This week we’re taking a look at the brand new mammoth disposable from the team over at NEXA; the NEXA N20000!

It’s the first (and only currently available) disposable released by NEXA and it’s an absolute beast in terms of product specs and features!

With a phenomenal 20,000 total puff capacity, massive 800mAh rechargeable battery and a turbo/boost (25W!) feature, the NEXA N20000 offers plenty to get excited about.

With the inclusion of fully adjustable airflow and a huge, brightly colored LED display screen, the NEXA N20000 has everything you could possibly want in a disposable.

But how did it perform? Will it satisfy the flavor chasers among us? And perhaps most importantly, did it actually deliver 20,000 puffs?

Let’s dive into the full NEXA N20000 disposable review where we’ll answer all that, and more!

What’s in the Box?

For those of you interested in every detail, I’ll cover the packaging design and contents in this section. If you want to skip this and dive straight into the really important bits, please feel free to jump to the performance section.

First things first, the NEXA N20000 comes packaged in a brightly colored, eye-catching box with all the product information you could possibly want, printed clearly on almost every available surface of the packaging.

NEXA N20000 Disposable - Packaging (Triple Berry, Sour Apple Ice, Frozen Strawberry, Peach Mango Watermelon, Watermelon Ice)

On the front of the packaging you’ll find the NEXA brand/disposable name, the puff capacity, coil type and flavor name. The usual obtrusive nicotine warning is present, as well as a picture of the NEXA N20000 and icons indicating the turbo boost feature and adjustable airflow.

NEXA N20000 Disposable - Sour Apple Ice Packaging

The right-facing side of the packaging displays the puff capacity, flavor name and more icons alluding to the e-juice and battery LED display feature. Here you’ll also find a QR code to scan for technical support, which will take you directly to the NEXA website.

NEXA N20000 Disposable - Packaging side by side

Flip over to the left-facing side and you’ll see the puff capacity and flavor name printed again, in addition to the usual small-print warnings about nicotine, underage vaping and vaping while pregnant. The batch reference, nicotine strength and e-juice capacity are also printed here. Finally, NEXA have included another QR code which you can scan if you want to check the N20000 you’ve bought is authentic.

On the reverse of the packaging you’ll find the ingredients list, the NEXA brand company address, email and URL, as well as a brief set of usage instructions and the expected puff capacity (depending on the wattage mode you’re vaping in).

Incidentally, it’s this sort of detail that I really appreciate with the packaging design. NEXA have clearly stated they expect the N20000 to provide 20,000 puffs in regular mode (12W) and 15,000 puffs in turbo mode (25W). You even get a little user manual inside the box with instructions on how to use the NEXA N20000 and how to decipher the LED display screen.

It’s a nice little touch and the attention to detail is not something you see all that often with disposable devices!

Inside the packaging you’ll find the NEXA N20000 sealed within a clear, plastic wrapper designed to protect the disposable.

Once you’ve torn open the wrapper and removed the NEXA N20000, you’ll need to remove the silicone plug from the mouthpiece…

… and peel off the tiny sticker from the base of the disposable before you can take your first puff.

Overall I really like the packaging design, however I do have one small complaint and that’s the fact the PG/VG ratio of the e-juice isn’t displayed. I suffer from a (thankfully) very mild PG intolerance and it would be nice to know exactly how much PG is used in the production of the e-juice.

NEXA N20000 | Design & Appearance

There’s very little I don’t love about the design of the NEXA N20000 disposable, so we’ll start with the only negative critique I have, which is the lack of pass-through vaping. It’s minor I know, but I’m impatient and I hate having to wait while it’s on charge.

I’ll talk more about charging a bit further down, but other than the lack of pass-through vaping, the NEXA N20000 was surprisingly perfect for me personally.

I’ll pop one other caveat on the table though, as I’m well aware it might be an issue for some of you. The NEXA N20000 is a big disposable. Truth be told, with measurements of 98.5mm in height, 50.5mm in width and 27.5mm in depth, it’s one of the largest disposables we’ve ever reviewed.

Size of the Nexa N20000 when held in the hand

It also weighs in at 96.52g so if you’re looking for a compact, lightweight disposable you may want to look elsewhere.

Having said that, despite the larger than average design, the NEXA N20000 is still comfortable to hold and not too big to carry with you on the move. Don’t get me wrong, you’ll notice it’s in your pocket, but I managed to squeeze three N20000 disposables in a single jeans pocket without too much trouble.

Nexa N20000 fits nicely in the hand

In terms of design and aesthetics, it’s actually a pretty sleek looking disposable! As you can see from the pictures, it’s a rectangular shaped, box-mod style device made entirely from Polycarbonate. This gives the N20000 a super smooth finish and it’s so comfortable to hold that I actually found myself fiddling with it in-between puffs.

Nexa N20000 Look and feel

The main body of the disposable is color-coded to match the flavor, with a solid black section on the right-facing side of the device in which you’ll find the large, LED display screen. The display screen is amazing, and although it’s tricky getting a decent shot of it on camera due to the glare, it’s one of the best display screens I’ve seen on a disposable!

