Nevoks continue to release exceptional pod kits and the latest one to emerge, their Feelin AX is no exception. We’ve spent the last few weeks putting the Nevoks Feelin AX through its paces and you’ll see from our review the results speak for themselves.

Over the last year or so we’ve reviewed the Feelin X, the Feelin A1 (which introduced us to their A1 pods) and the Feelin 2. Each one of these kits was a pleasure to use and impressed us with their design, quality and performance.

Fast forward to the Feelin AX and Nevoks have pulled it out the bag again. While resembling the shape of the Feeling A1 kit and continuing to use the A1 pod platform, the Feelin AX includes an OLED display similar to that we saw on the Feelin X kit.

As always, we will give a quick overview of the main functions of the Nevoks Feelin AX kit and then jump into the main body of the review where we fully cover the design, functionality and performance.

Overview of the Feelin AX Pod Kit

The Nevoks Feelin AX is a Mouth-To-Lung (MTL) and Restricted Direct-To-Lung (RDL) pod device (it does do DTL too), powered by an internal 1500mAh rechargeable battery with variable wattage control ranging from 5W – 30W. A smart coil detect function automatically sets the optimum wattage for each pod and limits the maximum wattage that can be selected for each pod type.

Two A1 pods (0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm) are included in the kit and Nevoks also have additional 0.4 ohm and 1.2 ohm A1 pods that can be purchased separately. These range of pods have a 2ml/3ml e-liquid capacity with integrated Mesh coils and are refillable.

The Feeling AX features auto-draw and a firing button, and a variable airflow control lever on the side of the device does an excellent job in fine tuning your draw. A single color 0.5 inch OLED display provides all the user information in terms of battery status, wattage level, pod resistance and puff count.

Charging the Feelin AX is carried out using the supplied charging cable and connecting via the side of the Feelin AX Type-C USB charging port, specified as 5V/2A. Charging time is pretty quick taking approximately 45 minutes to fully charge the battery.

The A1 pods have a duck bill style mouthpiece and are magnetically secured to the Feelin AX body. They are made out of semi-opaque tinted PCTG material and come in two e-liquid capacities; a 3ml side filling version and a 2ml top fill TPD version.

Its design and shape takes the form of a tall slim rectangular (pen style) device with a smooth semi-matt surface finish. The overall height of the Feelin AX is 120mm with a weight of 57 grams making this very lightweight and portable.

Note 1: The output wattage is dependent on the resistance of the fitted pod. The Feelin AX will auto detect the resistance of the coil/pod and limit the maximum wattage that can be applied to that particular pod.

Note 2: The specified Vape Cut-Off is 10 seconds but in practice the vape time reading on the OLED display only reaches 7 seconds before the “Timeout” prompt is highlighted.

Packaging

The packaging is different to that which we normally see and works really well. Instead of a lift off lid or slide out draw, half of the box is hinged and opens with the Feelin AX device in the bottom tray section and the spares in a pull out box that’s fitted in the top hinged section.

Overall dimensions of the packaging measure 126mm high by 46mm width and 40mm deep and is colored plain white with details of the included device together with its contents.

On the front of the box an embossed photo shows the color of the Feelin AX device that’s inside with the wording “X Nevoks” and “Feelin AX”.

The right side of the packaging highlights the product name again “FEELIN AX” and the main features; “30W Max Power”, “Smart OLED Screen”, “1500mAh” and “Adjustable Airflow”. On the reverse side of the box are the manufacturer’s details, a list of the included contents, a scratch off authentication sticker and a bar code that includes the color of the device.

The lift out cardboard box in the hinged lid section contains the user manual, A1 pod platform card, the two A1 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm pods and the charging cable.

Preparing to Use the Nevoks Feelin AX


The Feelin AX comes supplied fully charged and doesn’t have either of the two pods fitted. The two included 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm pods are sealed in cellophane wrappers in the cardboard box in the lid section.

Power up the Feelin AX by pressing the fire button 5 times in quick succession and check the battery icon on the display is full (5 white bars). If it’s showing less than 5 white bars I would charge the device before you first use it.

