Hot off the back of the Argus G2, Voopoo have released its baby brother and we’ve been putting it through its paces. Welcome to our Argus G2 Mini pod kit review.
Its big brother, the Argus G2 which we’ve just reviewed was a great kit with lots of functionality and included 2 Argus pods, USB-C charging cable with a lanyard and incorporated a really funky animated graphics display. The Argus G2 Mini on the other hand is a very simplified budget friendly version with minimal function that’s primarily aimed at new vapers or those wishing to upgrade from disposables.
The good news is the Argus G2 Mini uses the same well renowned Argus pods that Voopoo use across all their other Argus pod kits. These Argus top fill pods produce great results and in my opinion are among some of the best pods around.
As always we will give a quick overview covering the main points and features of the Argus G2 Mini and then jump into the main body of the review covering everything there is to know.
Overview of the Argus G2 Mini
The Argus G2 Mini is a draw activated Mouth-To-Lung (MTL) and Restricted-Direct-To-Lung (RDL) pod device. It’s powered by an internal 1200mAh capacity rechargeable battery with an output power of 30W max.
There’s no fire button or variable wattage control, instead the Argus G2 Mini auto senses the pod resistance and sets the optimum wattage for the pod that’s fitted. One 0.7 ohm Argus top fill pod is supplied with the kit which has a 2ml or 3ml e-liquid capacity depending on your region. The pod has a fixed integrated coil so is NOT replaceable, when the coil degrades the pod is disposed of and a new one fitted.
The other functions on the Argus G2 Mini are an adjustable airflow control lever, a small dual colored LED which lets you know the status of the battery and a colored LED light on the base of the Argus G2 Mini that both illuminate when you draw on the pod. The LED light can be disabled if required by drawing quickly on the pod 3 times within two seconds.
Also on the base is the Type-C USB charging port, specified as 5V/1A which will charge the Argus G2 Mini in around 80 minutes. The kit doesn’t include a charging cable, I’m guessing to keep the price to a minimum, so you will have to use your own.
The shape is very similar to the Argus G2 (flattened tube style) but slightly smaller. The overall size of the Argus G2 Mini including the pod is 115mm high by 25.6mm wide by 13.4mm deep with a weight of 47.75 grams (3ml version). It’s manufactured out of Aluminum Alloy so feels robust while maintaining its light weight.
There are a total of 8 different colors available in the Argus G2 Mini range and the color we received to review was “Sunset Orange” which you can see in the photos throughout this review.
The Argus G2 Mini is Voopoo’s answer in providing a cost effect solution that mimics the simplicity of a disposable with all the benefits of a re-chargeable battery and a refillable pod. Different resistance pods (0.4/0.7/1.2 ohm) in the Argus pod range are compatible with the Argus G2 Mini and their other Argus pod devices. Despite its simplicity it performs really well and is a great alternative to the more costly single use devices.

Note: The height of the Argus G2 Mini specified above was measured with the 3ml pod fitted. Because the 2ml Argus pods are slightly smaller, when fitted to the Argus G2 Mini the overall height reduces to 110mm. The height of the G2 Mini body with no pod fitted is 88mm.

Note: The Argus G2 Mini kit doesn’t include a USB-C charging cable. Most charging cables for mobile phones, tablets or other vaping devices can be used but must have the Type-C connection.
Packaging of the Argus G2 Mini Pod Kit
The packaging of the Argus G2 Mini is very simple, not too dissimilar to the standard disposable packaging we’re used to.
It has a lift open top flap with the Argus G2 Mini and the Argus 0.7 ohm pod attached sealed in a polythene wrapper inside together with the user manual and an information card. The overall dimensions of the packaging box measures 126mm x 36mm x 20mm.
On the front of the box is a photo of the Argus G2 Mini in the color of the included device together with the branding “Voopoo”, “Argus G2 Mini” and a circular badge stating “3X Upgrade; Longevity, Leakproof, Flavor”. The reverse side of the box details the “Contents”, “Manufacturer’s Details”, “CE/Kitemark logo’s”, “Authentication Sticker” and the relevant safety warnings.
The left side of the box states “icosm code Flavor Interpretation”, “1200mAh Battery”, “30W Max Power Output”, “Precise Airflow Adjustment” and a QR code. The right side of the device states “Argus G2 Mini”.
