What’s in the Box?

Orion Bar 7500 - What's in the Box 3

The Orion Bar 7500 comes packaged in a detailed and color coded box that corresponds with the flavor of the disposable inside. There’s a ton of useful information along with several warnings. On the front there’s an image of the Orion Bar 7500 along with a large nicotine warning and the name of the flavor.

On either side of the box there’s additional useful information including the puff capacity, e-juice capacity and the level of nicotine.

Finally on the back of the box you’ll find a list of ingredients and several more warnings. There’s also a handy QR code you can scan to check for the authenticity of the Orion Bar you’ve purchased.

The only information that was missing for me was the PG/VG ratio of the e-juice. While not really essential, it is super useful for vapers who suffer with PG Intolerance.

Orion Bar 7500 | Design and Appearance

In terms of the design and appearance I was completely blown away during my time testing the Orion Bar 7500. The first thing that you immediately notice when opening the box is the brilliantly tiny size. Considering it’s designed as a rechargeable, multi-day device, the compact size is incredible!

Measuring a mere 84mm in height, 48mm in width and 25mm in depth, the Orion Bar 7500 is one seriously small box mod. It reminded me of holding a slightly chucky zippo lighter and is the perfect size for slipping in a pocket while you’re on the go.

Orion Bar 7500 - Design and Appearance 1

The light 70g weight also adds to the overall portability of the device and means you don’t really even notice it sitting in your pocket.

In fact, I regularly carried around 2 or 3 of the Orion Bar disposables without feeling weighed down or uncomfortable.

It’s also worth remembering that the Orion Bar 7500 holds an amazing 18ml of e-juice and incorporates a rechargeable 650 mAh battery. The fact the Lost Vapes design team managed to fit all of this into such a small frame is testament to their abilities.

I’ve reviewed several other disposable vapes over the past year (Voltbar / iJOY Punk etc) and despite the Orion Bar 7500 holding the most amount of e-juice, it’s easily one of the smaller disposables I’ve had the pleasure of vaping on.

When it comes to vaping on the Orion Bar 7500 things are also incredibly simple. As an auto-draw device there are no buttons to speak of and you simply draw on the mouthpiece to activate the coil. Across all three of the Orion Bars I tested the auto-draw worked flawlessly.

I was also really impressed with the overall aesthetics. Designed with a clear polycarbonate shell, the insides of the Orion Bar 7500 are completely exposed. Both the juice well and the internal battery can be seen through the plastic shell.

The polycarbonate shell also features raised/grooved edges for improved grip. The light weight along with the grooved edges makes for a really comfortable hold when vaping the Orion Bar 7500.

And for those of you concerned that the polycarbonate shell and slight size gives it a cheap, fragile feel, the Orion Bar 7500 actually feels incredibly robust and durable.

Being the clumsy person I am I was unlucky enough to drop all three of the Orion Bar 7500s I received at one point or another. Despite this not a single of the three disposables showed any damage to the body or indeed any negative performance issues as a result.

On top of the Orion Bar disposable there’s an incorporated mouthpiece that’s raised 18mm above the rest of the body. The mouthpiece is oval shaped and tapers into a smaller opening near the top. This again makes the Orion Bar 7500 really comfortable to vape on and compliments the different draw styles you can achieve (more on this later).

In terms of branding and design the Orion Bar 7500 is also really colorful and eye-catching, all without being in your face or over the top. The ‘Orion Bar’ logo is printed in bold font across both sides of the internal battery and the e-juice well features a funky, retro artwork that’s different for each of the 15 flavors in the range.

It’s the kind of design that would suit a variety of vapers; anywhere from the typical businessman to the twenty-something party-goer.

At the bottom of the disposable there’s also a colored block that matches the flavor of the e-juice inside. This block incorporates the Type-C USB port (0.5A), the LED puff indicator and amazingly the control for variable airflow.

The LED indicator lights up whenever you draw on the device and flashes 10 times in quick succession when the battery needs a recharge.

For me personally the most impressive design feature is the variable airflow that’s controlled via a small slide switch on the underside of the vape. For what feels like years I’ve been moaning about the lack of variable airflow on disposable vapes and Lost Vapes have finally answered my prayers.

The airflow switch allows you to vary the kind of draw you can get on the Orion Bar 7500. At one end of the slide you can achieve an extremely tight mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw that’s reminscent of smoking a traditional cigarette. This kind of draw would most likely suit a smoker looking to make the switch to vaping.

