multi-day disposable with a massive 14ml of e-liquid capable of up to 7500 puffs, it has a pretty decent 700mAh capacity rechargeable battery. A Type-C USB charging port, specified as 5V/580mA, on the side of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 will fully charge the device in approximately 1 hour.

Unlike the majority of disposable that just have an LED that lights when you draw on the mouthpiece, the Play Bar 7500 has a small OLED screen. This lights when you draw on the mouthpiece BUT will also show you in a numerical percentage value the current discharge status of the battery and the remaining e-liquid level.

It will also display the accumulative charge percentage when the MOTI Play Bar 7500 is placed on charge, so you have a current read-out of how much charge the battery is holding.
On paper this may seem a little geeky and a gimmick, but in reality this display is a fantastic addition that lets the user know exactly what the battery status is and how much e-liquid is left.

As if this wasn’t enough, there’s also an on/off rectangular button on the side of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 positioned just above the Type-C charging port that turns the device on or off. This button also doubles as a means of display the remaining e-liquid level.

On the flat base of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 is a recessed variable airflow control dial that can increase or decrease the air intake to alter the restriction of the MTL/RDL draw. This dial has a graded elongated kidney bean shaped cut-out that aligns with the fixed hole in the bottom casing.

The dial is a ¼ turn rotation but also has a tiny central pin hole in the dial so the airflow is never completely shut off. As you will notice in some of the photos, the airflow control dial is also color coded to suit the color and flavor of the device.

The mouthpiece of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 is integrated into the top section of the main body and offset to one side. It’s a duckbill style shape and made out of clear PCTG material. It measures 13mm long by 16mm wide with the oval opening in the end of the mouthpiece measuring 5mm.

Branding is quite discreet with “MOTI” and the flavor name written on the front face of the casing around the big “X” symbol in quite small lettering. The small OLED screen window towards the top right of the Play Bar has “PLAY BAR” and “7500 PUFFS” screen printed on the smoked black screen.

The only other markings are on the reverse face of the MOTI Play Bar body towards the base of the device. These are the Kite Marks and Do Not Dispose symbols etched into the casing.
MOTI Play Bar 7500 Disposable Functionality
Well this is a first…. I’ve had no need to include this section in any other disposable review we’ve done before but because it has a button, airflow control and a display, there are a few things that we should cover.
Turning On and Off

Firstly the MOTI Play Bar 7500 has an On/Off button which MOTI call a child-lock. 5 quick presses of the button turns the device on and the display screen will illuminate showing the percentage of the remaining battery charge.
5 further presses of the button will turn the device off and extinguish the display.
Airflow Control

A rotary dial on the base of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable gives the user the ability to fine tune the tightness of the draw. MOTI state it’s 3600 airflow but in real terms this rotary dial only rotates a ¼ turn (900). Fully closed gives a tight MTL style vape while fully open replicates a RDL style vape.
OLED Display

The MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable incorporates a small OLED display screen. This will show the remaining charge left in the battery and the remaining e-liquid level left in the device as a percentage figure. The read-out is in the form of two 7-segment numerical numbers with a small battery icon and water droplet next to the number.
Drawing on the mouthpiece or pressing the on/off button will illuminate the display which will stay lit for a further 5 seconds and then extinguish.
Remaining Battery Level

The OLED display will show the remaining charge left in the battery in one of two ways. When the device is initially switched on or when you draw on the mouthpiece. The display will slowly decrease in 1% increments until it reaches 0% at which point the device will need recharging.
Remaining E-Liquid Level

Every time the on/off button is pressed once, the OLED display will illuminate with the percentage value of the remaining e-liquid level. A small water droplet icon next to the numerical value lets you know it’s the e-liquid level you are looking at.
This value starts off at 100% and slowly reduces in 10% increments until it shows 0%. At that point the MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable has run out of e-liquid and can be disposed of.
MOTI Play Bar 7500 Disposable Performance
First Use

Simply take out of the packaging, remove the red silicone mouthpiece bung and clear base protector from around the rotary airflow control dial. Remove the large yellow sticker covering the OLED screen, after first reading it and observing what it says and press the on/off button 5 times on the side of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable.

The OLED screen will illuminate showing the current charge status of the battery. A small battery icon in the top left hand corner of the display will be visible together with a percentage value readout. Ideally this should read 100% but if the MOTI Play Bar 7500 has started to discharge this value may be lower.

Press the on/off button once and the display will change showing a “water droplet” in the bottom left hand corner of the display with a percentage value readout showing the remaining e-liquid level. This should initially equal 100% and will slowly decrease in the following days as the e-liquid level reduces.

Airflow
Moving the airflow rotary dial on the base of the MOTI Play Bar 7500 adjusts the tightness of your draw. Airflow open increases the airflow and will produce an airy MTL draw. Closing the airflow restricts the airflow and tightens the MTL draw.