Preparing to Use the Voopoo Argus G2 Mini Kit
When you first unbox your Argus G2 Mini device that’s pre-fitted with the Argus 0.7 ohm pod, remove it from the sealed polythene wrap/bag. The pod is electrically disconnected from the Argus G2 Mini by a clear film protector across the coil plate. You can see from the above photo it just pokes out from the side of the pod.
Take out the Argus pod from the Argus G2 Mini pod recess, remove the thin film coil protector from the base plate of the pod and refit the pod.
Unplug the black silicone rubber e-liquid bung on the side of the Argus pod, fill with e-liquid, refit the rubber bung and wait for 10-15 minutes before you use your Argus G2 Mini. This allows time for your e-liquid to fully saturate the wicking material in the coil.
All that’s left to do is simply draw on the mouthpiece and enjoy.
Voopoo Argus G2 Mini Pod Kit Design and Appearance
Argus G2 Mini Battery/Body
The Voopoo Argus G2 Mini is constructed out of Aluminium Alloy giving it a robust quality feel and measures 88mm tall (excluding the pod), 25.6mm wide by 13.4mm deep and weighs in at 39.7 grams. When the Argus pod is attached, the overall height is 115mm and the combined weight is 47.75 grams. If a 2ml Argus pod is fitted, the overall height slightly reduces to 110mm.
It’s a flattened tube shape MTL and RDL style draw activated device with variable airflow control and has a maximum wattage up to 30W. The wattage is not adjustable; instead the Argus G2 Mini senses the pod resistance and automatically selects the optimum operating wattage (pod specific).
I couldn’t find any figures relating to the power level (wattage) the Argus G2 Mini selects when using the 0.7 ohm pod. The recommended wattage range for the Argus 0.7 ohm pod is 14W – 18W and when used in its bigger brother the Argus G2, the optimum wattage is 16W. I can only assume that the Argus G2 Mini uses the same power level.
Powered by a large 1200mAh capacity internal rechargeable battery, it’s recharged using a Type-C to USB charging cable (not supplied). The charging port is located on the bottom of the Argus G2 Mini which is specified as 5V/1A. To fully charge the Argus G2 Mini will take approximately 80 minutes with the added benefit that the pass-thru function allows you to vape while it’s being charged.
Also on the base of the Argus G2 Mini is a full size clear LED light that surrounds the USB-C port which illuminates in half blue and green when you draw on the pod. This LED light can be switched on or off by drawing on the pod 3 times within 2 seconds.
A small dual colored LED on the front face of the Argus G2 Mini just above the flat base monitors the discharge status of the battery, illuminates when you insert or draw on the pod and displays the safety prompts. These two colors are:
- White LED = 100% to 15% of remaining battery charge
- Red LED = 15% to 0% of remaining battery charge
On the reverse side towards the top of the Argus G2 Mini body is a variable airflow control lever. This airflow slider only protrudes from the casing by less than 1mm so there’s no chance of it getting caught or moving on its own.
Moving the slider to the left closes (restricts) the airflow leaving just 1 very small pin hole so the airflow is not completely shut off. Moving the slider to the right will open the airflow intake where you can select 2 different sized holes to tailor your draw. Airflow closed produces a tight MTL, airflow open provides a restricted DTL draw.
At the top of the Voopoo Argus G2 Mini is the 11mm deep recessed oval opening for the pod to be located which can be fitted either way round. Within the pod recess are two gold plated spring loaded coil contact pins and two rectangular bar magnets that line up with the pod when fitted. There is also a circular silver auto draw sensor next to the central positive coil contact pin and an airflow intake chamber that leads through to the airflow slider lever.
The bottom of the Argus G2 Mini is flat so does stand upright and even though it’s reasonably tall does remain stable.
Voopoo’s branding is limited to the brand name “ARGUS” on the front of the Argus G2 Mini. The word Argus is very discreet as it’s written in the same color as the body casing. Where the body casing is a color graded slightly metallic finish, the “Argus” name is plain and semi-reflective.
The only other markings are inside the pod recess which includes the “CE” logo. Strangely enough there is no mention of the model type (G2 Mini) on the casing, something that we also noticed was missing on the earlier Argus G and Argus G2.
