Voopoo Vinci 2 Vs Voopoo Vinci X 2 Review / 2 Successful Upgrades from the Original Pod Mods

Richard WinterPod Vapes Leave a Comment

It wasn’t that long ago that Voopoo introduced the world to the game changing Vinci and the Vinci X pod mods. Since their introduction both devices have gained a highly regarded and extremely successful reputation that others have tried to emulate.

Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 Comparrison

Welcome to the upgraded Vinci 2 and the Vinci X 2 pod mods. Not content to rest on their laurels, Voopoo have implemented improved design changes to even greater enhance their foothold as a leading vape manufacturer.

As you will most probably be aware, the major difference between the earlier Vinci and Vinci X was the Vinci incorporated an internal battery while the Vinci X utilized an external 18650 battery. Both these newly design upgrades to the version 2’s follow in this same vein.

Because the Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 are both very similar in design, appearance and operation, we’ve opted to combine the two pod mods into one review and highlight their differences.

Both the pods on the two Vinci devices are identical, upgraded to a maximum of 6.5 ml (2ml TPD EU variant) and accept the complete range of excellent PnP coils. Equally the control and functionality are the same, controlled via the GENE AI 2.0 chip set. The user interface of the Vinci 2’s has also been upgraded to a slightly larger 1.08inch TFT color display.

The Vinci 2 is a 50W pod mod (originally 40W) incorporating a 1500mAh internal battery while the Vinci X 2 is an 80W pod mod (originally 70W) that accepts an external 18650 replaceable battery. Because the Vinci X 2 takes the larger external battery, its physical size is greater in height.

A very welcome upgrade and one that in my opinion was needed is both the Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 now have fully adjustable airflow control, a much improved design upgrade over the original Vinci’s.

Whether your style of vaping is Mouth-To-Lung (MTL) or Direct-To-Lung (DTL), the Vinci 2’s cater for either style with their excellent range of PnP coils.

Lastly, the Voopoo Vinci 2 and the Vinci X 2 are available in 5 vibrant colors: Velvet Blue, Dazzling Line, Neon, Pine Grey and Carbon Fibre.

I would like to thank Lucky at Voopoo for sending me the Voopoo Vinci 2 pod mod kit and the Voopoo Vinci X 2 pod mod kit for the purpose of this review. As always this review is completely unbiased and is my honest opinion based on my findings on the Voopoo Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 pod mod kits. * An error has shown up on the packaging description on the Vinci 2. One of the included coils in the kit is specified on the back of the box as a TM1 Mesh 0.8ohm coil. The description in the manual specifies it as a TM2 Mesh 0.8ohm coil. The coil included in the kit is actually a TM2 Mesh 0.8ohm coil.

The TM1 Mesh coil, although available to purchase separately is actually a 0.6ohm coil.

A mistake that I’m sure will be corrected.

Voopoo Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 Pod Mod Design and Appearance

As we’ve said earlier, the Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 are basically the same design, look and feel with the major difference being the Vinci 2 operates from a 1500mAh internal battery providing a maximum power output of 50W. The Vinci X 2 is slightly larger in length (15mm) and powered by an external 18650 battery giving a maximum power output of 80W.

Vinci 2 and Vinci X2 Charge Ports

Interestingly Voopoo have not changed the capacity of the internal battery on the Vinci 2 from the original version, still remaining at 1500mAh. While they’ve increased the maximum wattage by 10W to 50W, this will have a slightly higher drain on the battery at the higher wattage.

The Voopoo Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 pod mods are constructed out of zinc alloy. Their shape is rectangular in design with slightly curved edges making them feel very nice in the hand and doesn’t look quite as boxy as their predecessors. The finish on both the Vinci’s across all the color range options is matt grey on 3 sides with the back side (opposite the control buttons) providing the different available color options.

Charging the Vinci 2’s is carried out via the upgraded Type-C USB port specified as 5V/2A providing a very fast charge time. The charging port is located on the side of the Vinci 2’s, the Vinci 2 just below the airflow slot and the Vinci X 2 further down the device body towards the bottom of the battery door.

