Welcome to our review of the Mr Fog Switch disposable vape, the newest release (and largest disposable to date) from the popular Mr Fog vape brand.
Based in Alberta, Canada, the Mr Fog vape brand was launched back in 2018 at the start of the disposable vape boom. In the years since, they’ve released several highly popular disposable vapes and amassed a loyal following in the vape community, especially in the overseas market.
I’m ashamed to say I’ve never actually tried a Mr Fog disposable vape, but the Switch has exploded onto the scene with such overwhelmingly positive reviews and I’m curious to see what I’ve been missing!
With a massive 15ml of e-juice, the Mr Fog Switch is a multi-day disposable, with a 5,500 puff capacity and a 650mAh rechargeable battery. On top of that, it features adjustable airflow and a huge flavor range, with a total of thirty flavors!
It’s also available in 20mg (2%) or 50mg (5%) nicotine strength, potentially making it a great option if you’re looking to ditch a heavy smoking habit.
If you’re new to vaping, the Mr Fog Switch is a disposable device, which means you puff until you run out of e-juice and then just throw it away and open a new one.
The Mr Fog Switch is also auto-draw, which means you simply inhale on the mouthpiece to activate the coil and take a puff. Perfect if you’re looking for a convenient, easy to use device you can just pick up and vape.

What’s in the Box?
The Mr Fog Switch disposable packaging is bright, colorful and covered in all the relevant info you’re likely to need.
The rectangular shaped, cardboard box or ‘sleeve’ is color coded to match the flavor of the disposable inside, and the flavor name is clearly printed on the front.
Also on the front of the packaging, you’ll find the nicotine strength, e-juice capacity, a picture of the Mr Fog Switch disposable and the usual nicotine warning.
On either side of the box there’s extra information printed, including the batch and license code, the Mr Fog social media handles and a nifty little QR code you can scan to confirm the disposable is authentic.
Finally, on the back of the box you can find a list of ingredients, more nicotine warnings and the manufacturer contact details.
The only thing missing is the PG/VG ratio, which I’ve grumbled about before with almost every other disposable we’ve tested.
It’s not a deal-breaker, but if you suffer with any form of PG intolerance like I do, it would be nice to know what PG/VG ratio they’ve used in their e-juice.
Overall though, I really like the packaging. It’s bright, bold and colorful, with most of the information you’re ever likely to need clearly displayed.
Inside the cardboard box or ‘sleeve’ is a white USB charging cable and a black foil wrapper protecting the disposable.
The wrapper has the Mr Fog branding on it, as well as the e-juice capacity, nicotine strength and another nicotine warning.
Once you’ve torn open the wrapper and removed the Mr Fog Switch disposable, just peel off the sticker at the base, covering the airflow hole …
… and remove the silicone plug from the mouthpiece.
The Mr Fog Switch comes fully charged and ready to vape, so once you’ve removed the sticker and silicone plug you’re all good to go.
Mr Fog Switch | Design and Appearance
Spoiler alert – There’s very little I don’t like about the design and appearance of the Mr Fog Switch!
First of all, it’s incredibly compact and lightweight for a multi-day disposable, measuring just 77mm in height, 47.5mm in width and 24.5mm in depth. It’s one of the smallest rechargeable disposables we’ve tested, and I’m genuinely surprised they managed to fit 15ml of e-juice and a 650mAh battery into such a compact design!
It’s also pretty light, weighing in at 56g. Perfect if you want a disposable with a high puff capacity but don’t want to carry something bulky or heavy in your pocket or bag.
As you can see from the pictures, the Mr Fog Switch is a rectangular shaped disposable with rounded edges and a protruding mouthpiece. The body of the disposable is made from a smooth PCTG, with minimal branding – just the disposable name and flavor are printed on the device.
The mouthpiece at the top of the disposable is made from a somewhat softer, flexible plastic (TPU according to the Mr Fog website) and it’s super comfortable to vape on.