Fill the A1 pod with e-liquid

Remove one of the pods from the cellophane wrapper and fill the pod with your e-liquid through the fill port (side fill for 3ml and top fill for 2ml pods). Leave the pod to stand for approximately 10-15 minutes to give time for the e-liquid to saturate the wick in the coil before using.

With the Feelin AX switched on, insert your pod into the pod recess. The OLED screen will initially display “MEASURE” with the pod resistance underneath and then switch back to the main display. This is the smart coil detection working and sets the optimum wattage for the pod you’ve fitted.

When first using a new pod, I usually lower the wattage to its minimum value, take a few draws then increase the wattage each time between draws until I reach my sweet spot to slowly bed the new coil/pod in. Alternatively you can go with the optimum wattage that’s set by the Feelin AX.

Nevoks Feelin AX Pod Kit Design and Appearance

Feelin AX Body/Battery

The Feelin AX is a pen style (flattened tube shape) device constructed out of Aluminium Alloy, measuring 100mm tall (120mm including the pod) by 24.1mm wide and 16.4mm deep. It’s reasonably tall but compact and very lightweight, weighing in at only 57 grams.

It’s a variable wattage pod device with a power output of 5W to 30W, adjustable in 1W steps. There are no + or – control buttons as everything is adjusted using the round circular fire button which we’ve covered in greater detail in the Functionality section of this review. It also boasts smart coil detection which recognizes the resistance of the pod that’s fitted, auto selects the optimum wattage and limits the maximum wattage that can be applied to the coil/pod.

Feelin AX on charge

An internal 1500mAh battery powers the Feelin AX and is rechargeable using the supplied charging cable once it’s connected into the Type-C USB port on the side of the Feelin AX which is specified as 5V/2A. Charging time is very quick, taking approximately 45 minutes and it also has ‘pass-thru’ so you can vape while it’s being charged.

Two methods of firing the Feelin AX are available; either auto draw or using the circular fire button positioned within the smoked black rectangular face on the front of the Feelin AX casing just below the OLED display. The fire button can be locked so only the auto draw will function which is a great addition, especially if you keep this in your pocket or handbag.

The 0.5 inch single color (white) OLED display is bright and clear to read and displays all the major operating settings including:

Variable airflow control is carried out by a slider lever on the opposite side edge to the USB charging port which is only very slightly raised above the surface of the panel. The movement of this slider is quite restrictive so won’t inadvertently move on its own and has a very positive feel to it. Mouth To Lung (MTL), Restricted Direct To Lung (RDL) and Direct To Lung (DTL) vaping styles are achieved by the combination of the airflow slider and the type of pod (pod resistance) you’re using.

Restricting the airflow is performed by moving the slider upwards towards the top of the Feelin AX and opening the airflow by moving the slider downwards. The slider has a total of 4 holes in the moveable plate; 3 visible when the airflow is fully open and 1 hole visible when the airflow is closed.

The overall shape of the Feelin AX is an elongated rectangular flattened tube design with concave edges to each side ending with a thin flat edge that houses the airflow control lever and USB-C charging port. The bottom is flat so will stand upright when placed on a level surface.

At the top of the Feelin AX is a deep (20mm) pod recess. It’s oval shaped so the pod can be fitted either way round. In the pod recess are 2 small rectangular magnets that keep the pod in place when it’s fitted, 2 gold plated spring loaded coil contact pins and an auto draw control sensor that’s fitted in the airflow chamber.

Nevoks branding is fairly discrete and kept to a minimum with their name “Nevoks” screen printed on the lower section of the body below the fire button and “Feelin AX” screen printed on the other side. The usual CE markings and the “1500mAh” battery capacity is printed on the flat base of the Feelin AX body.

With regards to safety features, the on-board chip provides the following levels of protection:

  • Overtime:- 10 seconds cut-off (7 seconds timed)
  • No Load (o/c):- No pod detected (>3.5 ohms)
  • Overcharge:- Cuts off at 100% charge
  • Over Discharge:- Device will shut down
  • Over Temperature: >85oC
  • Short-Circuit: S/C or Low resistance detected (<0.25 ohms)
  • Low Voltage:- Below 3.3V
  • Over Voltage

The aluminium alloy frame is colored with a semi-matte, slightly metallic finish. The two colors we received were Lavender Violet and Midnight Black which we’ve shown throughout this review. On the Lavender Violet Feelin AX the color is slightly graded from dark at the bottom to a lighter shade at the top. Some of the other colors in the range have this effect too.