At the other end of the airflow slide you can achieve a restricted direct-to-lung (RDTL) draw. For me personally, I found my sweet spot somewhere in the middle. The tight DTL draw for me muted the flavor ever so slightly and on the opposite end the RDTL draw didn’t really suit my personal preference.

With the airflow slide sitting in the middle of the range I found a smooth, comfortable DTL draw that allowed the full range of flavor to come through in the vapor.

The only minor design flaw I found when using the Orion Bar 7500 was the fact it utilises the Type-C charging port on the bottom of the device as the airflow intake. This means your pinky finger can occasionally block off the airflow when trying to vape.

To be honest though it’s a very minor design flaw and something you adjust to very quickly. Perhaps more annoyingly the dual function of the charge port means you can’t vape on the device while it’s recharging. Because the Type-C USB connector blocks the airflow once inserted, the Orion Bar 7500 has no pass-through option.

Despite this I would happily trade pass-through capability for the option of variable airflow!

All in all I was incredibly impressed with the design and appearance of the Orion Bar 7500. It’s compact size and light weight make it extremely portable and the see-through Polycarbonate shell, in conjunction with the artwork and colors, makes for a really eye-catching design.

Add to this the fact it holds a whopping 18ml of e-juice, a 650 mAh rechargeable battery and a variable airflow switch and the Orion Bar 7500 is fast becoming my number one favourite disposable vape!

Orion Bar 7500 | Performance

When it comes to the performance of the Orion Bar I’m happy to report that things get even better. The standout feature for me personally was the sheer amount of time you can vape on this disposable for.

True to its name the Orion Bar 7500 provides approximately 7,500 puffs. Full disclosure though… I only counted the amount of puffs across one full day of vaping and extended this across the total amount of days the device lasted me for.

As a heavy vaper I puff constantly throughout the day. On the odd occasion my vape isn’t in my hand then it’s certainly within reaching distance. Despite this, each of the Orion Bar 7500s I tested lasted for an incredible 11 days!

At my best guess a light to medium vaper could get anywhere up to 3 full weeks with the Orion Bar 7500, perhaps even more if you only puff infrequently. Considering the extremely reasonable price tag (more on this in the price section), it’s amazing value for money!

As well as this the internal 650 mAh battery performs brilliantly and provides just over 2 full days of vaping before the device requires a recharge. This means you can take the Orion Bar 7500 out with you for the day, or even for a weekend, without really having to worry about running out of battery.

When the battery does run out of power the LED on the bottom of the device flashes 10 times in quick succession. After plugging in a USB-C cable the LED stays permanently lit until the device reaches full charge. All told this takes just under an hour.

As I mentioned earlier the only slight drawback is once the device is on charge you can’t continue vaping on it.

Another standout feature is the unbelievable amount of vapor the Orion Bar 7500 can produce. With only a few seconds of drawing on the mouthpiece the Orion Bar kicks out thick, foggy clouds of vapor. In comparison to most other disposable vapes I’ve tried, the Orion Bar 7500 produces a far superior cloud of the white stuff.

It’s also worth mentioning that the amount of vapor produced depends on the placement of the adjustable airflow control. With the slide set to a RDTL setting the Orion Bar 7500 really does kick out thick, dense clouds comparable with a traditional tank and mod setup.

It also ticks all the right boxes when it comes to throat hit and nicotine delivery. We were sent the 50mg versions but they also come available in 0mg and 20mg nicotine strengths. Each draw on the Orion Bar 7500 provides a really satisfying throat kick that helps to curb any cravings you might have.

While I usually vape a lower milligram strength nicotine the 50mg strength was satisfying and smooth. In the past I’ve experienced a harsh sensation at the back of the throat when vaping 50mg strength disposables but in four weeks of vaping on the Orion Bar 7500s I haven’t experience this once.

As well as this the integrated mesh coil provides consistently great vapor and flavor with zero burnt/dry hits at all. The only time the flavor dropped off was right near the end of available 18ml of e-juice.

Finally it’s also worth mentioning that the Orion Bar 7500s appear to be completely leak-proof, at least the three I tested were. It’s a personal bugbear of mine when a vape leaks, even if only a little. Having sticky e-juice residue on your hands or even worse a small amount of e-juice spluttering into your mouth can completely ruin the experience. The Orion Bars in this respect performed flawlessly.