In terms of overall shape and size, the Switch is actually very similar to the OXBAR G8000 and Orion Bar 7500 disposables we reviewed recently – also excellent disposables and highly recommended! The Switch is actually even more compact than those disposables, as it holds slightly less e-juice.
However with 15ml of e-juice, the Fog Switch still boasts an impressive 5,500 puff capacity – by no means shabby!
One half of the body is white, from the bottom of the Mr Fog Switch right up to the base of the mouthpiece, while the other half is colored to match the flavor of the disposable.
It’s a quirky design and the smooth, almost glossy finish and rounded edging make the Switch disposable extremely comfortable to hold.
The design actually reminds me of the MOTI Box R7000, with the two ‘halves’ – one white and the other a solid, bright color. It’s purely aesthetic here though, whereas the white section on the R7000 was a replaceable, pre-filled ‘pod’ of sorts and actually detached from the battery section.
Overall, in terms of aesthetics I think Mr Fog have absolutely nailed it with the Switch …
It’s bright and colorful without being overly cartoonish or childish. I work in a busy office environment and didn’t feel at all awkward having the Switch sat on my desk.
Especially the Rainbow Blast flavor, which has a really sleek looking black and white color design. It doesn’t hurt that it’s an absolutely delicious flavor either!
The Mr Fog Switch is auto-draw, which means you just puff on the mouthpiece to activate the coil. There’s no controls or buttons to worry about and the auto-draw worked flawlessly across all six of the disposables they sent us.
At the base of the Switch disposable you’ll find the LED puff indicator, which lights up whenever you take a puff. The LED also flashes several times when you’re out of e-juice and/or battery, so you know exactly when it’s time to pop it on charge.
The USB charging port is on the lower right facing side of the Switch (on the colored side) and the Switch comes with a small Type-C USB charging cable.
Charging is easy – just plug one end of the cable into a suitable charging outlet and the other into the Switch. Charging time is also pretty decent – expect to wait about an hour for a full charge.
The LED will stay on until the Switch is fully charged, at which point the LED will turn off. As if there isn’t already enough to love about the Switch, it also allows for pass-through vaping, which means you can carry on vaping while it’s being charged.
However, by far the most impressive design feature is the variable airflow, controlled via a small wheel on the reverse of the Switch.
In recent months, we’re seeing more and more disposables with variable airflow and it’s a trend I can definitely get behind!
The airflow wheel turns both clockwise and anti-clockwise, allowing you to vary the kind of draw you can get on the Mr Fog Switch.
Fully closed, you can get an extremely tight MTL (mouth-to-lung) draw that replicates the feel of smoking a traditional cigarette. Ideal if you’ve recently quit or are thinking of making the switch (pun intended).
Fully open, you actually get a pretty decent RDTL (restricted direct-to-lung) draw. It’s not as airy as a typical RDA but if you like a DTL draw you won’t be disappointed.
The only minor design hiccup I found when using the Mr Fog Switch was the actual placement of the adjustable airflow wheel. If you’re holding the Switch with your fingers wrapped around the body, you’ll occasionally obstruct the airflow hole, which will restrict your draw.
This happened to me several times before I changed the way I held the Switch, which in fairness did resolve the problem.
It’s not a major issue at all though, and overall I really like the Mr Fog Switch! The design and build quality are fantastic, it’s comfortable to hold (and vape!) and the fact you can adjust the airflow is just the icing on the cake!
Mr Fog Switch | Performance
In terms of performance, things get even more impressive.
As previously mentioned, the auto-draw function worked flawlessly across all six of the Switch disposables Mr Fog sent us. The ramp-up time is fast and the auto-draw was responsive every single time I took a puff. Zero mis-firing and no issues with delayed or intermittent draw.
The adjustable airflow is a thing of beauty, with the possible aforementioned exception of the control placement … However, adjustable airflow is a feature that’s sorely missing on the majority of disposables and I love the fact Mr Fog have included it on the Switch.