I did find that the restriction of the rotary dial is a little on the loose side so it can inadvertently move if it’s placed in a pocket or handbag.
Also, on a couple of the Play Bars we tested, with the airflow dial completely closed, the draw was not fully restricted. This turned out to be a looser dial so the airflow was able to feed under the dial.
It wasn’t a problem because if you want a very tight draw, you can place your finger over the dial which closes the very small center pin hole in the dial.
Auto Draw

Irrespective of the airflow control dial position the draw was very smooth and very quiet, with no gurgling or spitting. The auto draw worked faultlessly and even the slightest of draws on the mouthpiece activated the auto draw and illuminated the display.
I found because of the 50mg nicotine strength (I don’t normally exceed 20mg), my draw was limited to a very quick 1 second puff which worked wonders with the puff count and battery life.
Flavor and Vapor
Out of the 8 different flavors we tried (more on this in the Flavor section), each one came through as true to form against its name. The flavors were really nice, very tasty without being too overpowering or too sweet.

I didn’t find any of the flavors overly sweet which I was very pleased to see and if there was any coolant added it was very minor and mostly undetectable. I found after hours of vaping my throat was a little sensitive which I normally associate with an ice additive, but I believe this was due to the increased 50mg nicotine strength.
Vapor was pretty good, not dense but more than adequate. Considering I was only drawing for a short 1 second burst each time then it was more than enough. I did take a few longer draws and the vapor became much more dense, but my poor throat suffered with the nicotine kick.
Puff Count
Puff count is always difficult to verify and depends of the length and frequency of your draws (puffs). I normally use a mechanical clicker to determine how many puffs I get from each disposable but in this case (7500 puffs) it was a tall order.
Often I didn’t always have the clicker to hand or when I did I forgot to press it after each draw so it made an accurate count very difficult. I decided to monitor a single day’s use and record the puff count for that day. Then I could multiply that figure by the number of days I got out of the MOTI Play Bar 7500.
My puff count over the 1 day’s vaping for a 1 second draw was 580. Each MOTI Play Bar on average lasted me between 13-14 days of vaping before it ran out of juice, therefore this equates to between 7540 and 8120 puffs.
In summary I can say that the 7500 puff count is very accurate. Obviously as I pointed out earlier this is subjective and if you take a longer draw the puff count will go down. Equally if you average less than 580 puffs a day then the MOTI Play Bar 7500 is likely to last longer than the 13-14 days I achieved.
Battery Life

With the 700mAh battery fully charged, I was achieving an INCREDIBLE 2-3 days on a single charge with quite heavy vaping. I’m guessing because of the higher strength nic salts and my very short draws this improved battery life no end.
With that being said, I’m still surprised it lasted so long. What was an absolute pleasure for me was knowing exactly the status of the battery and e-liquid level at any given point.
I checked the e-liquid level showing on the display over one full discharge cycle of the battery and I had used 30% of the e-liquid.
The intensity of the draw remained the same throughout the discharge cycle of the battery even up to the point just before the battery cut-out.
On average I recharged the battery 5 times during the life of the disposable with no issues at all.
We’ve included a section on “Charging the MOTI Play Bar 7500” later on in this review.
Lastly, and probably the question on most people’s lips….well two questions actually. Does it leak? And would you buy another one?

Simple to answer… It didn’t leak at all, and yes I would gladly purchase more of these. For me, where these come into their own is taking them out for the whole day on outings. Knowing the battery will last the whole day and evening, even a weekend is a must.
MOTI Play Bar 7500 Disposable Flavors

MOTI were kind enough to send us 8 different flavors to try out of the available 20 in the range. It was difficult to pinpoint exactly what flavors were available but I think I’ve managed to capture all of them.
If anyone finds additional flavors that I’ve not included in this list then please let me know and I can add them.
- Tropical Rainbow Blast *
- California Cherry
- Cantaloupe Apple
- Strawberry Banana
- Rainbow Cloudz *
- Pink Bomb *
- Cool Mint *
- Miami Mint
- Blue Razz Ice

- Lush Ice
- Watermelon Bubblegum *
- Blueberry Peach Gummy
- Pink Lemonade
- Cherry Lemonade
- Pomelo Pearl Grape *
* The flavors with an asterisk against them are the ones we received.
Also within the 20 available flavors, there are 8 different case colors that MOTI have matched with the flavors to further enhance the individuality and user experience…..their words not mine!
- Multi-Color
- Silvery
- Rose Gold
- Green
- Purple
- Golden
- Blue
- White
I’ve given a brief description against each of the flavors we received and what our thoughts were. Obviously this is very subjective as we all have different tastes.
Pink Bomb:

Wow! Get one. If you like berries you will absolutely love this one.
There is so much going on in this tiny package, it’s so moorish. I gave up trying to work out any individual flavor tones. Just sit back, shut your eyes and enjoy, it’s really nice.
Tropical Rainbow Blast:

An absolute explosion of exotic tropical fruits. The combination of different fruits in this one made it difficult to pick out any individual tones but I can say the overall mix was really lovely.
Slightly sweet, slightly tart and incredibly yummy. Definitely one that leaves you wanting more.
Watermelon Bubblegum:

