RandM Digital Box 12000 Disposable Vape Review | 12000 Puffs of Delicious Flavor!

This week we’re taking a look at the RandM Digital Box 12000, the latest disposable vape from the hugely popular RandM vape brand!

It’s not our first foray into the world of RandM disposable vapes; in fact we reviewed the Tornado 9000 and the TPD-compliant VASE earlier this year, both highly impressive in terms of performance and flavor!

Now with a significant increase in e-juice capacity and number of puffs, RandM look set to raise the bar yet again with their brand new Digital Box 12000 disposable.

The Digital Box 12000 not only boasts an incredible 20ml of e-juice and 12000 total puffs, but also features a smart LED display to keep track of your remaining e-juice and battery levels. Furthermore, it’s packed with a 550mAh rechargeable battery and a 0.8ohm mesh coil for improved flavor and vapor!

As if that wasn’t already enough, the Digital Box 12000 disposable is available in a jaw-dropping 49 different flavors!

It’s also available in a range of different nicotine strength options; from 0mg/ml all the way up to 50mg/ml nicotine strength, making it ideal for those looking to make the switch from a heavy smoking habit.

A quick word of warning though, as a non TPD compliant disposable you won’t be able to purchase the RandM Digital Box 12000 in the UK or EU regions.

What’s in the Box?

RandM were kind enough to send us 5 of their Digital Box 12000 flavors to review; Berry Lemonade, Raspberry Watermelon, Strawberry Pomp, Lush Ice and Bluesour Raspberry.

The retail packaging for the Digital Box 12000 disposable features a ton of useful information. On the front you’ll see an image of the disposable along with the e-juice capacity, flavor name and a mandatory nicotine warning.

The sides of the packaging also confirm the total number of puffs…

… ,the nicotine strength and a QR code to check the authenticity of the disposable inside.

On the back of the box you’ll find the usual nicotine warnings along with an ingredients list and the product manufacturer details. You’ll also find another QR code that takes you directly to the RandM website if you want to check out their other disposables.

Once you remove your RandM Digital Box 12000 disposable from the foil wrapper within the packaging…

… you’ll have to remove the silicone plug from the mouthpiece…

and peel off the sticker blocking the airflow and charge port.

After those few simple steps you’re good to start vaping!

RandM Digital Box 12000 | Design & Appearance

True to RandM form, the Digital Box 12000 is both compact and lightweight, despite the impressive 20ml e-juice capacity, 550mAh rechargeable battery and LED display!

With dimensions of 90mm in height, 50mm in width and 29mm in depth, the RandM Digital Box 12000 is actually one of the most compact multi-day disposables we’ve reviewed this year. Quite an impressive feat by RandM considering the e-juice capacity and battery size!

While it’s not quite as compact as the original Tornado 9000, the Digital Box 12000 does offer a considerable increase in the total number of puffs! It’s very much a case of objective preference, but personally I’d rather the increase in total puffs over a more compact disposable every time.

With a total weight of just 70g it’s also incredibly convenient for vaping on the go. I often carried my main Digital Box 12000 disposable and a spare, yet barely noticed them in my pocket! This lightweight and compact design also make it surprisingly comfortable to hold in your hand.

The smooth Polycarbonate shell also aids in comfort, without sacrificing on grip. Those of you who know me will be surprised to hear I didn’t actually drop any of the Digital Box 12000 samples RandM sent us!

Regardless, the Digital Box actually looks like it could handle the odd drop here and there. It’s sturdy and well-built, nothing like the flimsy, fragile disposables you’d find in your nearest gas station. In short, the Digital Box 12000 feels like a premium disposable.

Let’s get something else out of the way as early as possible in the review… there’s a large, cartoon monkey printed on the front of the RandM Digital Box 12000! For those of you old enough to remember, the character is reminiscient of the gorilla security guard in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and each of the disposables we received featured a slightly different, unique and quirky design.

This quirky design really sets the RandM Digital Box 12000 apart from just about every other disposable out there, and it’s easily one of the most eye-catching devices we’ve reviewed!

As previously mentioned, the main body of the disposable is constructed out of Polycarbonate, while the base is a silver, reflective Aluminium. Each of the flavors RandM sent us came in a different, vibrant color and the overall aesthetic (cartoon monkey included!) is top-notch.

In terms of shape, the RandM Digital Box 12000 is rectangular with smooth, rounded edges. Branding is minimal, with “FUMOT” printed on the front and “Digital Box 12000” and the flavor name printed on the reverse.