The Argus G2 Mini’s GENE.AI chip set ensures a multitude of safety features are maintained, such as:
- Overtime protection (5 seconds)
- Low battery protection (3.2V)
- Short circuit protection (<0.4 ohms)
- Over temperature protection
- Overcharge protection
- Output overcurrent protection
- Max power protection
There are a total of 8 different colors available in the Argus G2 Mini range, these include:
- Violet Pink
- Spring Green
- Sunset Orange

- Moonlight Grey

- Starry Silver
The color we received to test and review was the Sunset Orange version. Some of the colors are light to dark color graded while the others are a single solid color.
Argus Pod
Voopoo are using these Argus pods across all their range of Argus pod devices for good reason. The performance from them with their icoms code technology together with the longevity of the pods and leakproof design makes these some of the best pods around today.
We’ve tested the 0.4 ohm, 0.7 ohm and 1.2 ohm side fill and top fill pods during our other Voopoo Argus reviews which we will include links to those reviews at the end of this one. These Argus pods come with a 2ml e-liquid capacity for TPD regions and 3ml for other regions.
Worth pointing out that while these Argus pods have integrated coils making them non-replaceable, Voopoo have released (sold separately) a replaceable (empty) coil version of the pod that accepts their ITO range of coils. These ITO coils are very good and negate the need for replacing the pod every time the coil degrades.
I will be putting these ITO coils that fit into the empty Argus pod to the test in the coming months to see how they compare with the integrated coil pods.
The Argus G2 Mini kit comes with just one 0.7 ohm top fill pod. When first using your G2 Mini, make sure you remove the thin plastic film from the base of the pod. The pods come shipped with this protector so they can’t be accidentally fired before e-liquid has been added.
Each of these pods are manufactured out of tinted (smoked) lightweight PCTG material. The tint is darker than the original side-fill pods making it slightly harder to see the level of e-liquid through the pod.
The mouthpiece is a duckbill shape with a 9mm oval opening tapering to a 4mm circular cut out to cater for the MTL/RDL vape style.
Its overall dimensions are:
- 2ml Pod = 32.5mm tall by 25.4mm wide and 13.4mm deep and the weight is 7.25 grams.
- 3ml Pod = 37.5mm tall by 25.4mm wide and 13.4mm deep and the weight is 8.10 grams.
The Argus pod top fill e-liquid port, even though it’s positioned on the side of the pod, doesn’t have to be removed from the Argus G2 Mini in order to fill with e-liquid. It’s concealed behind a black silicone rubber plug that remains visible when the pod is fitted.
To gain access to the fill port, the silicone rubber bung has an indented arrow on it which identifies the end to open and be lifted away to gain access to the filling port. As with most of these bungs, it does help if you have finger nails to get under the flap otherwise it’s a bit tricky.
When the plug is opened, the other end of the silicone rubber flap will remain attached to the pod so it won’t get lost. It can be swivelled to the side to give easier access to the filling hole. This e-liquid fill port is a reasonable size measuring 4.5mm so is just big enough to accept short stubby e-liquid tip bottles.
On the underside of the pod are 2 small diagonally opposed air intake holes either side of the integrated coil and two bar magnets on the base of the pod that locate with the magnets in the pod recess of the Argus G2 Mini. These magnets were previously concealed under the plastic casing on the earlier Argus pods but no longer on these new ones.
Branding on these pods has “Voopoo” and “Argus” screen printed on one side of the pod and the “CE” markings on the other side.
The coil resistance (0.7 ohms) is indented into the silicone rubber fill port bung above the directional arrow. It’s quite hard to clearly see the resistance markings but nevertheless they are there.
Inserting the pod is straight-forward enough, simply place the pod to the Argus G2 Mini body recessed pod opening and it will slide into the recess and be locked and held in place by the magnets.
Removing the pod is carried out by grasping the pod mouthpiece and pulling away from the Argus G2 Mini body/battery. It’s a reasonably secure fit but is quite easy to remove.
When the pod is inserted into the Argus G2 Mini body pod recess, the small LED on the front of the Argus G2 Mini and the LED light on the base will illuminate and then fade out.
Voopoo Argus G2 Mini Functionality
The Voopoo Argus G2 Mini pod kit is very simple and straightforward to use. It doesn’t have any menu options, there are no wattage adjustment controls or fire button, not even an on/off switch. Quite simply all that’s required is ensuring your Argus G2 Mini is charged, you set your desired airflow setting and the pod contains e-liquid.
