VOZOL Neon 10000 Disposable Vape Review | A Lightweight, Compact Disposable with Impressive Performance

VOZOL have just released the brand new Neon 10000 disposable vape (their latest release under the Neon series of disposable vape devices) and were kind enough to send us a handful to test-vape and review.

VOZOL have been in the game since early 2019 and have released several extremely popular vape devices, most notably their Gear and/or Star series of disposables. The Neon line is fairly new in comparison, with only the TPD compliant Neon 800 and the new Neon 10000 disposable in the series.

We actually reviewed the Neon 800 earlier this year and had nothing but good things to say about it. It’s a great little disposable, especially if you’re based in the EU and need a device with no more than 2ml of e-juice.

In contrast, the VOZOL Neon 10000 disposable could be considered the larger, longer-lasting big brother to the Neon 800. It packs a 500mAh rechargeable battery, impressive 10,000 puff capacity and 10ml of flavored e-juice.

The VOZOL Neon 10000 also features a transparent design and LED battery indicator so you can see exactly how much e-juice and battery you have left.

It’s auto-draw, like most disposables, which means you just draw on the mouthpiece to take a puff. It’s also available in a range of different nicotine strengths; 0mg, 20mg and 50mg.

But that’s enough preamble, let’s dive into the full VOZOL Neon 10000 disposable review!

What’s in the Box?

Like most disposables, the VOZOL Neon 10000 comes packaged in a thin, cardboard box, color-coded to match the flavor of the disposable inside.

It’s a fairly standard design, with the front of the packaging displaying a picture of the VOZOL Neon 10000 disposable, the flavor name, nicotine strength and usual nicotine warning.

On one side the VOZOL name is prominently displayed, along with the number of puffs, certain product features and VOZOL social media handles.

On the other side you’ll again find a picture of the VOZOL Neon 10000, the flavor name and a QR code you can scan to confirm product authenticity.

I don’t usually scan these QR codes as we’re often sent the disposables we review direct from the manufacturer. However, it’s handy to know the QR code is there, especially if you’re not certain you’ve bought your disposable from a reputable source!

On the reverse of the packaging you’ll find a list of ingredients, more product information and the manufacturer address and contact details. The usual nicotine warnings are also again clearly displayed.

The only thing that isn’t displayed (which will be no surprise if you’ve read our other disposable reviews) is the PG/VG ratio used in the e-juice. It’s not a massive issue, but it would be super handy for those suffering from any form of PG intolerance like I do.

Inside the packaging, the VOZOL Neon 10000 disposable is sealed inside a protective foil wrapper.

All disposables come pre-charged and ready to vape, but before you get stuck in you’ll need to peel off the sticker at the base of the Neon 10000 …

… and lift off the soft, plastic cap covering the mouthpiece of the disposable.

We’ll talk more about this dust-cap in the next section (I’m not a fan) but for now you’re all set and ready to vape.

VOZOL Neon 10000 | Design and Appearance

In terms of design and appearance, the first thing you’ll notice is how impressively compact the VOZOL Neon 10000 is! Especially when you compare it to the majority of the other 10,000 puff disposables on the market!

VOZOL actually state on their website that the Neon 10000 is the smallest 10,000 puff disposable in the world. Whether that’s still accurate at the time of writing, with measurements of 93mm in height, 34mm in width and 23mm in depth, the Neon 10000 is certainly the smallest 10,000 puff disposable we’ve reviewed.

It’s also impressively lightweight, with a total weight of just 48.9g. However, far from feeling flimsy or fragile, the VOZOL Neon 10000 feels surprisingly well-built and robust. I didn’t drop any of the disposables VOZOL sent us, but it feels like it could definitely withstand anything you could throw at it.

It’s made entirely out of polycarbonate (with the exception of the soft, rubber dust-cap) and it’s this combined with the compact and lightweight design that makes the VOZOL Neon 10000 extremely comfortable to hold.

In terms of aesthetics, the Neon 10000 is a cylindrical, oblong shaped disposable with prominent, yet subtle branding and a two-tone, gradient color scheme. The bottom half of the disposable is a solid color (based on whatever flavor you’ve chosen) and the top half is somewhat transparent, allowing you to easily see the remaining e-juice.