Overall, the Nevoks Feelin AX feels solid, robust and well built. It’s pretty compact despite being quite long, very lightweight and feels comfortable to hold. The fire button feels positive; the airflow slider works really well, has a decent capacity internal battery with fast charging and 30W max variable wattage with smart coil detect.

The Nevoks Feelin A1 pods have a 2ml (TPD) or 3ml (standard) e-liquid capacity and are constructed out of semi-opaque tinted PCTG material. The 2ml version is a top fill which is concealed under a removable mouthpiece and the 3ml version has a side-fill e-liquid port with the duckbill mouthpiece being fixed.

Apart from this, they are identical. The ones we received in the kit were the 3ml side-fill variants but we have used the 2ml pods before when we reviewed the Feelin A1 Pod Kit last year so will show the differences between the two variants.

The A1 Pod platform range consists of 4 different resistances; 0.4 ohm, 0.6 ohm, 0.8 ohm and 1.2 ohm and cater for DTL through to MTL vaping styles.

Its dimensions are 40mm tall (20mm when fitted) by 21mm wide and 13.4mm deep. The duckbill shaped mouthpiece on the 3ml variant is integrated into the pod casing whereas the mouthpiece on the 2ml variant has to be removed to gain access to the filling port.

At its tip, the mouthpiece is 17mm wide by 7mm deep tapering down to a 7.5mm oval opening that leads down to an internal circular chimney and onto the top of the coil.

Even though you have to remove the 3ml side-fill pod to fill, I would suggest doing the same on the 2ml top-fill pod so not to put undue pressure on the pod recess of the Feelin AX when trying to remove the mouthpiece.

The fill ports on both variants are concealed by a black silicone rubber flap. This silicone rubber flap has an arrow indented into it showing which end has to be lifted away to release the rubber bung that seals the filling port. The other end of the rubber flap has a little circle indent which shows this is the end that remains attached to the pod by a small rubber spike so it won’t get misplaced.

Once the rubber filling port flap is opened, the e-liquid fill port is a pretty decent size semi-oval opening measuring 5.25mm so is big enough to accept short stubby e-liquid tip bottles.

On the 2ml top fill version, the black silicone rubber mat has an exposed center hole which is the coil chimney opening, DO NOT put e-liquid down this hole when filling.

On the bottom of the pod are 2 small rectangular magnets that secure the pod and two circular coil contact plates that align with the corresponding connections in the Feelin AX pod recess. There are also 4 open holes that provide the air intake.

As we’ve mentioned earlier, the coil is integrated into the pod therefore is NOT replaceable. Once the coil has degraded and become unusable, the pod is disposed of and a new one fitted.

Inserting the pod is straight-forward enough, simply offer the bottom of the pod into the top recess of the Feelin AX body and it will slide into this recess and be locked into place by the two bar magnets. When the pod is inserted the OLED display will illuminate with “MEASURE” and the pod “Resistance” then set the optimum wattage for that particular pod.

Removing the pod is carried out by grasping the pod body and lifting away from the Feelin AX body.

Identification on these pods has “Nevoks A1” and the coil/pod resistance on one side printed onto the pod and a “Min” e-liquid level marker on both sides of the pod.

The wicking ports on the coil are reasonably small so I would recommend using a 50PG/50VG ratio e-liquid although I have used a 30PG/70VG e-liquid through the pods with no problems.

Nevoks Feeling AX Functionality


The Feelin AX is a variable wattage pod device operating between 5W – 30W and adjustable in 1W increments. It also has “Smart” coil detect so will measure the resistance of the fitted pod and auto set the optimum wattage.

In addition to this, the maximum selected wattage for any pod type is restricted to the maximum operating wattage for the particular pod type to protect the user from applying excessive wattage to the pod.