It’s an auto draw device so firing is achieved by drawing on the pod mouthpiece.
When using the Argus G2 Mini, it automatically senses the coil resistance in the pod and sets the optimum power level (wattage) accordingly. Despite being 30W max output power, the wattage is not adjustable from the optimum set power.
Depending which resistance pod you’re using, different power levels are automatically set. We believe when using the included 0.7 ohm pod, the Argus G2 Mini sets the wattage to 16W. The output power when using a 0.4 ohm or 1.2 ohm Argus pod will be different.
A visual user interface (UI) display on the Argus G2 Mini consist of a small dual color LED on the front of the G2 Mini casing and an LED light on the base. These have slightly different functions but both illuminate when the pod is inserted and when you draw on the device.
The small dual color LED on the front of the Argus G2 Mini casing monitors the status of the remaining battery charge during use and when being charged. The LED illuminates when you draw on the pod and when it’s being charged the LED will cycle on and off:
- White LED: = 100% to 15% of remaining battery charge
- Red LED: = 15% to 0% of remaining battery charge
- Red LED flashing 10 times: = Requires charging
We were unable to find out the visual indication on the LED for the different levels of protection. What we have done is detail what the LED indicated for the conditions we could check:
- Drawing on the pod: – LED illuminates in white or red depending on the remaining battery charge
- Charging: – LED cycles on and off
- Full charge: – LED will turn white and remain illuminated
- Low battery: – LED flashes red 10 times
- Pod inserted: – LED will illuminate in the color of the remaining battery charge
- Overtime protection (5 seconds): – LED will flash red 8 times
The LED light on the base of the Argus G2 Mini is just a visual indication that illuminates as you draw on the pods mouthpiece. It can be switched on or off by drawing on the mouthpiece 3 times within 2 seconds. When you turn the LED light on, the small LED and the LED light will flash 3 times. Turning off the LED light will also make the LED flash 3 times but the LED light will extinguish.
Airflow
The Voopoo Argus G2 Mini incorporates an adjustable airflow control slider on the reverse flat face of the Argus G2 Mini body about 20mm down from the top of the casing.
When the airflow control slider is moved to the right, the airflow is open with 1 small intake hole and a larger intake hole which provides an airy MTL/RDL draw. Moving the airflow control slider to the left, the airflow will be closed off showing an even smaller single air intake hole and provides a tight restrictive MTL draw. You can position the lever anywhere between min and max to tweak your preferred vaping style.
Voopoo Argus G2 Mini Performance
The Argus G2 Mini kit comes with just the one Argus pod, a 0.7 ohm Kanthal mesh top fill pod. We’ve used these resistance pods for around two years now in Voopoo’s other Argus pod devices with very good results.
Voopoo state these Argus Pods are good for 90ml of e-liquid through them. Here at Vaping Hardware we regularly achieve in excess of 300ml with very little signs of a drop in performance. Power (wattage) and the type/flavor of e-liquid used can reduce the life of the pod so do bare this in mind.
As always, when filling the pod for the first time, leave it to stand for 10-15 minutes before you use to allow the e-liquid to fully saturate the wicking material. Because the Argus G2 Mini is not adjustable and vapes at its optimum wattage, I would recommend drawing on the pod a few times before fitting the pod to pull e-liquid through the coil to fully saturate the wicking material.
Because of the fairly small wicking ports and the higher power used in the Argus G2 Mini, I would recommend using a 50/50 ratio e-liquid when using the Argus pods. Throughout the time I’ve been using these pods there has been no signs of any leaks or condensation on the coil contact pins.
Argus 0.7 Ohm Pod
Voopoo specify the recommended wattage range for this pod is between 14W-18W. The auto sensing function on the Argus G2 Mini sets the optimum wattage of this pod to 16W.
Straight off the bat the flavor burst through with thick dense vapor and gave a good throat hit from the 3mg strength e-liquid I was using. The 16W power level provides an intense vape and only requires a short draw to produce very good results.
Adjusting the airflow altered the draw between MTL and RDL with little or no difference in flavor or vapor. I found the airflow midway worked best for me giving a nice RDL draw.
Any Leaks?
Voopoo state that these pods will be leak free for up to 30 days.