Front display on the Nexa N20000 disposable

The LED display screen lights up every time you take a puff, and clearly displays the current wattage mode, remaining e-juice and remaining battery level. There’s even a quirky little ‘animation’ that looks a bit like an alien spaceship in the centre of the screen!

Running the length of the LED display screen is a lighting strip which also lights up in tandem with the screen. Overall it’s a great looking disposable and despite the bright colors, I didn’t feel at all awkward vaping it in public or having it sat on my desk in the office.

The minimal branding also helps with the overall aesthetic of the N20000, with just “NEXA” and the flavor name printed on the disposable in sleek, black lettering.

Just under the LED display screen is the variable wattage button, which enables you to cycle between regular mode (12W) and turbo mode (25w).

The turbo mode button on the NEXA N20000 disposable

Pressing the button cycles between the two modes and each press activates the LED display screen so you can see what setting you’ve selected. We’ll get into the turbo mode in more detail when we talk about performance in the next section, but for now I’ll say it makes a big difference!

Just under the variable wattage button is the Type-C USB charging port. Charging is quick and easy, just plug a USB cable into the charging port and connect the other end to a suitable outlet. A full charge takes just over an hour, not too bad unless you’re an impatient fellow like myself.

Charging the NEXA N20000 disposable

At the top of the NEXA N20000 you’ll find the clear, polycarbonate mouthpiece. This mouthpiece protrudes approximately 14mm in a duck-billed styled design that’s smooth and comfortable to vape on.

Finally, at the base of the disposable, there’s a single airflow slot and the adjustable airflow control lever. All of the disposables I tested were in the fully closed airflow position as default, but I tend to pop it just off centre, leaning more towards a tight, restrictive mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw.

Airflow in the fully closed position

But rest assured, if restricted-direct-to-lung (RDTL) is more your style, you’ll be pleased to hear the NEXA N20000 is pretty airy with the airflow wide open and RDTL definitely won’t be a problem!

Overall I’m absolutely blown away by the NEXA N20000! With the sole exception of pass-through vaping (or lack thereof!) there isn’t a single thing I’d change about the design and/or aesthetics! Larger disposables may not be for everyone, but I love the bigger, bolder devices – especially when they get everything else right!

NEXA N20000 | Performance

If the design and aesthetics impressed me, the performance absolutely floored me!

Let’s get the slightly less exciting bits out of the way first. The auto-draw sensor worked perfectly across all five of the disposables NEXA sent me. It’s pretty common to get the odd false-hit with disposable devices; you take a puff and nothing happens. However, I didn’t experience a single false-hit or misfire with the NEXA N20000.

Throat hit is superb, with a decent throat kick every puff and the familiar satisfying nicotine hit. To be fair, this is almost always the case with 50mg nicotine salts, regardless of the disposable. However, the NEXA N20000 was also perfectly consistent, with each puff delivering (what felt like) just the right amount of nicotine.

The adjustable airflow is fantastic, and as previously mentioned, allowed me to vape my preferred, restrictive MTL style of vaping. Fully closed is very tight if that’s your thing, and likewise the fully open position is surprisingly airy for a disposable.

Adjustable airflow on the NEXA N20000 disposable set halfway

RDTL is not really a style of vaping I enjoy, but I did try a few puffs with the airflow wide open and I’ll be damned if it’s not too dissimilar to the old sub-ohm tanks I used to vape back when I first started vaping!

Vapor production is also impressive for a disposable, especially with the airflow opened. I wouldn’t suggest rocking up to a cloud-chasing competition expecting to place in the top three, but it’s definitely better than average and comparable to the smoke you’d get from a cigarette when vaping MTL.

Now moving on to the really exciting stuff, the flavor output is incredible. I won’t go into too much detail here, as you can read what I thought of each flavor in the flavor section below, but I’ll just say NEXA really know what they’re doing with these e-juice recipes! If you’re after a disposable with amazingly strong, dense flavor, look no further.

Longevity and battery life are both equally impressive. First of all, the 800mAh battery gave me over two full days of heavy vaping before it needed to be re-charged, which is far better than I’d been expecting! In terms of overall longevity, I’ll be fully transparent and confess I didn’t count the exact number of puffs. However, across all five of the NEXA N20000 disposables I tested, I managed to get between 25 – 29 days of heavy vaping!

Nexa N20000 Frozen Strawberry Flavor

I’m pretty confident my daily puff total is somewhere in the range of 600 – 700 puffs, which means the NEXA N20000 falls nicely within the advertised range. For those of you scratching your head at my math skills, I should clarify I took full advantage of the turbo (25W) mode. NEXA state they expect each N20000 to last 20,000 puffs in regular mode and 15,000 puffs in turbo mode, which seems about right!

Which brings me nicely to my favorite feature on the NEXA N20000; the turbo wattage mode. This feature totally transforms the disposable into beast mode vaping! The flavor, vapor production and throat hit are significantly amped up and it hits like a much larger, more powerful device! The caveat, as mentioned above, is the fact you will notice a reduction in battery life and overall longevity, but it’s definitely worth it if you want a big boost in performance!