Personally, I found my sweet-spot was roughly in the middle, between fully-open and fully-closed. I like a fairly tight MTL draw – not too tight, but something akin to smoking a cigarette and for that, the halfway open airflow on the Switch is perfect.
The Mr Fog Switch also ticks all the right boxes in terms of nicotine delivery and throat hit. I’ve been testing the 20mg nicotine strength and each puff provides a really satisfying throat kick, without being too harsh.
The Switch is also available in a 50mg option, which I can imagine is perfect if you’re coming off a heavy smoking habit. I can’t say much about these, but please drop me a comment at the bottom of this post if you’ve tried the 50mg Switch!
Now on to the really important stuff …
Battery life and longevity are both impressive and far better than I’d been expecting. I vape heavily throughout the day and yet the Mr Fog Switch just seemed to last forever!
A full charge of the 650mAh battery gave me around a day of vaping before needing a recharge, perfect if you’re heading out for the day and don’t want to worry about taking a spare vape or the charging cable.
Even more impressive though is the overall lifespan of the Mr Fog Switch disposable. It’s billed as providing up to 5,500 puffs and each of the six flavors Mr Fog sent us lasted between 5,462 and 5,614 puffs, almost perfectly within the stated range.
For me personally, this translated to around 8 full days of vaping on a single Mr Fog Switch!
Just keep in mind this is based on heavy use, whereas a light or casual vaper will get significantly longer out of each Switch. For example, if we assume you’re awake from 8am – 10pm, that’s 14 hours of vaping. Let’s say you take 20 puffs an hour, that’s 280 puffs a day – meaning the Switch could last around 19 days!
While 20 puffs an hour is nowhere near enough for me, if you’re a casual vaper that might be plenty for you.
Vapor production is also fantastic, with even a short puff kicking out a thick plume of the white, fluffy stuff. To be clear, as with any disposable, you won’t be filling up a room with it but it’s far better than the vapor output you can expect with the cheaper, smaller disposables.
In fact I’d say the vapor production is better than the majority of the disposables I’ve bought in the past! If you can’t tell already, I’m blown away by the Mr Fog Switch – It’s easily one of the best disposables I’ve ever reviewed and I highly recommend it!
However in terms of performance, the absolute standout feature for me is the flavor the Mr Fog Switch kicks out! I feel like a broken record here, as I’m consistently surprised by the flavor on offer with these higher puff capacity disposables, but it seems to get better with each new release!
With the Switch disposable, the flavors are all full-bodied, dense and absolutely bursting with flavor. The flavor recipes all seem to be deliciously complex and perfectly blended, with a lingering aftertaste long after your last puff.
Overall I’m nothing short of amazed at how well the Mr Fog Switch performs. The battery life and longevity are fantastic, the vapor production is well above-average and the flavor output is seriously impressive.

As you can see, the flavor range is almost endless and the fruity flavor-chasers are well catered for!
I’ll be honest, it would have been nice to see a tobacco blend in the flavor range, or perhaps more dessert type offerings. But the sheer volume of flavors available more than makes up for it in my opinion.
Mr Fog were kind enough to send us six of their newly released flavors to test, so I’ll do my best to describe the flavors below and my personal thoughts on each.
Magic Cotton Blueberry
The Magic Cotton Blueberry is a delicious blend of sharp, ripe blueberries and sweet, sugary cotton candy!
The contrast of the sharp, almost sour blueberries and the sweetness of the cotton candy combined, make for a really unique and mouth-watering flavor.
This is the perfect flavor for a hot Summer’s day and/or to satisfy a sweet tooth!
I really enjoyed this flavor and it’s definitely one I’ll be revisiting again in the future.
Mr Pepper
The Mr Pepper flavor is exactly as you’d expect and perfectly captures the iconic taste of the popular drink it’s inspired by!