Throughout my time using the pod supplied with the Argus G2 Mini kit and using the other Argus pods that came with the Argus P2 and Argus G2 before this, there were no e-liquid leaks or seepage. However, if you’re not using the device, or any other device for that matter, for a day or two and the pod is still connected to the device, e-liquid seepage may occur.
This is not a criticism of the Argus pods in any way, it’s just my experience when using any pod mod.
Airflow
The airflow slider adjustment worked effortlessly and has a good restrictive feel to the slider. Because the lever only protrudes about 1mm from the casing it can be a bit fiddly to adjust. Saying this though, once it’s adjusted in won’t move of its own accord.
Closing the airflow off (single small hole) produced a tight restrictive MTL draw but this does make your vape that bit warmer. Opening the airflow fully (2 different larger holes) gives a RDL draw with a cooler vape. Positioning the airflow slider in the middle gave a nice airy MTL draw.
With the airflow fully open, if you don’t draw hard enough, it can sometimes switch the LED light on or off at the base of the Argus G2 Mini.
Auto Draw
Auto draw was very responsive and worked every time. As expected, with the airflow fully open a stronger draw is required to activate the Argus G2 Mini. Reducing or closing the airflow does increase the sensitivity of the draw.
Performance Summary
The 0.7 ohm pod is very impressive. Flavor and vapor, including the throat hit from it was really good. I’ve found when using the 0.7 ohm Argus pods in other Argus kits, the longevity of the pod far exceeds that specified by Voopoo.
I will say though because the Argus G2 Mini is fixed at 16W when using this pod it wasn’t lasting as long but still exceeded that stated by Voopoo. This could be because I normally have the wattage set to a lower power, or not being able to slowly bed the coil in at a lower wattage first.
Voopoo Argus G2 Mini Battery Performance
The Voopoo Argus G2 Mini is powered by a rechargeable 1200mAh capacity internal battery and takes approximately 80 minutes to fully charge. Voopoo state a full charge can last for 3 days vaping which I think is a little overstated.
On average I was achieving around 2 days of moderate vaping which is still pretty impressive. This time can increase or reduce depending on your vaping style and frequency of your draw.
The Argus G2 Mini indicates the status of the remaining battery charge on the small dual color LED. As you draw on the mouthpiece, full charge displays a white LED and will remain white until the charge decreases to 20% remaining. At this point the LED turns red.
Once the remaining battery charge reduces to zero (low voltage cut-off), the LED will flash red 10 times and you will no longer be able to vape until it’s recharged. I was pleased to see that once the LED turns red you still have a good two to three hours before it flashes and cuts out.
We’ve covered the charging process and what to expect in How do I Charge the Argus G2 Mini section. Fortunately the Argus G2 Mini does have pass-thru so you are able to vape while it’s being charged.
The intensity of the draw remains the same throughout the discharge cycle of the battery. It doesn’t diminish as the battery drains and remained the same up to the point when the battery cut out.
How do I Fill the Argus Pod?
These new Voopoo Argus pods are a top fill design despite being positioned on the side of the pod. In essence it’s called a top fill because the pod doesn’t have to be removed from the Argus G2 Mini in order to fill with e-liquid. It’s purely down to user preference whether you remove the pod or not.
The fill port is located on one side of the pod casing and is concealed behind a black silicon rubber flap. A small arrow, just below the pod resistance is indented on the rubber flap highlighting which end of the rubber stopper lifts away to gain access to the fill port.
This silicone rubber flap is attached to the pod by a small rubber pin so there’s no chance of it getting lost. It can be swivelled side-wards when you’re filling to give a little more free room. Because the fill port opening is pretty wide (4.5mm), it’ll accept those larger e-liquid/shortfill bottle tips.
Pull open the flap and insert your e-liquid bottle tip into the opening. Tilt the pod on its side to aid filling and to get the maximum amount of e-liquid into the pod. Once filled, re-insert the silicon rubber flap making sure the fill port is securely re-seated.
If you’ve removed the pod to fill, when it’s re-inserted, the Argus G2 Mini LED and base LED light will illuminate and slowly fade out.
Quick Tip: If you are filling the pod for the first time, once filled, leave to stand for approx. 10-15 minutes before you start to vape. This will help saturate the wick fully in e-liquid and help prolong the life of the coil/pod.
When and How do I Change the Argus Pod?
