Not only is the Magic Maze Pro the biggest, boldest OXBAR release to date, it also just happens to be the World’s first disposable vape with adjustable wattage!
If that isn’t enough to get your taste-buds tingling, the OXBAR Magic Maze Pro also comes with adjustable airflow, a massive 10,000 puff capacity and even a free lanyard!
But before I get carried away, let’s back up for a second.
We were introduced to OXBAR earlier this year and I found myself in the enviable position of reviewing their OXBAR G8000 disposable. It was the first OXBAR disposable we’d put to the test and it quickly became one of my favorite disposables of all time!
As you can imagine, when they asked us to review their latest release, the Magic Maze Pro disposable, every member of our writing team put their name forward.
Three quick rounds of Rock, Paper, Scissors and one small(ish) bribe later, my name hit the top of the list and I’ve been using the OXBAR Magic Maze Pro disposable as my daily vape ever since.
* Spoiler alert * It’s quite possibly the best disposable I’ve personally tested this year.
In a nutshell, the OXBAR Magic Maze Pro is a multi-day, long-lasting disposable with a 900mAh super-charged rechargeable battery and 12ml of e-juice. It’s auto-draw, available in a wide range of 15 delicious flavors and features a LED display screen for remaining battery and e-juice levels.

What’s in the Box?
Just like the previous disposable we reviewed for OXBAR, the Magic Maze Pro arrived in a professional display box with several different flavored disposables, a laminated promotional leaflet with the disposable specifications and a full list of available flavors.
The display box is covered in OXBAR branding, with a picture of the Magic Maze Pro and ‘Magic Maze Series’ printed on the top.
OXBAR even threw in a Magic Maze Pro disposable t-shirt and a gold-plated OXBAR branded neck chain! I’ll be completely honest, it’s probably not something I’ll wear in public as it’s giving me Vanilla Ice vibes, but it’s a nice touch nonetheless!
The individual OXBAR Magic Maze Pro disposable comes packaged in a rectangular cardboard box, color-coded to match the flavor of the disposable inside. The packaging is bright, eye-catching and colorful without being overly cartoonish and the colors are all a slightly faded pastel style.
Inside the box is a sealed, foil wrapper protecting the Magic Maze Pro disposable and an OXBAR branded lanyard that attaches to the top of the disposable so you can hang it around your neck.
I don’t use it personally, but it’s probably handy if you’re prone to losing your vape!
But back to the packaging. On the front of the box, there’s a picture of the Magic Maze Pro disposable, the total puff capacity, the flavor name and the usual nicotine warning. OXBAR have also briefly listed the main features, including the adjustable airflow, free lanyard and display screen.
Don’t be surprised if your OXBAR Magic Maze Pro disposable comes in slightly different packaging. For example, instead of ‘Magic Maze Pro’, some of the packaging and disposables we received had ‘Pod Juice’ on the front. It turns out certain Magic Maze Pro disposable flavors are crafted by the amazing e-juice company, Pod Juice E-Liquid in a sort of collaborative effort! Rest assured though, it’s the exact same product within!
Flip over to the right-facing side of the packaging and you’ll find the total puff capacity and flavor name displayed again. The words ‘Smooth Nic Salt’ and ‘rechargeable USB-C’ are also printed on this side of the box.
The opposite side of the box (the left-facing side) is almost identical in terms of information displayed, although the nicotine strength and a QR code to scan for authenticity are also included. There’s also a small icon and text to indicate the disposable features a low e-juice/battery LED display screen.
Finally, on the reverse of the packaging you’ll find the disposable name, the total puff capacity, the e-juice ingredients and a whole host of sale restrictions, nicotine warnings etc. The manufacturer address, telephone number and website URL are also clearly displayed.
Like I mentioned earlier, the OXBAR Magic Maze Pro disposable is sealed within a protective foil wrapper.
Getting at the disposable is as simple as tearing open one end of the foil wrapper and sliding the Magic Maze Pro out.
It’s pre-charged and ready to enjoy, but before you start puffing away you’ll need to remove the silicone plug from the mouthpiece of the disposable …
… and the sticker at the base, covering the airflow slider and the Type-C USB charging port.
As soon as these have both been removed, you’re all set to vape!
OXBAR Magic Maze Pro | Design & Appearance
If you asked me to design the perfect disposable, it would look a lot like the OXBAR Magic Maze Pro.
It’s not often I find a disposable worthy of this much praise, but there’s only a single thing I’d change about the OXBAR Magic Maze Pro and that’s the lack of pass-through charging. For those that don’t know, this just means you won’t be able to vape it while it’s plugged in and charging.
Aside from that minor issue, I absolutely freaking love how they’ve designed this disposable!
First and foremost, I’m a big fan of the route OXBAR have gone with in terms of size and shape, with the Magic Maze Pro disposable resembling the old box-mod style vape devices, albeit on a smaller scale, weighing in at only 80g total.
However, that’s not to say the Magic Maze Pro is small.