We’ve included the following table stating the operating wattage and optimum auto-set wattage for each pod type:

Unlike conventional devices, there are no + and – wattage control buttons, instead everything is controlled and adjusted using the fire button. A quick start guide of the fire button operations are as follows:

  • Fire button pressed 5 times turns the device on or off
  • Fire button pressed 3 times initiates the wattage adjustment
  • With the wattage value flashing, each press of the fire button increments the value in 1W steps
  • Fire button pressed 4 times to lock/unlock the fire button
  • With the device turned off, fire button pressed 3 times resets the device and puff counter

Included on the OLED display screen are the main operating parameters as detailed below:

  • Battery level indicator
  • Numerical wattage level
  • Lock / Unlock
  • Coil resistance reading
  • Puff counter
  • Vaping time reading (Note)

Note: When you press the fire button to vape, the numerical wattage value reading switches to a vape time reading and remains visible for 2 seconds after the fire button is released, at which point it reverts back to the wattage value.

When switching the Feelin AX on by pressing the fire button 5 times, the OLED display indicate “X” and then switches to the main display screen. Equally when switching the Feelin AX off the display will indicate “X Bye” and then shut down.

The Feelin AX OLED display will also show different prompts to highlight individual functions and the safety protections as follows:

Increasing/Decreasing the Wattage Level

Press the fire button 3 times in quick succession and the numerical power (wattage) level will flash. While the display is flashing, each press of the fire button will increase the wattage value in 1W steps. Holding the fire button down will scroll through the wattage levels quicker.

When reducing the wattage level, you have to first take it to the maximum wattage allowable for that particular pod you’re using then the next press of the fire button reverts back to the lowest wattage value (5W).

Lock/Unlock

Pressing the fire button 4 times will lock the device. The fire button becomes inactive but you can vape by auto draw. The main display will show the locked padlock symbol underneath the battery icon and if you press the fire button the display will show a locked padlock with “Lock” underneath.

Unlocking is the same, 4 presses unlocks the fire button and the display will show the unlocked padlock icon . The main display will show the unlocked padlock icon underneath the battery icon.

Screen Timeout

The display screen will remain illuminated for 10 seconds after the fire button is released and then go blank. Pressing the fire button or drawing on the pod will re-illuminate the OLED display.

Vape Cut-Off

Cut-Off or sometimes called Overtime protection is a safety feature that prevents prolonged firing of the device when the fire button is held on. Pressing the fire button or drawing on the pod continually for longer than 10 seconds will activate the cut-off and the OLED display will indicate “TIMEOUT“.

During use I observed the cut-off time was nearer 7 seconds.

Reset / Puff Counter

To clear the Puff Counter, press the fire button 5 times to turn off the Feelin AX. With the device turned off, press the fire button 3 times and the OLED display will show the version number for 10 seconds and then extinguish. Power the Feelin AX back on (5 clicks) and the puff counter will be reset to zero.

Note: When you power back on after resetting the puff counter, the Feelin AX will also reset the wattage level to the “Smart” optimum wattage for the particular pod you’re using.

Airflow

The Feelin AX has adjustable airflow control via a single slider lever on the side of the casing. Moving this lever upwards will decrease the airflow and restrict the draw, sliding it downwards will increase the airflow and provide an airy draw.

MTL, RDL and DTL vaping styles can be achieved by selecting the appropriate resistance pod and adjusting the airflow position as required.

There are very few devices that can produce all 3 vaping styles and we’ve found with the 1.2 ohm pod and the airflow restricted it give a really nice tight draw.

Two A1 pods are supplied with the Feelin AX Pod kit; a 0.6 ohm Kanthal mesh coil pod and a 0.8 ohm Kanthal mesh coil pod. For reference we have included the 0.4 ohm and 1.2 ohm pod information in this section even though they do not come as part of this kit. We used these two pods when reviewing the Nevoks Feelin A1 Pod Kit device last year.

As always, when filling the pod for the first time, do leave it to stand for 10-15 minutes before you use it to allow the e-liquid to fully saturate the wicking material. I also prefer when using a new pod to set the wattage to its lowest setting (5W) and take a few draws to pull e-liquid through the coil. Gradually increment the wattage, each time taking a few draw until you reach your sweet spot.