You’ll also find the LED display on the front of the disposable, situated slightly above the Aluminium base. This is the standout feature for me, with indications for both the total remaining e-juice and remaining battery level in the current charge. It’s a feature that’s becoming more common with the larger, rechargeable disposables and it’s great to see it included here!

The LED is also incredibly user-friendly. Whenever you draw on the RandM Digital Box 12000, the display will illuminate and show the remaining battery charge as a percentage. Just to the right of the current battery level is an oval shaped e-juice indicator, with colored lines representing the remaining e-juice.

It’s such a useful feature to have on a disposable vape, eliminating any concerns you usually have about running out of e-juice or battery 10 minutes after leaving the house! With the RandM Digital Box 12000, a quick draw on the mouthpiece will instantly tell you how much you’ve got left.

Overall I love the design and aesthetics of the RandM Digital Box 12000! It’s quirky, unique and colorful without being overtly childish or gimmicky. All too often, vape companies release the same tired design and it’s refreshing to see something completely different.

Design and aesthetics aside, the RandM Digital Box 12000 has been designed and as a simple, easy to use disposable. It’s draw-activated with a set power output, so no buttons or adjustments to be made in terms of wattage.

To activate the coil and take a puff, it’s as simple as drawing on the mouthpiece. The auto-draw feature worked flawlessly each and every time across all 5 of the disposables I tested and it only takes the lightest of draws to activate.

The mouthpiece is the standard duck-billed design, perfect for MTL vaping. It’s made entirely of polycarbonate and extremely comfortable to vape on. It’s also color-coded to match the body of the disposable and protrudes approximately 11mm.

On the underside of the base you’ll find the Type-C USB (0.5A) charging port. There’s no cable included, but charging is simple; just plug a Type-C USB cable into the port and plug it in to a suitable outlet. I found that a full charge took about 45 minutes, not too bad at all!

All things considered, I’m really impressed with the design and appearance of the RandM Digital Box 12000. It’s unique and eye-catching, easy to use and incredibly compact and lightweight! In fact, of the RandM disposables I’ve reviewed up until this point, the Digital Box 12000 is easily my favorite.

The only negative I can think to mention is the fact the Digital Box 12000 doesn’t feature adjustable airflow. I’ll talk more about the draw in the next section (for me it’s pretty much perfect) but it would have been great to see some type of adjustable airflow slider.

That’s a pretty minor gripe though to be fair, especially considering how impressed I am with every other aspect of the Digital Box 12000!

RandM Digital Box 12000 | Performance

In terms of performance, the RandM Digital Box 12000 is even more impressive!

First things first, the standout feature for me is the incredible lifespan and sheer length of vaping time each disposable provides.

Just as advertised, the RandM Digital Box 12000 will last you roughly 12,000 puffs. I didn’t count every puff as this would have been an absolute nightmare, but what I did do was count how many puffs I took in a single day (582) and multiplied that by the total number of days each RandM Digital Box 12000 lasted me before it gave up the ghost.

All 5 of the disposables RandM sent us lasted at least 20 full days before the e-juice ran dry. Multiplying the total number of days (20) by the total number of daily puffs (582) gives us a total puff count of 11,640.

I vape pretty heavily throughout the day with my vape never too far from my hand, and a 20 day lifespan is incredible! A casual or social vaper is likely to take far fewer puffs, let’s say somewhere in the region of 200 – 250 puffs per day. At that rate, each RandM Digital Box 12000 could potentially last up to 60 days!

We’ll talk more about price in a moment, but with numbers like those above, the value you’re getting for the money is off the charts!

I also found myself impressed with the battery life, which is actually not what I’d been expecting. When I saw the Digital Box 12000 came with a 550mAh battery, I’d anticipated around a day of vaping before needing to recharge. Not amazing, but not necessarily a big deal either. Instead I actually managed to get closer to the 2 day mark before the battery died, a pleasant surprise.

For me this meant I could take a fully charged RandM Digital Box 12000 out with me for the entire day without worrying about running out of battery and leaving me without a nicotine fix before I could make it home in the evening to recharge.

When the battery and/or e-juice does run out, the relevant indicator on the LED display will flash several times to let you know. Likewise, if you’re charging the disposable via the USB-C charging port, the LED display will stay permanently lit to display the charging status and battery level.

As I mentioned earlier, a full charge of the 550mAh battery will take approximately 45 minutes.

Equally as impressive is the volume of vapor the RandM Digital Box 12000 produces! It’s above and beyond the smoke you’d inhale if smoking a cigarette, and while you won’t be filling a room, the vapor is thick, dense and fluffy.