In fact it’s one of the larger disposables we’ve reviewed, which I know might not suit everybody. Especially if you’re switching from something with a lower puff total like the Fifty Bar or Lost Vape OB5500. It’s very much a personal preference, but for me it’s just under the threshold of what I’d consider too big.
If you’re at all familiar with the recent trend toward disposables with a 9,000 puff total or higher, like the Vozol Star 9000 and/or MOTI Duo 9000 for example, you’ll know roughly what to expect from the OXBAR Magic Maze Pro in terms of size.
Measuring in at 88mm in height, 50mm in width and 22.2mm in depth, the OXBAR Magic Maze Pro will still fit comfortably in your hand and doesn’t feel too bulky in your pocket. Which in itself is quite an impressive feat considering it holds 12ml of e-juice and a 900mAh rechargeable battery!
As a point of interest, the only other disposable we’ve reviewed with a 10,000 puff total is the Lost Vape Orion Bar 10000 and there’s very little difference between it and the Magic Maze Pro in terms of their size dimensions.
Anyway, it’s not all about size right? …
Aesthetically speaking, the Magic Maze Pro disposable is unique and eye-catching. The main body of the disposable is made from a transparent polycarbonate outer shell with ‘OXBAR PRO’ and the flavor name etched onto the surface in a large, bold font.
Underneath this outer polycarbonate shell is a chequered, three-dimensional pattern in a gradient color scheme that matches the disposable flavor. Pink Burst Chew is pink, Sakura Grape is purple and so on.
The design is similar in style to the OXBAR G8000 I mentioned previously – quirky, modern and fun. OXBAR have mastered the art of producing bold and unique disposables that really stand apart, without crossing over into gaudy or cartoonish territory.
Getting back to the design layout, the bottom 1/3 of the disposable is a solid plastic section, also color-coded to match the flavor. On this plastic section you’ll find ‘MAGIC MAZE’ printed to the left and the LED display screen to the right.
The LED display screen has a single button at the bottom and pressing it once will cycle through the current wattage, e-juice and battery level. Press it more than once and you’ll start cycling through the variable wattage within the range of 11 – 15 watts.
We’ll talk more about wattage later, but for now I’ll say the option to adjust wattage is a game-changer as far as disposables are concerned and I’m seriously impressed OXBAR included it!
On the underside of the disposable you’ll find the equally impressive adjustable airflow slider. It’s a feature that’s becoming more popular with newer disposable releases, but it’s yet another fantastic addition to the already impressive design spec.
Initially set to the left position and fully open, the slider allows you to completely tailor the airflow and draw to suit whatever vaping style you prefer! Just slide the airflow slider to the right if you want a tighter draw and experiment to find your ideal spot.
Next to the airflow slide is a single LED indicator the lights up when you take a puff and the Type-C USB charging port.
Charging is quick and easy – just plug a USB cable into the OXBAR Magic Maze Pro and connect the other end to a suitable charging outlet.
A full charge will take about an hour and the LED screen will display the battery level until you’re at 100% at which point the screen will switch off.
Finally, at the top of the disposable you’ll find the duck-bill style mouthpiece and lanyard loop. The OXBAR Magic Maze Pro features auto-draw, which means you just puff on the mouthpiece to activate the coil. There’s no firing button to fiddle with and the auto-draw function worked perfectly each and every time I took a puff.
Overall I think OXBAR have done a truly amazing job in terms of design!
The Magic Maze Pro has almost everything you could possibly want from a disposable, with the sole exception of pass-through charging. It looks and feels fantastic, holds a massive amount of e-juice and features adjustable airflow and variable wattage! Magic Maze Pro – where have you been all my life?!
OXBAR Magic Maze Pro | Performance
If the design and appearance impressed me, the performance absolutely blew my socks off!
First of all, the standout feature for me was the amazing longevity, both in terms of overall lifespan and battery life between charging. The OXBAR Magic Maze Pro is advertised as a 10,000 puff disposable and although I didn’t count the total number of puffs, each disposable lasted me a mind-blowing 14 days!
Keep in mind that I also vape pretty heavily throughout the day, with my daily puff total somewhere in the region of 600 – 700 puffs. A casual or moderate vaper is likely to get significantly longer out of each Magic Maze Pro. If you take 200 puffs a day for example, you could expect each disposable to last you up to 50 days!
Yes, FIFTY days!
We’ll take more about price per disposable a bit further down, but with that kind of longevity you’re getting incredible value for money!
OXBAR have managed to pull this off by by including their innovative, long-lasting UNIONE coil.
The battery life between charging is equally impressive, with the 900mAh capacity battery lasting at least 2 and a half days of heavy vaping before needing to be recharged. The beauty of this kind of battery life is that you can take a single, fully charged Magic Maze Pro with you if you’re staying somewhere overnight (or even away for the entire weekend!) without having to carry a back-up disposable or charging cable.
The obvious disclaimer or caveat to all of the above (and a nice segue into my 2nd favorite thing about the Magic Maze Pro disposable!) is the fact that overall longevity and battery life are very much tied to the adjustable wattage.