Ultra-fast firing speeds are achieved by the upgraded chip set; the GENE AI 2.0 which also ensures the multitude of safety features are being maintained, such as:

  • Overtime protection
  • Output over current protection
  • Low battery protection
  • Max power protection
  • Over temperature protection
  • Overcharge protection
  • Atomizer short-circuit protection
  • Battery reverse protection
Vinci 2 and Vinci X2 front Panel

While the Vinci X 2 is activated by the firing push button only, the Vinci 2 is both draw activated and push button activated. Switching between these two modes of operation is simply carried out by pressing the fire button 3 times in quick succession.

The control and features of the two Vinci’s are located on the black plastic inlay on one side of the device, with the exception of the airflow slots/control lever and the Type C USB charge port, these being on the side. These controls include the 1.08inch TFT color display, a circular firing button and a rectangular +/ – rocker button.

This +/- rocker button differs between the two Vinci’s; the Vinci 2 has the rocker button laid out horizontally, while the Vinci X 2 has the rocker button positioned vertically. Both are the same size, just the positioning is different.

The fire button and the +/- rocker buttons have a very responsive and positive feel to them with NO rattle from any of the buttons on either device.

One very noticeable difference from the earlier version of the two Vinci’s is the inclusion of a fully adjustable airflow control. Two adjustable airflow slots are incorporated into each side of the mod housing just below where the pod sits. Adjusting the variable airflow is carried out by the slider lever control that protrudes from the right-hand side airflow slot, simply sliding to the left or right to fully open or close.

The friction achieved from the airflow slider control lever is very positive with just the right amount of resistance so when moved to any position it will NOT move freely on its own.

I do have to say the airflow slider is not the most sophisticated I’ve seen. The lever arm sticks out from the side of the device by about 3mm and is attached by some means to the airflow ring. It’s difficult to see how it’s attached but presume it would be either screwed in or riveted.

If the Vinci pod mod is dropped I can imagine this would be the first thing to break off. Once broken, it would make the airflow inoperative.

Vinci 2 and Vinci X2 Top Pin View

At the top of both the Vinci pod mods is a recessed nearly square metal plate with a circular cut-out, fixed slightly above the 2 gold plated spring loaded coil connecting pins. The pod housing has four strong magnets in the base around the PnP coil and when inserted into the mod, the magnets attach to the metal plate and the coil presses against the 2 spring loaded connecting pins.

While the mod pod housing looks square, it’s very slightly elongated meaning the pod will only fit 2 ways round.

As you can see from the included photos, the two Vinci’s I received for this review were the Carbon Fibre on the Vinci X 2 and the Velvet Blue on the Vinci 2. The color change between the designs is limited to the back side of the zinc alloy frame only. The rest of the mod is a matt grey finish.

The Voopoo branding has been kept to a minimum on these devices. One side of the mod (the airflow control lever side) has the words “VINCI” slightly embossed in silver lettering towards the bottom of the base. On the single colored panel are the words “VOOPOO” printed in silver in the center of the panel and the words “Gene” towards the base of the device.

Vinci 2 and Vinci X2 Bottom View

One other difference from the earlier release of the two Vinci’s is the inclusion of a slightly raised inlayed rubber base. These protect both the mod and whatever the mod sits on from scratches, quite a simple idea but one that is very effective.

As the major design difference between the Vinci 2 and the Vinci X 2 is the battery specification, the Vinci 2 has an internal 1500mAh battery and the Vinci X 2 utilizes an external 18650 battery. Insertion and removal of the battery is performed by the bottom located slide and open battery door.

Vinci X2 Battery View

The correct orientation of the battery on the Vinci X 2 did leave me a little puzzled at first as there didn’t appear to be any indication of which way round the battery should be inserted. Usually there would be a red positive “+” inside the battery chamber and a “-“ etched into the negative terminal.

There is no identification on the positive terminal and on further inspection, there is a minus (-) sign in gold leaf just below the negative contact on the battery door. I did try the battery position both ways just to check and the battery must be fitted positive into the battery chamber, negative end towards the battery door. Placing the battery the other way round will NOT power the mod.

The battery door, once closed, is a perfect fit. There are no sharp or protruding edges and there is no battery rattle from either the battery or the battery door.

One thing that surprised me was I didn’t notice any battery venting holes on either the Vinci 2 or Vinci X 2. Arguably, the Vinci X 2 could vent through the openings of the sliding battery door gaps but not the case for the Vinci 2.