0.4 ohm Mesh Coil/Pod (not included in the kit)

Nevoks Feelin A1 0.4ohm Pod

Nevoks specify the working wattage range for this pod/coil is between 25W-30W. Smart coil detect automatically sets the optimum wattage to 28W but you can adjust the Feelin AX from 5W to 30W.

Flavor and vapor started to come through at 10W. At 12W it was giving a pretty decent vape with plenty of vapor and was picking out the flavors from my e-liquid. I would say at 15W this pod for me was at its optimum. Increasing the wattage above this reduced the draw time and intensified the experience.

The “Smart” auto set of 28W, while producing fantastic flavor with dense vapor was too high for me.

0.6 ohm Mesh Coil/Pod (included in the kit)

Nevoks specify the working wattage range for this pod/coil is between 17W-22W. Smart coil detect automatically sets the optimum wattage to 22W but you can adjust the Feelin AX from 5W to 25W.

Flavor and vapor started to appear at 8W. Things got pretty good at 10W, very nice at 12W and perfect at 15W. Taking the coil/pod to its auto set wattage of 22W was again too too high for me.

My preferred wattage setting for this coil was between 13W-15W with the flavor and vapor produced being really good.

0.8 ohm Mesh Coil/Pod (included in the kit)

Nevoks specify the working wattage range for this pod/coil is between 13W-16W. Smart coil detect automatically sets the optimum wattage to 16W but you can adjust the Feelin AX from 5W to 18W.

Things started to happen at 7W after a long draw. Flavor and vapor was pretty good at 9W, very nice at 11W and spot on at 13W. 16W as the optimum wattage setting was a little high but did give great results.

My preferred wattage setting for this coil was between 10W – 13W which produced really good flavor and vapor.

1.2 ohm Mesh Coil/Pod (not included in the kit)

Nevoks Feelin A1 1.2ohm Pod

Nevoks specify the working wattage range for this pod/coil is between 8W-11W. Smart coil detect automatically sets the optimum wattage to 12W but you can adjust the Feelin AX from 5W to 13W.

Flavor and vapor starts to come through at 5W, increasing it to 6W then 7W gave a nice short draw with plenty of flavor and lots of vapor. I found between 8W and 10W was perfect with great results. 12W is again a tad high for the optimum set wattage.

My preferred wattage setting for this coil was 9W which produced good flavor with lots of vapor.

Any Leaks?

Throughout my time using the Feelin AX pod kit, there was no evidence of any leaks. Slight condensation on the bottom of the pod coil contact pins would occasionally occur, evident when it was time to re-fill the pod but this is quite normal.

Obviously as the pods age or if the pod is left to stand without being used leaking can start to occur. If this happens, dab the pod recess and the bottom of the pod/coil with a paper towel to remove any e-liquid.

As with any pod, I would strongly recommend removing the pod from the device if you’re not using it for any length of time as leaking will most likely happen.

Airflow

Airflow adjustment control is very good. The slider has a positive feel to it and is restrictive so shouldn’t move on its own. The range of airflow is really good. Airflow closed (slider uppermost) produces a very good DTL draw when using a low resistance pod while opening the airflow (slider downwards) restricts the airflow giving a tight MTL draw when using a higher resistance pod.

Auto Draw

Auto draw is quite sensitive and very responsive with no miss-fires. The only caveat to this is when the airflow is opened beyond half way you will need to increase the strength of your draw to activate. Too much airflow will make the auto draw less effective and you will need to use the fire button.

Performance Summary

Both the included 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm pods were impressive picking out the flavors in the e-liquid really well with more than expected vapor produced. The wicking ports kept up with a higher VG juice but I mostly used a 50/50 mix e-liquid through the pods.

We also had really good results when using the 0.4 ohm and 1.2 ohm pods during our time reviewing and using the Feelin A1 Pod device last year.

Longevity of the pods is equally as impressive. Nevoks state the A1 pods are good for 30ml of e-liquid before they degrade. In general, we’ve passed at least 50ml through these pods before we could detect a drop off in flavor.