Overall the performance of the Orion Bar 7500 is almost perfect. The superb battery life, impressive vapor production and satisfying throat hit make it a strong contender in the disposable vape market. Add to this the incredible lifespan of each device and the highly competitive price tag and the Orion Bar 7500 has become my top recommendation for a disposable vape!

Orion Bar 7500 | Flavors

Another compelling reason to try the Orion Bar 7500 disposables is the incredibly varied and mouth-watering flavors on offer. In total there are currently 15 delicious flavors available in the range:

  • Sour Apple Ice
  • Blueberry Raspberry
  • Strawberry Kiwi
  • Pineapple Lemonade
  • Aloe Grape
  • Cool Mint
  • Rainbow Drop
  • Lush Ice
  • Banana Cake
  • Mango Ice
  • Orange Ice
  • Pink Lemonade
  • Grape Energy
  • Peach Mango Watermelon
  • Pineapple Ice

As you can see there are some really delicious sounding flavors in the range. While they are heavily weighted in favor of the fruity flavors, it’s nice to see the inclusion of a more desserty flavor (Banana Cake) and a candy flavor (Rainbow Drop).

We were lucky enough to be sent the following 3 to try; Blueberry Raspberry, Cool Mint and Rainbow Drop. From vaping these three flavors over the past month it’s clear to me how much time and effort has gone into creating great combinations that absolutely burst with flavor.

Of course taste is subjective but the Orion Bar 7500 disposables delivered some of the best flavors I’ve tried in the last year! I’ll give a brief description of the 3 flavors below and do my best to describe them.

Blueberry Raspberry

Hands down this was easily my favorite flavor of the three disposables Lost Vapes sent to us.

Bursting with fruity tones, the Blueberry Raspberry is on the sweeter side with only a very slight sour hint on the exhale.

For me they’ve nailed the perfect blend between these two fruits! There’s also a very slight icy hint on the inhale that compliments the fruits perfectly.

Easily an all day vape for me and one I found hard to put down. I can guarantee this will be a flavor that finds its way into my shopping cart very soon.

Orion Bar 7500 Flavors - Blueberry Raspberry
Orion Bar 7500 Flavors - Cool Mint

Cool Mint

This flavor actually really surprised me. I have to be honest, when I saw we’d been sent the Cool Mint I was ever so slightly disappointed.

I’m not usually the biggest fan of cool, icy flavors on their own. I find that while they’re great for resetting vapers tongue, they soon become a bit overpowering.

With that being said, the Cool Mint has a nice icy sweetness to it that’s incredibly refreshing without becoming too much.

While it’s probably not a flavor I’d choose to buy again I’d happily vape on it all day long.

Rainbow Drop

The Rainbow Drop is an absolute explosion of flavor! Packed full of delicious fruity tones it’s actually quite hard to pin down any one particular flavor.

If you’ve ever thrown a handful of skittles into your mouth you’ll have a pretty good idea of the kind of flavor in this vape.

Interestingly this one also reminded me of the popular Nerdz candy we have here in the UK. Again this was easily another all day vape for me.

Orion Bar 7500 Flavors - Rainbow Drop

Overall I was incredibly impressed with the Orion Bar 7500 flavors I vaped on. Having sampled 3 of these flavors it’s clear to me that Lost Vapes have put a great deal of time and effort into creating unique blends that will appeal to a wide range of vapers.

I can say with certainty that I’ll be purchasing myself the other 12 flavors in the range in the very near future!

Orion Bar 7500 | Price

Having scoured the internet it looks like the Orion Bar 7500s are retailing from around $15-$20 per disposable. Considering this device will last the average vaper well over 2 weeks it’s a really reasonable price tag. Before researching the price I actually expected them to retail for around $25, simply because of the incredible quality and performance.

While it’s by no means the cheapest rechargeable disposable we’ve reviewed (that accolade goes to the Yumi EPICmod), the cost still pales in comparison to the price you’d pay for cigarettes or even single day disposables like the popular 600 puff Elf Bar.

As I’ve mentioned several times throughout this review the design, quality and performance of the Orion Bar 7500 is incredible! When you consider this alongside the extremely reasonable price tag, purchasing an Orion Bar 7500 disposable or two seems like a really easy decision to me.

