Over several days of use, I ran the SP2S Touch through all three power modes, tested pod longevity, and swapped flavors frequently to see how the airflow and throat hit held up across the range.

On paper, it’s a great little kit: small, smart, and efficient. But as always, the real test comes in day-to-day performance, and while there’s plenty to like here, a few things might divide opinion depending on your preferences.

It houses a 450mAh internal battery, which provides around 18 hours of use on a single charge – and it’s good to see SP2S include USB Type-C charging with full pass-through functionality, meaning you can vape while it’s charging. A full charge takes roughly 45 minutes, which is pretty standard at this capacity.

One of the most unique features of the Touch is its three-level power control system. Instead of a traditional button, you simply tap the USB-C port three times to cycle between Smooth, Classic, and Boost modes. The LED indicators immediately flash to confirm your selection – orange for Smooth, white for Classic, and green (with rainbow side lighting) for Boost. It’s a subtle but satisfying touch that gives you instant visual feedback without overcomplicating the experience.

Each mode slightly adjusts the power output within the 7W – 8.25W range, delivering small but noticeable changes in vapor density, flavor warmth, and throat hit. The pod packaging design takes a slightly different approach – mostly black with a bold accent color that reflects the flavor inside (Lychee, Watermelon, Passionfruit, Mojito, and so on).

The front of the pod box features a large image of the pod, the flavor name, and another nicotine warning. It’s functional but still visually appealing, and there’s no confusion about what you’re getting.

Unboxing the SP2S Touch Kit leaves a positive first impression. Everything feels tidy, deliberate, and well thought out – from the sturdy insert that holds the device securely in place to the clean typography and matte finish on the packaging. SP2S Touch Pod | Performance

I spent just over a week using the SP2S Touch as my main daily vape, rotating through four different flavors – Lychee, Watermelon, Passionfruit, and Mojito – and cycling between all three power modes. The short version? It’s a genuinely capable little device that performs far better than its size or simplicity might suggest.

Let’s start with flavor, because that’s the heart of any pod system. SP2S clearly know what they’re doing when it comes to e-liquid formulation. Each pod produced a clean, vibrant, full-bodied flavor that stayed consistent from start to finish. The ceramic coil (rated at 1.0Ω) does an excellent job of keeping the liquid tasting pure, with zero signs of burnt notes or muted tones, even toward the end of the pod’s life. There was no drop-off in performance – the first puff tasted just as fresh and punchy as the last.

That said, I did find the menthol component to be overpowering across all four flavors I tested. The cooling agent hits hard – so hard, in fact, that it often overpowers the underlying fruit notes. It’s not unpleasant by any means, but it’s intense. If you’re a fan of very cold, icy vapes, you’ll probably love it; if you prefer a more balanced or subtle chill, it might take some getting used to. Airflow is another strong point. There’s no adjustable slider here, but the fixed draw is tuned really well – a medium resistance that sits neatly between tight and open. It’s restrictive enough to replicate the feel of smoking a cigarette but airy enough that it could almost pass as a restricted-direct-lung (RDTL) draw with a longer puff. For me, it was near-perfect. Smooth, consistent, and free of turbulence or whistle.

Throat hit and nicotine delivery are strong – maybe a little too strong for some. I was using the 20mg/ml nic salt pods, and each puff hit hard and fast. Combined with the aggressive menthol, it can verge on harsh at times, particularly in Boost mode, though it’s never unpleasant or irritating. It’s a punchy, cigarette-like sensation that ex-smokers will probably find very satisfying.

The auto-draw activation is flawless. The sensor picks up even the lightest of inhales, and throughout my entire testing period I didn’t experience a single misfire, delay, or dud pull. That’s not something you can say for every pod system – especially in this size range – and it really adds to the overall sense of quality.

Battery life is about what you’d expect for a 450mAh cell. I averaged roughly 18 hours of use per charge, which equates to just under a full day of heavy vaping. Light-to-moderate users could easily stretch it into a day and a half. The charging process is quick and painless – around 45 minutes from empty to full – and thanks to pass-through support, you can continue vaping while it’s plugged in.

As for pod lifespan, SP2S rates each pod at around 300 puffs, and that estimate is fairly accurate. I typically got about 12 hours of heavy vaping before a pod ran dry, which worked out to roughly one and a half pods per day. The pods stayed consistent throughout their lifespan, with no leaks, dry hits, or flavor degradation – another sign of solid engineering.

The only real confusion lies in the naming and packaging. Depending on where you look, the device is referred to as the SP2S Touch or the SP2S Tap It, and even the listed pod capacity differs between 2ml and 2.5ml. The pods I received (and the packaging they came in) confirmed 2ml, so I’m inclined to trust that figure. It’s not a major issue, but it does make things a little unclear for buyers trying to confirm what they’re getting.

Overall, the SP2S Touch performs admirably across the board. It’s smooth, consistent, and reliable, with plenty of power for its size and a premium feel in everyday use. The only real drawback is the heavy-handed menthol – but if SP2S tones that down slightly in future flavor batches, they’ll have a seriously well-rounded pod system on their hands.