The draw was smooth and fairly quiet and the hit from the pods was good. Auto draw worked every time and was very responsive. I found the intensity of the draw was about the same whether using auto draw or the fire button.

Airflow wise I was pleasantly surprised. Irrespective of the pod resistance I was using, the airflow could be controlled across the whole spectrum of vaping styles.

Nevoks Feelin AX Battery Performance

The Feelin AX is powered by an internal 1500mAh rechargeable battery. This is a pretty decent sized capacity battery considering the size and weight of the device. Charging time will take approximately 45 minutes to fully charge via the on board Type-C USB port using the supplied cable which is very good.

On average I was achieving a good 11 hours vaping when using the 0.6 ohm pod at 14W from a fully charged battery. 14 hours using the 0.8 ohm pod at 11W. These times will vary depending on the resistance of pod you’re using, your set wattage and your vaping style i.e. duration and frequency of your draw.

The intensity of the draw remains the same throughout the discharge cycle of the battery. It doesn’t diminish as the battery drains and remained the same up to the point that the battery cut out.

Once the battery is depleted of its charge (Low Voltage Cut-Off), the OLED display will show “LOW VOLT” and will switch off. Our How to Charge section covers what you can expect when charging the Feelin AX.

How do I Fill the Nevoks Feelin A1 Pod?


Depending on the kit you buy (TPD or Non-TPD regions), the pods will be either 2ml capacity top fill (TPD) or 3ml capacity side fill (Non-TPD).

We have used both types of Feelin A1 pods so will cover both these variants in detail. The 3ml side fill pod will have to be removed from the Feelin AX body in order to fill the pod but I would also suggest you remove the 2ml top fill pod to fill so it doesn’t place undue stress on the Feelin AX body.

3ml Side Fill Pod

Once the pod is removed, the black silicone rubber flap will be visible on one of the flat sides of the pod. This rubber flap sits slightly recessed against the pod casing and has a small arrow indented into the rubber to indicate which end of the flap needs to be lifted up and away.

Gently pull this end of the flap upwards so the bung comes away to reveal the semi-oval fill port. The other end of the rubber seal is secured to the pod by a small rubber tag so it won’t get misplaced. You can swivel the flap around to give easier access to the fill port if required.

Turn the pod on its side, fill the pod up with your e-liquid and replace the black silicone rubber seal ensuring the bung is securely fitted in the fill port opening. The semi-oval fill port is a reasonable size (5.25mm) so will accept short stubby tip e-liquid bottles.

Re-insert the pod into the Feelin AX body ensuring it locks into position and held securely by the magnets. The main OLED display will indicate “MEASURE” and show the coil resistance then switch to the main operating display.

2ml Top Fill Pod

As I mentioned earlier, I would recommend removing the pod first before trying to remove the mouthpiece. Due to the design of the pod, although being a top fill, you will have to remove the duck bill style mouthpiece to gain access to the filling port. Do note the mouthpiece is a secure snap fit so does take quite a bit of pressure to pull the mouthpiece away from the top of the pod.

With the mouthpiece removed, the top of the pod is covered by a black silicone rubber mat that has a single center hole, an indented pin hole to one side and a small indented arrow at the other end. This center hole is the chimney leading down onto the top of the coil; DO NOT use this hole for filling.

From the indented arrow end, gently lift this end up so the rubber bung comes out of the filling port hole. The rubber mat will swivel round to give greater access to the fill port and remain attached by the small tag. The fill port hole is approximately 4.3mm in diameter so will accept those short stubby e-liquid bottle tips.

Fill the pod up with your e-liquid and re-secure the black silicone bung into the fill hole. Replace the black mouthpiece ensuring it snaps into position.

Re-insert the pod into the Feelin AX body ensuring it snaps into position and held securely by the magnets. The main OLED display will indicate “MEASURE” and show the coil resistance then switch to the main operating display.

General

Keeping an eye on the e-liquid "Min" fill line

Do ensure you don’t let the e-liquid level run down too low before you top up the pod. There is a minimum e-liquid mark on the flat sides of the pod which align with the wicking ports of the integrated coil but are only visible when the pod is removed.