Vinci 2 and Vinci X2 Display View

Voopoo have opted to use the same TFT color display interface found on their Drag X Plus and Drag 3 kits that we have previously reviewed. Its display is very clear and clean and does indicate all of the parameters you will need, including:

  • Battery Status
  • Wattage
  • Puff Counter
  • Volts
  • Resistance
  • Puff Duration (seconds)
  • Smart (S) and RBA (R) mode selection

Two different modes of operation (Smart Modes) can be selected. SMART (S) where the wattage is automatically selected depending on the coil being used in the pod/tank and RBA (R) where you can adjust the wattage irrespective of the coil type being used over its full wattage range.

In my opinion, the design and build quality is very impressive. The upgrade to version 2 on both Vinci’s has taken the very successful original pod mods and made them even better. Airflow was a limiting factor on the earlier releases of Vinci’s which to Voopoo’s credit has now been rectified.

I would have liked to have seen a more robust airflow lever being used or maybe a different design but nevertheless, the inclusion of airflow is a welcome addition.

Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 Pod Design and Appearance

Firstly, the pods on both the Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 are identical and totally interchangeable between the two devices. However, they are NOT compatible with the earlier versions of the Vinci’s.

I have to stress this is the Pods that are different and NOT the coils. The full range of PnP coils are compatible with any PnP Pod.

Vinci 2's Pod and Coils

The pods are manufactured as an all in one case out of opaque black lightweight PCTG material. As we’ve come to expect from Voopoo, they’ve again chosen to use a see through tint rather than the normal semi-opaque type that you can’t see through. This makes the level of e-liquid visible even in poor light conditions.

A reasonably wide bore mouthpiece, duckbill in shape, is fully integrated into the pod with the inner chamber that connects to the PnP coil being circular. This gives an opening in the duckbill mouthpiece of about 8mm.

E-liquid capacity is a very impressive 6.5ml (2ml EU variant) and has a pretty large filling port on the side of the pod that’s hidden when inserted into the mod. The fill port opening is concealed by a black silicone rubber flap and when filling is required, is simply unplugged then re-inserted when filling is completed.

This silicone rubber flap sits flush against the side of the pod so it can be inserted into the mod housing. If it’s not fitted correctly it won’t fit into the mod. The rubber flap will only open from one side as the other end is connected to the pod so it doesn’t get misplaced.

Four strong magnets do a very good job of holding the pod in place when fitted to the Vinci 2/Vinci X 2 pod mod. Removing the pod requires a strong grasp of the mouthpiece and pulling away from the mod housing. I did find it easier to slightly lever the pod to one side which releases two of the magnets, making it far easier to pull free.

The pod, being nearly square in shape, will only fit into the Vinci 2/Vinci X 2 two ways round. Simply line up the pod into the recess at the top of the mod, gently push down and the magnets will attach and lock onto the metal plate.

Quick Tip: While viewing the mod from the display side, the pod locates in the position you would vape it. As always, I would opt for the larger 6.5ml pod version simply to negate the need for filling up as frequently.

Voopoo Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 Pod Mod Functionality

The Voopoo Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 are virtually identical in the way they operate and the way the information is displayed on the 1.08inch TFT colored display. The only difference is the Vinci 2 can be configured to operate from push button or auto draw activation.

If you are familiar with the operation and displays on the Drag X Plus, the Drag 3 or the Argus Pro, then you will have no problems with either of the Vinci 2’s. They are all the same.

Both Vinci’s are very straightforward to use and limited to Variable Wattage (VW) only.

All of the set parameters (UI) are shown on the 1.08 inch colored TFT display. These include:

Vinci 2's Screen Display
  • Battery status
  • Wattage display (set by the +/-button)
  • Mode of operation (Smart or RBA)
  • Button or Auto Draw (Vinci 2 only)
  • Lock and unlock of the fire and +/- button.
  • Resistance of the fitted coil
  • Voltage applied to the coil
  • Puff counter
  • Puff (firing) time
  • A graphical display of amount of vaping

The TFT color display is very impressive. Everything you wish to know is clearly displayed and very crisp. The use of color on parts of the display really does make all the parameters stand out.

