This is the second Tornado disposable we’ve reviewed in 2024 (the first was the fantastic Tornado 9000 disposable) and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the latest upgrade!

What’s in the Box?

The individual Movkin Tornado 20000 comes packaged in a bright, colorful box. Inside the box is a sealed, foil wrapper protecting the disposable. The packaging is color coded so the color of the box matches the flavor of the disposable inside, and all the information you’re likely to ever want is clearly displayed.

The disposable name, flavor and product features are printed on the front of the packaging with a large picture of the Tornado 20000. The usual nicotine warning is also displayed.

On the left facing side of the box is the nicotine strength you’ve chosen, and again the disposable name is printed in large white font. You’ll also find a QR code you can scan to check if the disposable you’ve purchased is authentic.

The right facing side again displays a heap of product features – everything from the e-juice capacity to the dual mesh coil and airflow control.

On the reverse of the box you can find the e-juice ingredients, additional nicotine warnings and a QR code that will take you to the official website.

Overall I really like the packaging design – it’s bright, bold and colorful with everything you’d possibly need to know printed clearly in a decent size font.

I do have one small issue though; there’s no mention of the PG/VG ratio on the packaging. It’s not a huge deal, but those with a PG Intolerance would absolutely find it useful.

Inside the box you’ll find the Tornado 20000 protected inside a foil wrapper. Just tear open this wrapper and the disposable should slide right out.

Finally, before you’re ready to vape you’ll need to remove the sticker from the base of the disposable …

… and the silicone plug from the mouthpiece …

The Tornado 20000 comes pre-charged and ready to vape, so once you’ve removed the sticker and plug you’re all good to go.

Movkin Tornado 20000 | Design & Appearance

Ok, so moving on to the design and appearance.

Just like the previous Movkin disposables we reviewed, I like almost everything about the Tornado 20000.

However, I do have two issues that I’ll talk about now.

The first is the lack of pass-through vaping. It’s a fairly minor issue, but it’s included on most disposables and it’s disappointing not to see it featured here. I’m extremely impatient (especially when I need a nicotine fix) and I hate not being able to vape the Tornado 20000 while it’s charging.

The second, and in my opinion far more significant issue, is the ambiguity regarding the adjustable switch on the bottom of the Tornado 20000. The packaging suggests the switch is airflow control, however the Movkin website states the switch adjusts the “coil heating mode” whatever that means.

The LED smart display also changes between “S” and “D” when you move the switch from left to right. Presumably this is to indicate you’re switching from a single mesh coil to dual mesh coils but that doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with airflow.

The switch also isn’t fully adjustable like you’d expect if it was in fact airflow control; you can only select either fully left or fully right.

To be blunt it’s not entirely clear what the switch on the bottom of the Tornado 20000 actually does! I did notice a slight increase in flavor and vapor production while vaping in the “D” setting, so I think it would have made more sense to just call it a boost mode or something similar.

But that’s my little rant out of the way.

Aside from those two issues, everything else about the Tornado 20000 was absolutely spot on for me personally!

I will take this opportunity to made it clear however, the Movkin Tornado 20000 is a big disposable… I know some of you aren’t keen on the larger, bulkier disposables so keep that in mind. Personally I love the larger disposabes and that’s exactly what you get with the Tornado 20000.

In fact it’s one of the biggest disposables we’ve reviewed, with measurements of 99mm in height, 54mm in width and 26mm in depth.

With that said, the Movkin Tornado 20000 is still more than comfortable to hold and it’s not so big that you can’t carry it with you on the go. You shouldn’t have any problem carrying it in your pants pocket, even if you want to take a spare.

Interestingly, it’s also surprisingly lightweight for a disposable of this size, weighing in at only 87g.

Moving on to the design and aesthetics, the Tornado 20000 disposable is a rectangular shaped, box-mod style device made from Polycarbonate. The body of the disposable (including the mouthpiece!) is color-coded to match the flavor, with a gradient color scheme and criss-crossing pattern that really helps with grip.

Running the full height of the disposable on the right hand side is a transparent section in which you’ll find the large, LED smart display. The LED smart display lights up every time you take a puff, displaying the remaining e-juice and battery level.

It’s impossible to get a clear picture due to the glare, but the display screen is excellent and easily one of the better displays I’ve seen on a disposable. It’s bright, clear and easy to read even in outdoor lighting.

At the very top of the display there’s a loop for a lanyard to be attached if you like to wear your vape around your neck. I don’t personally but it’s nice they’ve included it here.

In terms of branding, Movkin have kept things basic – just the disposable name and flavor name printed on the device in a sleek, white font.

On the base of the Tornado 20000 you’ll find the Type-C USB charging port and the aforementioned slider/switch.

Charging the disposable is easy, just plug a USB cable into the port and connect the other end to a suitable outlet. Like I said previously, it’s a shame they didn’t include pass-through vaping but a full charge will only take about an hour.