Overall, I’m struggling to find a fault with this ‘little’ disposable! Throat hit, nicotine delivery and vapor production are all fantastic, flavor output is exceptional and the lifespan of each disposable is the icing on the cake!

NEXA N20000 | Flavors

I’m a big fan of large flavor ranges, the more varied the better, and unfortunately the NEXA N20000 disposable is only available in 15 different flavors.

It’s a pretty minor critique, especially considering the N20000 is damn near perfect in almost every other regard, but it would still be nice to see more flavors released in the range.

The currently available flavors are:

  • Grape Burst
  • Peach Mango Watermelon
  • Strawberry Mango
  • Strawberry Kiwi
  • Triple Berry
  • Blue Razz
  • Mighty Mint
  • Pink Lemonade
  • Sour Apple Ice
  • Chicago Blueberry Mint
  • Frozen Strawberry
  • Watermelon Ice
  • Kiwi Pineapple
  • Apple Gem
  • Gold Kiwi

As you can see, it’s predominately fruity flavors (not necessarily a bad thing) with the addition of a menthol based option. It’s great to see a few slightly less common flavor combinations, like the Kiwi Pineapple and Chicago Blueberry Mint. However, I’d love to see a tobacco blend and a couple of dessert flavors introduced later down the line to really round off the flavor range.

NEXA very kindly sent us a few of their flavors to review, so I’ll give you my thoughts on each below:

Frozen Strawberry

NEXA N20000 - Frozen Strawberry

The first of the five flavors I tried, the Frozen Strawberry is exactly as you’d expect; deliciously sweet strawberries with a refreshing icy menthol kick.

The strawberry isn’t too synthetic, which is often the case with this flavor note in e-juice (at least to my taste buds) and I found myself enjoying this one more than I thought I would.

NEXA have blended this perfectly, with just the right amount of sweetness and a nice (but not overpowering) icy kick on the inhale.

Definitely an all-day vape!

Peach Mango Watermelon

NEXA N20000 - Peach Mango Watermelon

If you like tropical, fruity flavors this one is a must-try!

It’s nothing short of divine, with a delicious blend of soft, sweet peach, sharp, juicy mango and authentic, ripe watermelon.

My favorite of the five flavors by far, this is a flavor I could happily vape for life!

I’d go so far as to say this is the best iteration of this flavor recipe I’ve come across and my disappointment was palpable when this one ran out.

Sour Apple Ice

NEXA N20000 - Sour Apple Ice

The Sour Apple Ice was yet another fantastic flavor, with just the right balance of sharp, sour apple and a blast of fresh menthol.

I’m not usually a big fan of apple as a flavor note in e-juice, but this was so well-blended I couldn’t help but enjoy it.

In contrast to the other flavors I’ve tested so far, this is definitely more of a candy-esque vape juice and actually reminds me of the Chewitz apple sour sweets that used to be popular in the UK years ago!

Easily another all-day vape.

Triple Berry

NEXA N20000 - Triple Berry

The Triple Berry flavor NEXA N20000 is a big, bold, berried explosion with no apologies.

I couldn’t find the official note breakdown, but imagine mixing a smoothie with blueberries, blackberries and strawberries and you’re on the right track.

It’s a tried and tested flavor, popular with many disposable manufacturers, and NEXA’s interpretation is deliciously sweet, juicy and authentic tasting.

This flavor is particularly tasty during the warmer weather.

Watermelon Ice

NEXA N20000 - Watermelon Ice

Watermelon is one of my favorite flavors in e-juice, and this one didn’t disappoint!

It’s a mouth-watering blend of juicy, ripe watermelon with a sharp, icy kick on the inhale. It’s another tried and tested flavor profile and the balance between the watermelon and menthol is spot on on this recipe.

The watermelon is so authentic you feel like you’re eating freshly picked fruit, and the icy kick is just right and not too overpowering.

I’m actually vaping this one as I type and it’s so good I’m finding it genuinely difficult to pick a favorite!

Overall, it’s a full-house and despite my earlier nit-picking about the flavor range, I’m actually really impressed with the NEXA N20000 flavors I tested! The phrase “bursting with flavor” comes to mind! Each of the five flavors I tried were absolutely delicious, expertly blended and incredibly full-bodied.

NEXA N20000 | Price

As with most of the disposables we’re asked to review, the NEXA N20000 has only just been released and is unlikely to be widely available online.

It’s worth checking in your local vape store to see if they stock (or are planning to stock) the NEXA N20000 as I’m not entirely sure what sort of release NEXA had in place.

However, if you’re looking to pick one up online, the current price (depending on vendor) is ranging between $14.99 and $15.99.

This is absolutely incredible considering the performance and longevity on offer and I’m genuinely shocked the N20000 is retailing for anything under $20!

Don’t get me wrong, it can still get expensive if you’ve exclusively vaping the NEXA N20000 (or any disposable!) compared to your standard mod/RTA set up, especially if you’re mixing your own juice!

However, when compared to the cost of smoking, it’s still a far cheaper alternative.