Orion Bar 7500 | Verdict

Overall I was blown away by Lost Vapes’ Orion Bar 7500! It offers excellent flavors, great satisfaction, impressive vapor production and a seriously amazing lifespan. As well as this the design makes the Orion Bar 7500 convenient to use and perfect for taking out with you on the go.

As if you needed anymore reason to fall in love with the Orion Bar 7500 you can get all this great performance for as little as $15 per disposable!

Lost Vapes have done an amazing job of producing an affordable disposable that’s designed with convenience and simplicity in mind.

Along with this the performance is one of the best, if not the best I’ve ever experienced on a disposable vape. Heck it even has variable airflow adjustment!

The build quality is great and I couldn’t help but think it’s a shame there’s no way to refill the Orion Bar 7500! It feels so much more robust and well designed than the majority of other disposable vapes you can currently buy.

Hats off to Lost Vapes! Having had the pleasure of testing three Orion Bar 7500s I can safely say I’ll be ordering more in the future!

    1. Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for your comment. I’ve tried bubble gum vape flavor in the past and personally I’m a big fan! It’s worth having a look through some of our disposable reviews because several of the devices we’re recently reviewed come in bubble gum flavor. Happy hunting!

        1. Hey Brandy,

Thanks for the comment! I haven’t tried the Tugpod disposable but it looks amazing! You’ve piqued our interest and we’ll definetely try to write a review on it soon.

  2. Thank you so very much for answering so many questions I had. I just got my first one in Pineapple Lemonade and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! I really want to try more flavors but this is the only one my vape shop had. IT IS ABSOLUTELY DEFINITELY MY NEW FAVORITE VAPE, THANK YOU FOR SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT!!!! SHERYN

    1. Hi Sheryn, you’re very welcome and am glad you liked our review. The Orion Bar 7500 blew us away with how good it was. Hope your vape shop is able to get more flavours in so you can try them.

    1. Hi Kristen,
Thank you for your question. On average we are getting around 2 days vaping before the battery requires recharging. As there is 18ml of e-liquid in the Orion Bar 7500, we found we re-charged around 8 times before the e-liquid ran out and we disposed of it. We have not had the situation arise where it wouldn’t charge anymore as the total amount of e-liquid would always be consumed.

    1. Hi Krista,

Thanks for your comment and glad to hear another smoker has kicked the habit! The Orion Bar 7500 is still my favourite disposable vape and I’ve tried several new devices since writing this review! Happy vaping Krista!

      1. So I recently bought my first vape. So happened it was this brand (banana cake) was hoping you might be able to answer a question or two for me if able? So I am trying to switch over to vape from cigarettes. I’ll be honest here. My normal was a pack and half a day. But on occasion could smoke two packs in one day. I seen you mentioned here about different nicotine levels. Taking how much I smoked. Would there be a certain nicotine percentage you could suggest? And by chance do you know of any other benefits vaping has over traditional cigarettes? By chance an accurate article to read? Anyway thank you! Great info you provided here

        1. Hi Tiffany,
Here in the UK we are limited to 20mg (2%) nic strength. This should satisfy a medium to heavy smoker. If you do have access to higher strength nicotine then that might be better option for the short term to satisfy your cravings. Nic Salts are an alternative which come in higher strengths and are less harsh on the throat. They also deliver the nicotine quicker.
Moving on to a higher powered mod and a sub ohm tank would also be a better option than a disposible. This enables you to use the e-liquid you want and adjust the power to your own requirements.
The benefits of vaping are huge when compared to smoking. It’s cleaner, healthier and far cheaper than smoking. While much more research needs to be done into vaping and the benefits it offers over smoking, the general consensus is that vaping is a much healthier option. If you’re looking for more information on vaping I’d recommend checking out our guides section which has several useful articles.
          Hope this helps.

        2. I am a two pack a day smoker for the last 40 years I bought an Orion Vape took one hit put the cigarettes down and I have never picked a pack up since then. I have tried many times over the years to quit and Orion V ape 7500 did it for me one hit I quit

          1. Hi Julane,

Thanks for your comment. It’s so lovely to hear stories like this! I had a very similar experience to you….I’d tried to give up smoking on several occasions but never managed to stick with it until I’d tried my first vape.

    1. Hi Bella,

Thanks for your comment and glad you like the Orion Bar 7500! It’s still probably my favourite disposable vape to date! Happy vaping 🙂