One observation I found when comparing the Vinci 2’s side by side was the brightness of the displays. The Vinci 2 is slightly darker than the Vinci X 2. To try and quantify this, when firing the device, the displays will illuminate then 10 seconds later they will both dim slightly. The Vinci 2 is initially as bright as the Vinci X 2 after it has dimmed (if that makes sense!)

There are two different screen layouts that you can choose to display, these being the “Iron Theme” or the “Core Theme”. The Iron Theme is the standard portrait display and the Core Theme will alter the display to a landscape (sideways) futuristic image.

Switching between these two user themes is carried out by holding both the +/- rocker buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. The theme options will then be displayed and are selectable. Use the + or – button to select the layout you want. The icon selected will be the one that is highlighted. Once selected, holding the fire button for a few seconds will display that screen layout.

To gain access to the menu options, the controls are carried out by the firing button and the +/- rocker buttons as follows:

  • Fire button pressed – Start vaping
  • – button pressed – Wattage down
  • + button pressed – Wattage up
  • Fire button pressed 5 times – Power on/off
  • Fire button pressed 3 times – Switches between Button/Auto Draw or Both (Vinci 2 only)
  • Fire and – button – Puff counter reset
  • Fire and + button – Device lock/unlocked
  • + and – button – Display theme (Smart/RBA mode and Theme mode)

Wattage is variable from 5W through to 50W (80W Vinci X 2) in 1W increments. Holding either the up or down button, will cycle through the wattage quicker. Increasing the wattage to its maximum (50W Vinci 2/80W Vinci X 2) will display a “Max Power” and coil icon.

Sleep Mode

While using this device, I observed that the Vinci 2’s will go into “Sleep Mode” after approx. 30 minutes of inactivity. When pressing the fire button after this period of time, although illuminating the display, will NOT fire the device. In order to vape, the fire button will have to be pressed again.

Vinci 2's Smart Mode

The two different modes of operation on the Vinci 2’s in terms of S/R are as follows:

S (Smart) Mode

Automatically selects the optimum wattage depending on the coil type that’s fitted and won’t allow you to increase the wattage beyond that specified by the coil. The user can reduce the wattage all the way down to 5W if desired but increasing the wattage in this mode will only go as high as that particular coil’s maximum limit.

This is an ideal mode for new vapers who are not familiar with the correct wattages to adjust for a given coil type. When “S” mode is selected, the display will turn yellow and the ”S” icon will be displayed.

Vinci 2's RBA Mode

One word of warning, the optimum wattage for each coil type, certainly for my vaping style is too high so be warned! See my description and performance of the coils in the PnP Pod Performance section.

R (RBA) Mode

Normal power mode, meaning you can adjust the wattage within the 5W – (50W Vinci 2) or (80W Vinci X 2) range irrespective of the coil that’s fitted. When “R” mode is selected, the display will turn blue and the “R” icon will be displayed.

P (Manual) Mode (Vinci 2 only)

This mode stands for PRESS (fire button activated only). It deactivates the auto-draw, irrespective of whether you’re in “S” or “R” mode.

Auto Mode (Vinci 2 only)

This mode stands for Auto Draw activated only. It deactivates the push button firing, irrespective of whether you’re in “S” or “R” mode.

A&P (Double Ignition) Mode (Vinci 2 only)

Selecting the “A&P” (double ignition) mode allows you the option to use either the firing button or draw activation.

Voopoo Vinci 2’s PnP Pod Performance

3 different PnP coil options are supplied with the Vinci 2 and the Vinci X 2 pod mod kits. The Vinci 2 includes the VM1 and VM6 coils, while the Vinci X 2 includes the VM6 and TM2 coils.

Voopoo Pnp Coils

We’ve reviewed the VM1 and VM6 coils in our Argus Pro 80W Pod Mod Review so won’t go over old ground other than to say the performance from these coils is really impressive.

Each of the coils have the type of coil and the minimum and maximum recommended wattage stamped on the coil casing, together with color coded O-Rings. There is a single colored O-Ring fitted towards the lower section of the coil, just below the wicking ports. Another colored O-Ring is fitted inside the coil casing in the top of the coil.

All coils are the Voopoo PnP push fit type.