Once the integrated coil in the Argus pod becomes unusable after a few weeks/months of use, the pod will need to be discarded and a new pod fitted. Voopoo state these new pods have an increased minimum lifespan of 90ml of e-liquid passing through them. In my experience, the earlier pods and these new top fill pods far exceed this lifespan.
An indication of the coil degrading will show by either a loss of flavor and/or a lack of vapor or in worst case a nasty burnt taste. Equally the coil could fail going open or short circuit. Either way, when this happens discard the pod and fit a new one.
Pull the pod away from the Argus G2 Mini battery/body. Unfortunately if you still have e-liquid in the pod, this will have to be discarded as well as it will have been tainted by the burnt out coil.
When fitting a new pod, follow the procedure for How do I Fill the Pod. As you insert the pod into the Argus G2 Mini body, the small LED on the front and LED light on the base of the Argus G2 Mini will illuminate and slowly fade out to identify the pod has made electrical contact with the Argus G2 Mini contact pins.
How do I Charge the Voopoo Argus G2 Mini?
The Argus G2 Mini has an internal non-replaceable rechargeable 1200mAh capacity battery and is charged using a Type-C to USB charging cable (not supplied in the kit). When the LED on the front of the Argus G2 Mini flashes red 10 times (low voltage cut-off), the Argus G2 Mini will shut down and have to be charged.
Connect your cable into the Type-C USB port on the bottom of the Argus G2 Mini body and the other end into a suitable USB power source. The specified charging circuit of the Argus G2 Mini is 5V/1.0A and will fully charge the Argus G2 Mini in approximately 1hr 20 minutes (80 minutes).
When you plug the Type-C cable into the charging port, the small LED on the Argus G2 Mini will illuminate red and slowly cycle on and off. It will continue to do this for approximately 45 minutes and then change to a cycling on/off white LED.
After a further 35 minutes the white LED will stop cycling and remain static indicating that the Argus G2 Mini is fully charged. This LED will remain illuminated until the USB-C cable is removed.

The Argus G2 Mini has pass-through so you can vape while it’s being charged but this will increase the charge time.
During the charging cycle the Voopoo Argus G2 Mini remains cool to the touch. Despite this, I strongly advise to always charge this, and any other device for that matter, on a non-flammable surface.
As with any vape device, NEVER leave it unattended whilst charging and don’t charge it overnight.
Voopoo Argus G2 Mini Pod Kit Price
The Argus G2 Mini has only very recently been introduced and only a few retailers are showing a price while others are displaying TBC. I’ve seen it as low as £12.99 while another is selling it for £20. Do check around for the best deal you can find.
I would assume as the kit only includes one pod, no charging cable and has limited functionality, it’s possibly going to retail between £10 – £15. If you’re after a no hassle, simple to use but very effective pod kit then you won’t go far wrong with this one.
I’ve used and own most of the Voopoo pod kits, quite a few of them still on a daily rotation and they’ve not let me down so that’s always a positive when looking at what kit to buy.

when i take puff and red light is on for few seconds even battery is full of charge so why device is not working and red light in on when take puff.

The red light will illuminate when you draw on the G2 mini if the remaining charge left in the battery is below 15%. The light should be white if the battery is above 15%. Try charging your G2 mini for 1 hour and check that when you take a puff the light is white.

I’ve been impressed the G2 mini except I am getting maybe ten fills out of the pods before they start leaking, usually through the bottom, but sometimes from the mouthpiece as well. Certainly not getting the thirty fills or one month that Argus advertises. Do you have any advice for what, if anything, I may be doing wrong?

Thanks so much for your great comments about the effort and detail we cover in our reviews. With regards to your question about the pods leaking, we’ve found that some of the pods are more susceptible to leaking than others, especially as they get a little older. I’ve used the Voopoo pods across a lot of their kits for a long time now and in general they provide great results in terms of flavor, vapor and longevity.
Sadly leaking pods happen across the majority of different kits we have and have reviewed once the pods have been used for a few weeks. It seems to happen more when the e-liquid level is low so we always try to top them up once they are half empty. Also always check that the rubber e-liquid stopper is securely fitted as this can cause the problem.
I do make a habit of removing the pod every now and again and cleaning any residue from inside the pod recess and away from the pod base. Also worth pointing out if you don’t use a particular pod kit for a day of so, always remove the pod from the device when its not in use as this seems to cause leaking too.