Overall I think Movkin have done a good job with the Tornado 20000. I love the size, design and LED smart display. I’m not as thrilled about the lack of pass-through vaping or the adjustable ‘airflow’ switch but it’s definitely a disposable I’d be happy to vape long-term.

Movkin Tornado 20000 | Performance

In terms of performance, I don’t have a single complaint.

First of all, the quality and strength of the flavor is outstanding. Even when testing flavors I didn’t particularly enjoy, it was hard not to be impressed by the quality and it’s clear Movkin know what they’re doing when it comes to crafting well-blended e-juice that’s absolutely bursting with flavor.

Another major positive is the sheer amount of time each Tornado 20000 disposable lasts!

I tend to vape heavily throughout the day, and yet I still managed to get over 20 days of vaping out of each Tornado 20000 disposable we tested! It’s been a while since I counted my daily puff total, but I think it’s probably somewhere in the region of 800 – 1000 puffs per day, which means the Tornado 20000 falls nicely within the stated range.

This of course means if you vape casually or less frequently throughout the day compared to me, you could reasonably expect the Tornado 20000 to last you up to a month! Not bad at all when you consider the price (more on this later).

The 900mAh battery also performed exceptionally well, providing around 2 full days of heavy use before it needed to be recharged. I would say regardless of how frequently you puff, you should have absolutely no problem getting a full day out of a single charge without worrying about taking a charging cable with you.

Just a quick note, while the Tornado 20000 disposable is charging, the LED smart display will remain lit until the battery is fully charged, at which point the LED smart display will turn off.

Another huge selling point is the density and volume of vapor the Tornado 20000 produces! Each puff produced a thick, fluffy plume of the white stuff – easily exceeding the smoke you’d inhale from a cigarette.

Airflow, throat hit and nicotine delivery are also perfect. The auto-draw sensor works perfectly and the airflow provides a nice restrictive MTL draw, not too tight but not too loose. Each puff delivers a satisfying throat hit as well, although this is to be expected at 20mg and 50mg nicotine strength.

Like I mentioned previously, the switch on the base of the Tornado 20000 didn’t seem to affect the airflow or draw for me personally. Perhaps a very slight difference but nothing to write home about. What I did notice however, was that the flavor, vapor and throat hit were dialled up when switching to the “D” setting, which is a nice touch if you like a bit more ‘oomph’ in your vape.

Overall I’m impressed with the performance of the Tornado 20000 disposable. Flavor, vapor production, throat hit, battery life and longevity are all perfect and it more than makes up for my issues with the lack of pass-through vaping and the design of the adjustable slider.

Not only is it a huge range of flavors to choose from, but there’s also plenty of variety. Fruity flavors are the clear winner, but there’s also menthol options and dessert style flavor recipes to choose from. The only thing missing appears to be a tobacco blend, which would be great to see in a future flavor release.

Movkin very generously sent us 8 different flavors to put to the test, so I’ll give you my brief thoughts on each.

Blueberry Raspberry Hard Candy

Sharp, ripe blueberry and sweet, juicy raspberry but with a dominant candy vibe rather than authentic tasting fruit if that makes any sense!

Perfectly blended and absolutely delicious.

Cotton Candy

This was a little too sweet for me.

I can taste a mix of fruity flavor notes with a dense sweetness (perfect if you have a sweet-tooth!) and a slight icy kick on the inhale.

Peach Pineapple Orange

Wow, this one is easily my favorite and it’s not a recipe I’ve ever tried before.

Pineapple is the dominant flavor note for me, but the juicy peach and sweet, sharp orange add a really intesting and unique layer to this flavor.

Peach Mango Watermelon

Juicy peach, sharp mango and subtle but incredibly authentic watermelon.

Another personal favorite, I found this one hard to put down.

Pina Colada

Another delicious flavor, this is coconut and pineapple on steroids!

Sharp, sweet and bursting with flavor.

Strawberry Ice Cream

I’m a big fan of dessert based e-juice and this one really hit the spot for me.

It’s sweet and creamy with a delicious aftertaste.

Huckleberry

Far too sweet for me!

In terms of flavor, this is somewhat similar to the blueberry flavor note, albeit quite a bit sweeter.

Strawberry Watermelon

Again I’m impressed at how authentic the watermelon note is!

Sweet strawberry with ripe, juicy watermelon – this is another flavor I found hard to put down.

In terms of price, I’ve seen the Movkin Tornado available online for as little as $10.99!

Movkin Tornado 20000 | Verdict

Overall I think the Movkin Tornado 20000 is a brilliant little (or not so little!) disposable.

Yes I had issues with the lack of pass-through vaping and the ‘airflow’ slider. However, these didn’t actually detract from the performance or function of the disposable.

In all the metrics that actually matter, such as flavor, vapor production, battery life and longevity, the Tornado 20000 actually exceeded my expectations.

Would I consider it an upgrade over the original Tornado disposable?

Yes.

Would I be happy vaping the Tornado 20000 again?

Absolutely.