PnP – VM1 0.3 ohm Mesh Coil – Red Band

PnP VM1 0.3 ohm Coil

Voopoo state the recommended wattage for the coil is between 32W-40W.

When using the Smart “S” mode, the wattage for this coil is auto set at 35W.

Flavor and vapor are incredible and kicked in at very low wattage (5W). No dry hits were observed over the entire wattage range.

My ideal wattage for this coil was around the 15W – 20W mark with the airflow half open.

PnP – VM6 Mesh Coil (0.15ohm) – Black Band

Voopoo PnP VM6 0.15ohm Coil

Voopoo state the recommended wattage for the coil is between 60W-80W.

When using the Smart “S” mode, the wattage for this coil is auto set at 65W.

Flavor and vapor was just as incredible and kicked in at very low wattage (15W). No dry hits were observed over the entire wattage range.

My ideal wattage for this coil was around the 30W mark with the airflow fully open.

PnP – TM2 Mesh Coil (0.8ohm) – Blue Band

Voopoo PnP TM2 0.8ohm Coil

Voopoo state the recommended wattage for the coil is between 12W-18W.

When using the Smart “S” mode, the wattage for this coil is auto set at 15W.

Flavor and vapor was equally as impressive and kicked in again at very low wattage (5W). No dry hits were observed over the entire wattage range.

My ideal wattage for this coil was around the 8W mark with the airflow slightly open.

The vaping style from this coil was a really nice (tight) Mouth-To-Lung draw. No e-liquid seepage was observed and not even any condensation was found on the coil base.

Voopoo Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 Coil Summary

Performance, flavor and vapor on all 3 of the supplied coils was very impressive. Certainly for my preferred vaping experience I found lowering the wattage below the minimum recommended suited my style of vaping. Because of this reason, I tended to not use the Smart “S” mode as the auto wattage for each coil was higher than I liked to vape at for the particular coil I was using.

Airflow adjustment gave that little extra fine tuning to tailor the response between the different coils.

Top View of PnP Coils

Similar to that I found on the Argus Pro 80W pod mod, the auto draw even though it worked every time, wasn’t quite as responsive in terms of vapor and the responsiveness of drawing if the airflow was wide open. Airflow adjustment worked much better when using the fire button to activate.

No e-liquid seepage was evident other than slight condensation on the base of the pod. As the coils age, the level of e-liquid around the base of the pod did increase but not to the point of it becoming a problem.

Longevity of the coils again is impressive, giving well above average usage before require changing out.

Voopoo Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 Pod Mod Battery Performance

The Voopoo Vinci 2 Pod Mod is powered by an internal 1500mAh battery. Charging time is very impressive, taking approximately 60 minutes to fully charge, due to the 2 amp Type-C USB charger.

As a medium to heavy vaper, I was achieving a good 6 hrs vaping from a fully charged battery. This time is subjective as it does depend on your vaping style, the wattage you’re vaping at and the particular coil you’re using.

The battery display icon will turn red as the Vinci 2 is running out of charge and the message “Check Battery” will be displayed when the Vinci 2 pod mod requires charging.

Now when using the Vinci X 2, because it’s powered via an external 18650 battery, the battery performance is determined by the type, the capacity and the condition of the battery you’re using.

While using the Vinci X 2 I opted to use my Samsung 20S batteries, having a CDR value of 30A with a 2000mAh capacity. This didn’t give me great performance in terms of vaping time between charges but did allow me to vape at high wattages.

Swapping the Samsung 20S battery to a Samsung 30Q, having a 3000mAh rating, did improve my vaping time to 8hrs vaping before I needed to recharge the battery.

Overall, whether I was using the Vinci 2 or the Vinci X 2, the battery performance of both the devices was on par with what I expected.

If you want to try different capacity batteries, you can use our Battery Amp Drain Calculator to determine the most suitable batteries for your vaping requirements. If you’re unsure what batteries are available and best suited for this mod, take a look at our Best 18650 Battery Guide.

How do I Fill the Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 Pods?

Vinci 2's Fill Port Open
Filling the Vinci 2's Pod

As we’ve already mentioned, the pods on the two Vinci 2’s are identical and as such can be interchanged between the two devices. The procedure for filling them is the same irrespective of which device you have.