I couldn’t actually find the full flavor list anywhere on the web, so I can’t confirm the full flavor range at the time of writing. However, SP2S were kind enough to send us four flavors to test – Lychee, Watermelon, Passionfruit, and Mojito – so let’s break down how each of them performed.

Lychee

The Lychee pod is bright, juicy, and very true to the fruit – that delicate mix of sweet, floral, and slightly tart. The inhale delivers an immediate burst of fresh lychee, while the exhale leaves a crisp, perfumed sweetness that lingers nicely on the palate.

Unfortunately, the menthol is extremely strong here. It dominates the mix almost completely, hitting hard in the throat and overshadowing the fruit’s natural subtleties. It’s refreshing, yes, but more in the way an ice bath is refreshing. A bit of restraint on the cooling agent would have allowed the lychee to shine. As it stands, it’s bold and invigorating, but best enjoyed in shorter sessions rather than all day.

Watermelon

Watermelon is one of the most universally popular vape flavors, and SP2S’s version doesn’t disappoint in terms of authenticity. It’s juicy, candy-sweet, and incredibly smooth on the inhale, with that unmistakable watermelon aroma that hits right away. The flavor profile leans more toward fresh fruit than artificial candy, which I really appreciate.

Again though, the menthol kick is seriously powerful. It floods the exhale with an arctic chill that numbs the tongue and throat after a few puffs. While it certainly amplifies the refreshment factor, it also means you lose a bit of the watermelon’s softer sweetness. For menthol lovers, this will be perfect; for everyone else, it might be a bit intense.

Passionfruit

This one was my personal favorite of the four, mainly because the natural sharpness of passionfruit pairs well with the cooling effect. It’s tangy, slightly sour, and bursting with tropical depth – exactly what you want from this type of flavor. The menthol is still strong (as with all of them), but here it actually works with the flavor rather than against it.

The balance between sweetness and acidity makes this pod stand out. It’s bright, zesty, and punchy without being cloying. Even with the pronounced chill, the passionfruit still comes through loud and clear. If SP2S can capture this level of balance across more of their range, they’ll have a real winner on their hands.

Mojito

I was curious about this one – Mojito isn’t a flavor you see all that often in pre-filled pods. SP2S’s version delivers on its promise, combining lime, sugar, and mint in a blend that’s surprisingly convincing. The citrus is sharp but not sour, and the underlying sweetness gives it a refreshing, cocktail-like quality.

The mint note here is strong, but at least thematically it makes sense – it fits the Mojito profile. It’s crisp, cooling, and slightly sweet on the exhale, although the same issue applies: the menthol intensity could be toned down slightly. Still, it’s an enjoyable flavor overall, and one that stands out as a unique option in the lineup.

Across all four flavors, the consistency was excellent – no fading, no burnt taste, and no variation from pod to pod. The ceramic coils deserve credit for that; they maintain flavor purity from the first puff to the last drop of e-juice. If there’s a takeaway here, it’s that SP2S clearly knows how to engineer solid pods – they just need to ease off on the cooling agent a touch.

That puts the SP2S Touch right in the mid-range of closed-pod systems – roughly on par with kits like the Maskking Leco or the RELX Infinity. Considering its design, lighting system, and solid performance, that feels like a fair and realistic price point.

Each pod lasts roughly a full day of moderate-to-heavy vaping, which means a three-pack should cover an average user for about three days. At that rate, the daily running cost works out to roughly $2 to $3 per day, comparable to or cheaper than most premium disposables, and far less than a pack-a-day smoking habit. The device itself is rechargeable and reusable, so once you’ve made the initial investment, your only recurring expense is pod replacement.

In terms of value for money, I’d call it good. You’re getting a well-made, lightweight, metallic device with three power modes, pass-through charging, and reliable ceramic pods. The only potential drawback from a cost perspective is that the pods are non-refillable, meaning you’ll need to keep buying replacements rather than topping up with your own e-juice. Still, that’s standard practice for this style of kit, and the convenience factor goes a long way to justifying it.

Assuming the retail pricing holds steady around the $20-$25 mark, the SP2S Touch lands in a comfortable sweet spot – affordable enough for beginners but premium enough to feel worth the spend. If the brand maintains quality control and ensures widespread pod availability, it could easily become one of the better value pre-filled systems in its class.

After spending a week with the SP2S Touch, I came away genuinely impressed by how well it performs for such a compact little device. It’s sleek, comfortable, and delivers a level of performance that feels closer to a full-featured pod system than a budget kit. The draw is spot on, vapor production is impressive, and the flavor quality – despite being a bit heavy on the menthol – is crisp, full, and consistent from start to finish.

The battery performance is also solid. Eighteen hours from a 450mAh cell is nothing to sniff at, especially with pass-through charging thrown in. If I had to be critical, the biggest issue for me was the overwhelming menthol presence in every flavor I tested. It’s not a dealbreaker (and some vapers will actually love the intensity) but for me, it bordered on too strong to vape continuously.