More specifically, the higher you choose to set your wattage, the faster you’ll burn through the 12ml of e-juice and deplete the 900mAh battery. For me personally, the sweet spot was a consistent 12w and this delivered the perfect balance between flavor, vapor production and longevity, including battery life.
However, I absolutely love the fact OXBAR have included variable wattage on the Magic Maze Pro. Being able to crank the watts all the way up to the maximum 15w whenever you fancy a boost in performance really sets it apart from the other disposables on the market!
Airflow is fully adjustable, with fully closed providing a very tight MTL (mouth-to-lung) and fully open providing a decent RDTL (restricted-direct-to-lung).
Personally I prefer the airflow somewhere in-between, which I found gave me the perfect MTL draw to simulate the act of smoking a cigarette.
Vapor production at 12w with the airflow set to a somewhat tight MTL draw was impressive, with a surprisingly thick and creamy plume of the white stuff. As expected, it’s not quite on par with the vapor produced by a sub-ohm tank or rebuildable dripper but it’s definitely enough for the average vaper.
Not to labor the point about how versatile the Magic Maze Pro is, but again if you’re not too concerned with overall longevity or battery life, you can experiment with the airflow slider and variable wattage to maximize the vapor produced until you find your perfect set-up.
It’s a bold claim to make, but the OXBAR Magic Maze Pro produces some of the best flavor I’ve experienced from a disposable to date!
Finally, the throat hit and nicotine delivery are also excellent for me personally. Each puff was smooth and satisfying, with the noticeable throat kick you’d expect from a 50mg/ml disposable.
If you can’t tell already, there’s hardly anything I don’t love about the OXBAR Magic Maze Pro disposable! The adjustable airflow and wattage allows you to completely tailor your vape experience, the longevity and battery life are amazing and the flavor output is enough to satisfy even the fussiest of flavor-connoisseurs!

If you like fruity-based flavors you’re in luck but it would be nice to see a few dessert-based flavors or a tobacco blend. However, OXBAR have confirmed they’re working on additional flavors, due to be released soon!
Out of the 15 different flavors, OXBAR very kindly sent us 5 flavors to try so I’ll describe each of them as best I can below.
Pink Burst Chew
The Pink Burst Chew flavor is a delicious blend of sweet, fresh strawberry and sugary candy.
This was the first flavor I tried and I found it extremely hard to put down!
It’s quite hard to describe, with a subtle, almost chalky vibe but it’s unbelievably tasty and sure to be a popular flavor among the candy flavor-heads!
Fruity Pebz
The Fruity Pebz flavor is a mouth-watering, fruity explosion of flavor, reminiscent of the popular ‘taste the rainbow’ candy.
There are multiple fruity flavor notes in this one and it somehow simultaneously tastes like freshly picked fruit and sweet candy!
It’s another flavor that’s absolutely delicious and easily an all-day vape for me!
Blue Razz
The Blue Razz flavor is a mix of sharp, tart blueberries and sweet, juicy raspberries on the exhale.
It’s a popular flavor and often used by disposable manufacturers but OXBAR again seem to deliver a little something extra with the flavor recipe!
It’s another perfectly blended flavor and I’d find it difficult to pick a favorite among the flavors I’ve listed so far.
Sakura Grape
Unfortunately, this was the only flavor I wasn’t overly keen on.
Not because it’s a bad flavor by any means, it’s just that I’m really not fond of grape flavored e-juice.
It’s a sweet, white grape with a candy vibe so if that’s your cup of tea this one might interest you.
Rainbow Blast
This one took me by surprise!
I expected this to taste similar to the Fruity Pebz flavor but this has a more tropical cocktail vibe, with an almost citrusy note on the inhale.
It’s another flavor that tastes exactly like freshly picked fruit and I could happily vape it all day!
Overall four of the five flavors I tested were all absolutely amazing and I was genuinely disappointed when they ran out! I’ve said it before, but OXBAR have nailed the flavor recipes and the Magic Maze Pro is easily one of the best disposables money can buy in terms of the flavor output!
OXBAR Magic Maze Pro | Price
Considering the exceptional design, build-quality and performance, I expected the OXBAR Magic Maze Pro disposable to retail for over $20.
I know that’s on the higher end of the price scale for a disposable vape but with a 10,000 puff total, adjustable airflow and variable wattage, I had a hard time picturing the Magic Maze Pro going for anything less than $20 – possibly even more!
However, a quick Google search later and I’m gob-smacked to confirm it’s available for as low as $14.99!
Each disposable I tested lasted 14 days, which means even if you vape heavily you’ll only need to buy a couple of Magic Maze Pro disposables a month! Not bad at all when you consider the equivalent smoking cost!

The longevity, battery life, flavor and vapor are all absolutely exceptional and the adjustable airflow and wattage is just the icing on the cake!
If I could only recommend a single disposable in 2023 it would be the OXBAR Magic Maze Pro and if you’re looking for a fantastic, long-lasting device with outstanding performance and heaps of features to boot, this is it!