The design of the pod is such that you’ll have to remove it from the mod body to fill with e-liquid.

The fill port is located on the side of the pod and is concealed behind a black silicon rubber flap. This little silicone bung has the words “Voopoo” etched into it and a side arrow that indicates which end of the bung is to be opened.

Where the side arrow is pointing is a little flap that you can get your fingernail behind. The silicone bung won’t detach completely as it will remain in place by the other end so it doesn’t get misplaced.

Pull open the flap and insert your e-liquid drip tip into the opening. Once filled, re-insert the silicon rubber bung making sure the fill port is sealed and the bung re-seated.

Quick Tip: If you are filling the pod for the first time, drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the wick of the coil first. Push the coil into the pod then fill the pod and leave to stand for approx. 10-15 minutes before you start to vape. This will help saturate the wick fully in e liquid and help prolong the life of your coil.

How do I Change the Coil in the Voopoo Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 Pod?

Changing the coil in the Vinci 2 and the Vinci X 2 pod is really straight forward. All the coil types in the PnP range of coils fit the same.

Vinci 2's Pod With Coil In
Vinci 2's Pod With Coil Half Out

The coil design is a push fit (PnP) connection type with 2 O-Rings towards the top of the coil and a larger O-Ring towards the bottom. There are no seals or O-Rings in the pod itself, sealing is achieved by the O-Rings on the coil. Because the coil has an increased lip size at the bottom of the coil, simply grasp the coil and pull outwards.

Be careful when removing the coil if you have a full pod of e-liquid as spillage will occur. Small amounts of e-liquid left in the pod when removing the coil will remain in the pod.

When re-inserting a new coil, simply push in the coil and then re-fit the pod into the Vinci 2’s body.

As always when using a new coil, make sure you prime the coil first before using. Drop a few drops of e-liquid into the side wicking ports and down into the top of the coil. Once filled, leave the pod to stand for approximately 15 minutes to allow the e-liquid to fully saturate the wick in the coil.

How do I Charge the Voopoo Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 Pod Mod

The Vinci 2, because it’s powered by an internal battery, can only be charged via a Type-C USB charging cable. However, the Vinci X 2 can be charged in one of two ways.

Charging the Vinci 2 and Vinci X2

Because the Vinci X 2 utilizes an external 18650 battery, it can be charged via the supplied Type-C USB charging cable or alternatively, the battery can be removed from the mod and charged using an external battery charger.

If charging via the Type-C USB port, plug the charging cable into the USB port on the Vinci 2’s and connect the other end into a suitable power source (typically 5V2A).

While charging, if the Vinci 2’s are switched on, the battery icon in the top right hand corner of the display will display the scrolling battery icon showing that it’s being charged. Once fully charged, the battery icon will remain static.

If the Vinci 2’s are NOT switched on, while charging, the battery icon will be displayed showing the percentage of charge. When fully charged, the battery percentage will show 100%.

The Vinci 2 and the Vinci X 2 DON’T have ‘Pass-Through’ mode meaning you won’t be able to charge your mod and vape at the same time. It will have to be removed from the power source before it will operate.

As with any vape device, NEVER leave your mod unattended whilst charging.

However, as with any external battery mod, we always recommend using a good reputable external charger to charge your battery rather than using the supplied cable and internal charge circuit. This will help improve the cycle life of your battery and provide a safer charging environment.

Voopoo Vinci 2 and Vinci X2 Plus Coils

There’s no getting away from the fact that Voopoo produce very good pods/mods and the Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 are no exception. The build quality and performance of the Vinci 2’s are up there with the best of them.

The upgrades of the Vinci and Vinci X to version 2 in my opinion is worthwhile, tweaking and improving on two already solid performing pod mod kits.

Increasing the e-liquid capacity, improving on the maximum wattage and including fully adjustable airflow have brought these pod mods to another level.

With regards to their PnP coil range, it really is great to see that they standardize the coils across several of their pod mod kits. The PnP coils without any doubt are unbeatable in terms of performance, flavor and vapor.

Catering for all styles of vaping with their PnP coils is definitely a very clever and very strategic move. Also providing the end user with the same trusted pod mod but with the option of an internal battery version or an external battery version is priceless.