A truly mouth-watering watermelon with an unusual aftertaste of bubblegum. This one definitely confused me as it was like biting into a watermelon on the beach yet at the same time took me back to my childhood days of chewing on bubblegum.
Another really enjoyable flavor, one that cries out to be vaped on.
Rainbow Cloudz:

It’s a mouthful of Skittles! Multiple flavors of cotton candy. Another truly wonderful full bodied combination of flavors. One of my personal favorites and a truly all-day vape!
Pomelo Pearl Grape:

It’s a delicious grape flavor and a really nice one at that! It lingers in the mouth but the initial inhale really surprised me. I’m unsure what it is but if I have to say it reminds me of Parma violets.
I really like this one! It’s a very refreshing vape with a slightly sweet and cool aftertaste.
Blueberry Raspberry:

A prominent raspberry flavor with a delicate undertone of blueberry. A delicious sweet and slightly tart combination of berries that explodes in your mouth.
I found the raspberry was the overriding flavor on this one which left that lingering sweetness on your lips, with a sour aftertaste on the exhale.
Although I really liked this flavor, after a few hours of vaping I got the urge to switch to another flavor to shock my tastebuds with another delightful flavor.
Sour Apple Peach:

Exactly what it says on the packet! On the inhale you get that sharp, fresh, sour taste of a delicious crunchy green apple. This is soon followed with lingering after tones of a juicy, sweet, ripe peach.
Sometimes the peach came through first on the draw which then transformed in the crispness of the apple. A fantastic combination of the two flavors that kept bringing me back for more.
Cool Mint:

Quite simply put this is a very nice refreshing minty taste! It’s difficult to pinpoint the exact type of mint but I’m not getting spearmint, peppermint or eucalyptus. Instead it’s a good old fashioned green leaf mint flavor.
It leaves a coolness and freshness in the mouth without having that burning sensation in the back of your throat. It also leaves a very subtle sweetness on the lips. This one is perfect for when you want to swap around your flavors and give your taste buds a break.
Flavor Summary

Of all the 8 different flavors we tried, each one seemed very smooth, very flavorsome, not too sweet and really enjoyable. I was very pleased that none of the flavors had any ice additives, although if they did it was very subtle.
Some of the combined flavors were very interesting and really did work well and compliment each other. There wasn’t a single flavor that I didn’t like. I honestly would vape any of these flavors all day long.
Charging the MOTI Play Bar 7500 Disposable
Firstly the MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable doesn’t come with a Type-C charging cable. In order to charge the device you’ll require a suitable charging cable. Most mobile phones, tablets or existing pods/mods charging cables will suffice as long as they have the Type-C connection.
During use, once the OLED screen remaining battery level reaches 0%, the small battery icon and the percentage symbol will start flashing. You will no longer be able to vape and will have to recharge the battery.

Plug the charging cable into the Type-C USB port on the top side edge of the MOTI Play Bar. Connect the other end into a suitable power source (typically 5V/1A) or higher. For reference, the charging circuit on the Play Bar 7500 is specified as 5V/580mAh.

When placed on charge the OLED screen will illuminate, the battery and percentage icons will flash and the numerical display will start to increment. The display does remain illuminated throughout the charging cycle slowly counting upwards.

When full charge is achieved after approximately 1 hour, the display will show 100% and the battery and percentage icons will stop flashing. After a further 2 minutes the display screen will extinguish at which point you can remove the power source.
I timed the charge cycle from 0% to 100% charge and it took 65 minutes so is pretty accurate on that front too.
The MOTI Play Bar 7500 does have pass-through allowing you to charge and vape at the same time.
While the MOTI Play Bar 7500 is being charged, it does remain cool to the touch but I would still recommend to ONLY charge the device on a non-flammable surface.
As with any vape device, NEVER leave it unattended whilst charging.
MOTI Play Bar 7500 Disposable Price

We’ve scoured the internet looking at many sites that are currently selling the MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposable and the vendor price ranges between $14 to $20.
Considering the superior function with the OLED display, coupled with the puff count and incredible flavors, this price for 2-3 weeks vaping, more if you’re not a heavy vaper, is well worth the money.

MOTI Play Bar 7500 Disposable Summary
It’s not often that I’m left speechless or lost for words, especially when writing about my favorite subject…..VAPING! I was expecting a run-of-the-mill disposable experience but having spent a few weeks using the MOTI Play Bar 7500 disposables I’m left dumbfounded.

Flavor and performance wise I couldn’t fault them. Auto-draw activation worked every time and the draw was very smooth and quiet. The battery life between charges is exceptional. Variable airflow worked a treat. You can switch it on and off, charging is pretty quick and it has pass-through. As for the display….well what more can I say!

Being able to monitor the status of the battery and the remaining e-liquid level percentages is a MASSIVE step in the right direction. It’s definitely NOT a gimmick, it’s very accurate and something I would love to see on every disposable device.
14ml of mouth-watering flavors with 20 different flavors to choose from, a 7500 puff count and an exceptional design…..what’s not to like!
As I mentioned at the beginning of this review, the MOTO Play Bar 7500 really is too good to be a disposable.