Alternatively you can tilt the Feelin AX to one side so you can see the remaining e-liquid in the pod. The main thing to ensure is you don’t let the e-liquid level fall below the wicking ports on the coil.

Quick Tip: If you are filling the pod for the first time, once filled, leave to stand for approx. 10-15 minutes before you start to vape. This will help saturate the wick fully in e-liquid and help prolong the life of the coil in the pod.

When and How do I Change the Feelin AX Pod?


Because the Feelin AX pods have non-replaceable coils, when the coil starts to degrade after a couple of weeks use, the pod will need to be discarded and a new pod fitted.

An indication of the coil degrading will show by either a loss of flavor or a lack of vapor or in worst case a severe nasty burnt taste. It is possible too that the coil could fail completely indicating a short circuit or open circuit prompt. Either way, discard the pod and fit a new one.

Pull the pod up and away from the Feelin AX body pod recess. Unfortunately if you still have e-liquid in the pod, this will have to be discarded as well.

When fitting a new pod, follow the procedure for How Do I Fill The Pod, written earlier on in this review. As you insert the pod into the Feelin AX body, the main OLED display will indicate “MEASURE” and show the coil resistance then switch to the main operating display.

How do I Charge the Nevoks Feelin AX?


When you first receive your Feelin AX Pod Kit it should come fully charged (5 white bars in the battery icon). However the battery will drain over time so I would recommend to fully charge the device before you first use it.

During use the battery will drain and each of the white battery icon bars will reduce until they disappear. When the battery has reached its low battery cut-off the OLED display will indicate “LOW VOLT”. At this point you will need to place the Feelin AX on charge to continue vaping.

Using the supplied charging cable, plug the cable into the Type-C USB port on the side edge of the Feelin AX body. Connect the other end into a suitable power source (typically 5V/1A or higher).

When the Feelin AX is first placed on charge the OLED display will illuminate showing the main display screen and the little battery icon in the top right hand corner will begin to count upwards. After approximately 3 seconds, the main display switches to a larger single battery icon.

This screen will remain illuminated throughout the charging cycle continually counting upwards as the charge increases. When full charge is reached, the display will extinguish. At this point, remove the power source and you’re ready to vape again.

We previously mentioned the Feelin AX has “pass-thru” so you can vape while it’s being charged. Charging time takes approximately 45 minutes to fully charge the battery when using a 2.1A power source. Using a power source lower that 2A will increase the charging time.

I did observe that while the Feelin AX was on charge the case was slightly warm to the touch. While this is normal, I strongly advise to always charge this, and any other device for that matter, on a non-flammable surface.

As always, NEVER leave your vape device unattended while on charge.

Nevoks Feelin AX Pod Kit Price


The Feelin AX looks sleek, it’s well built and the quality is very good. Performance from the two included pods, including the other pods in the Feelin A1 platform range are impressive. It has a decent capacity battery, the display is clear and bright and the airflow control is really good.

Because the Feelin AX Pod kit has not been released yet and there aren’t any retailers displaying the pre-order price, we can’t comment on the price at the time of writing this review.

The Feelin AX looks and feels good. It’s well built, very lightweight and the quality shines through. Performance from the two included pods was very good and the airflow control is wide enough to suit any vaping styles. The additional range of Feelin AX pods (0.4 ohm and 1.2 ohm) further enhances the choice making it a very versatile kit.

Its 1500mAh internal battery capacity is pretty big for the size of the device and lasts a good day between charges. A 45 minute charging time is very quick with the added bonus of having pass-thru so you can charge and vape at the same time. I’m always pleased to see the OLED showing it’s charging throughout the charging cycle (a pet hate for me when it doesn’t).

Dual firing; auto draw and fire button control is very handy and worked very well. Being able to lock the fire button is good when it’s being transported. 5W – 30W variable wattage is more than enough for all of the A1 pod range and the Smart coil detect that sets the optimum wattage AND limits the maximum wattage that’s applied to the coil/pod is very good.

The 0.5 inch OLED highlights everything you need to know and is clear and bright.

All in all the Feeling AX pod kit performed flawlessly. I struggled to find something that I didn’t like about it and failed on this occasion!