It’s a burst of fizzy cherry, vanilla and slight spicy undertones – expertly blended in an absolutely delicious recipe.
Mr Fog have done a fantastic job with this flavor and it tastes exactly like you’re enjoying an ice-cold glass of Dr Pepper!
Definitely an all-day vape for me – I found it hard to put this one down!
Cherry Hype
This was probably my least favorite flavor of the six Mr Fog Switch disposables I tried.
It’s a blend of ripe, tart cherries in a mix that manages to be both sweet and sour at the same time.
Not a bad flavor by any means, but I’m generally not a fan of single-note flavors or the cherry flavor note in e-juice, so for obvious reasons this one wasn’t really my cup of tea!
However, I will say it was still a flavor I could vape comfortably in a tight-spot, which says a lot about the quality of the e-juice and the care that Mr Fog have put into these flavors!
Rainbow Skittles
This flavor is an absolute beast!
Each and every puff is a mouth-watering fruity cocktail, with a deliciously complex blend of flavor notes that absolutely explodes in your mouth!
If you’ve ever tried the popular candy this flavor is named after, you’ll know exactly what flavor notes to expect – strawberry, lime, blackcurrant, pineapple to name just a few.
This was easily an all-day vape for me and definitely a flavor I’ll be coming back to!
Strawnana
Writing this, it’s so hard to pick a favorite out of the six Mr Fog Switch disposables I tried!
The Strawnana is a mix of sweet, fresh strawberries with creamy, ripe banana and it’s another absolutely delicious flavor.
It’s a popular flavor among disposable manufacturers but Mr Fog have absolutely nailed this one. It tastes exactly like a mouthful of freshly picked strawberries and bananas!
Possibly my favorite of the six flavors!
Rainbow Blast
Another absolute beast of a flavor, the Rainbow Blast is a tropical explosion of fruity flavor notes, perfect for the hot weather.
I’m picking up a strong note of fresh, juicy pineapple on the inhale, with a delicious fruity cocktail on the exhale!
This is another flavor I found really hard to put down – It’s refreshing, sweet and bursting with flavor.
Definitely a flavor I’ll be looking to buy again in the future.
Overall I really couldn’t be more impressed with the flavors Mr Fog have put together. They’re all well-blended, complex and absolutely bursting with flavor!
On top of that, they’re all natural tasting, with none of the usual synthetic, chemical notes all too often detectable in other disposables on the market!
Mr Fog Switch | Price
At the time of writing, the majority of the Google results for the Mr Fog Switch disposable are Canadian vendors, which makes sense as Mr Fog are based in Canada.
However, after a bit of digging I actually managed to find the Mr Fog Switch for $14.99! Full disclaimer – I’ve never purchased from them before so can’t comment on their customer service, but the link above will take you to Element Vape if you want to take advantage of this extremely low price while it lasts!
Buying direct from the Mr Fog website, you can pick up the Switch for C$26.95 which is approximately US$20. Considering the quality and performance packed into the Mr Fog Switch, this is a fantastic price and far lower than I expected the Switch to retail for!
In terms of cost, I’ve mentioned this before but I don’t usually rely on a disposable as my sole daily vape device as the cost can quickly mount up. Instead I try to think of them as a treat or something I can use as a back-up to my standard box-mod and tank setup.

If you got this far, it will come as no surprise to hear I freaking love the Mr Fog Switch disposable!
The battery life, longevity, vapor production and price are all amazing and it’s genuinely hard to find a single significant flaw with this disposable!
The placement of the adjustable airflow could be considered a design flaw, but even that was easily solved by slightly changing the way I held the Mr Fog Switch.
By far the best aspect of the Switch disposable for me though, was the flavor! The range is huge and the flavors were all dense, well-blended and delicious.
If you’re after a multi-day disposable that does everything right at a reasonable price, the Mr Fog Switch might be just the disposable you’re looking for.