The lack of adjustable airflow means you won’t be able to tweak the vapor production (or flavor for that matter) but the 0.8ohm coil produces more than enough of the white stuff for your average vaper.

While we’re on the subject of airflow; the draw on the RandM Digital Box 12000 is absolutely ideal for me personally. It’s a traditional MTL draw; not too tight, not too loose. Perfectly replicating the act of smoking a cigarette.

Throat hit and nicotine delivery are also impressive, especially considering the samples RandM sent us were the 20mg/ml nicotine strength option. It’s available in a 50mg/ml option and I would hazard a guess it packs quite a punch!

As I mentioned previously, the auto-draw function worked flawlessly across all 5 samples RandM sent us and the 0.8ohm mesh coil provides consistent flavor and vapor throughout the lifespan of the disposable. It’s also worth mentioning I didn’t experience a single dry hit, leak or any other issue during my time testing the RandM Digital Box 12000.

I’ve left the best till last, which in this case is the flavor. Each and every RandM Digital Box 12000 I tested was absolutely bursting with delicious flavor! It’s clear RandM have spent a great deal of time perfecting their e-juice recipes and each flavor was dense, full-bodied and well-blended.

Overall I’m actually really surprised by the performance on offer with the RandM Digital Box 12000. The lifespan, vapor production and flavor are all absolutely fantastic and it’s easily the best disposable I’ve reviewed from RandM to date!

As you can see, the list is huge and there’s plenty of variety in the flavor range. It’s also great to see menthol and tobacco options available!

I’ll do my best to describe the 5 flavors RandM sent us!

Berry Lemonade

The Berry Lemonade flavor is a delicious mix of sweet, fruity berry and fizzy, sharp lemonade.

It’s arguably one of the more refreshing flavors in the range, packed full of flavor and perfect for the warmer weather. The sweetness of the berry is most prominent on the initial inhale, with the lemonade leaving a deliciously fizzy aftertase.

Easily an all-day vape for me!

Raspberry Watermelon

Raspberry Watermelon is a mouth-watering blend of sweet raspberry and ripe, juicy watermelon.

I’m a big fan of watermelon as a flavor note in e-juice, and RandM have absolutely nailed the watermelon in this recipe. It’s ripe, sweet and authentic tasting, with none of the usual chemical notes you usually pick up with watermelon juice.

Another all-day vape for me and possibly my favorite of the 5 I tried!

Strawberry Pomp

Strawberry Pomegranate is a medley of sweet, juicy strawberry and ripe, sharp pomegranate.

The sweet and sharp work perfectly together in this recipe. The strawberry is most noticeable on the inhale, with the almost bitter pomegranate leaving a delicious aftertaste.

It’s not necessarily a flavor I could vape all-day but I found this one perfect for after a meal!

Lush Ice

The Lush Ice flavor was difficult to pin down!

I couldn’t find an official note breakdown, but I’m getting a dense berry (perhaps strawberry) flavor note, blended perfectly with a sharp icy freshness on the inhale.

Again this is another flavor perfect for the warmer weather and one I found difficult to put down!

Bluesour Raspberry

The Bluesour Raspberry flavor is an absolutely mouth-watering blend of sharp, sour blueberry and sweet, dense raspberry.

The blueberry and raspberry are a delicious combo and compliment each other perfectly. This would have been my favorite it not for the Raspberry Watermelon!

Another fantastic flavor!

RandM Digital Box 12000 | Price

At the time of writing, the RandM Digital Box 12000 is available for around $10, which is absolutely incredible considering the amazing design, performance and flavor on offer!

When you factor in the total puff capacity, and as previously mentioned the fact the Digital Box 12000 lasted me around 20 full days of vaping, it’s fantastic value for money!

The total monthly cost is significantly lower than the cost of smoking, or even non-rechargeable disposables (typically lasting a single day for me). This cost pales in comparison to the price you’d pay for cigarettes or even single day disposables like the popular RandM Vase.

I don’t usually recommend using disposables as your only vaping device, but a disposable of this quality for as low as $10 that could quite easily last you a full month is an absolute steal!

Overall I couldn’t be more impressed with the RandM Digital Box 12000!

The vapor production, flavor, battery life and overall lifespan are all absolutely fantastic and personally I’d happily use the RandM Digital Box 12000 as my main daily vape!

My only little nitpick is the lack of adjustable airflow, although it’s not a deal-breaker for me. Especially considering the incredibly low price tag!

All things considered, I highly recommend the RandM Digital Box 12000 disposable.