You don’t often see transparent disposables and I’m a big fan of this design. It’s sleek, modern and quirky, not to mention super handy for keeping track of your e-juice level!

On the front of the disposable, the brand name “VOZOL” is etched in white lettering, while the reverse of the disposable displays the flavor name and several icons (“CE” and non-recyclable symbols) in the same style font.

The mouthpiece is fixed to the top of the VOZOL Neon 10000 disposable and protrudes approximately 16mm. VOZOL have included a protective, rubber cap that slips over the mouthpiece and attaches to the body of the disposable via a small button-style cutout.

It’s a design VOZOL have used before with the Star 9000 disposable and, while I think it worked well in that case, I’m not so keen on it here. I can’t pinpoint what exactly they’ve done differently, but the cap on the Neon 10000 seems to almost flap about when you’re vaping it.

I found it kept getting in the way or making contact with my face every time I took a puff. Don’t get me wrong, I understand the value of having the cap, especially if you carry your vape in your pocket. But personally, the design and/or placement of the cap felt like a bit of a misstep for me.

I should mention, this didn’t become too much of an issue for me as VOZOL designed the cap to be removeable. I just removed the cap from each new disposable and this solved the problem.

At the base of the VOZOL Neon 10000 you’ll find the USB charging port and a single LED puff indicator.

Charging is simple; just plug a USB Type-C cable into the charging port and plug the other end into a suitable charging outlet.

I was pleased to find VOZOL have included pass-through charging, which means you can continue to vape while the Neon 10000 disposable is plugged in. Even though charging only takes about 45 minutes, it’s still handy to be able to take a puff if you have no other vape with you!

The VOZOL Neon 10000 also features a battery LED indicator/display, which can be found on the right-facing side of the disposable, just above the base.

This display indicates battery level in 1/4 increments and lights up for a few seconds each time you take a puff. It also flashes while you’re charging the disposable until you’re fully charged, at which point the display switches off.

Overall I’m impressed with the design and appearance and I think VOZOL have done a cracking job. I love the direction they’ve gone with in terms of aesthetics and color scheme, as well as the impressively compact and lightweight design.

Personally the protective cap was a ‘hit and a miss’ for me but I’m fully aware there will be those that find it extremely useful!

VOZOL Neon 10000 | Performance

In terms of performance, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the VOZOL Neon 10000 disposable whatsoever! In fact, it exceeded my expectations in almost every way.

The lifespan and battery life are both impressive. While I didn’t count the exact number of puffs each Neon 10000 disposable produced, I got at least 15 full days of moderate – heavy vaping out of each disposable.

If we take a reasonably heavy day of vaping, say 650 puffs over the course of the day, and multiply that by 15 days, we get a puff total of 9,750. That falls nicely within the expected puff-total range and would suggest the advertised 10,000 puff total is pretty accurate.

I’m more than happy with 15 days of heavy vaping out of a single disposable, but keep in mind if you’re vaping less frequently you could get significantly longer out of each VOZOL Neon 10000!

If for example, you only take 200 puffs a day, each disposable could last you as long as 40 days! We’ll talk more about the price later, but that would work out at absolutely incredible value for money!

On top of that, the 500mAh battery also performed better than I’d been expecting. At 500mAh I assumed I’d struggle to get through a full day of vaping before needing to recharge, however I’ve been getting at least a day out of a single charge.

That’s not bad at all for a 500mAh battery and more than enough for me personally. I tend to stop vaping about an hour before bed and the VOZEL Neon 10000 only takes around 45 minutes to charge, so I often just pop it on charge before bed, ready for the next day.

As previously mentioned, VOZOL have also included pass-through charging so you can have the odd cheeky puff while it’s plugged in!

Each of the disposables VOZOL sent us also kicked out surprisingly dense, full-bodied flavor. Not quite as flavorful as your average RDA (rebuildable dripper) but amazingly, not far off it either! I don’t know what VOZOL are doing with their e-juice, but it really pops!

Vapor production is also impressive, with each puff producing a decent plume of the white stuff. If you’re an ex-smoker like I am, you’ll be more than satisfied with the amount of vapor the VOZOL Neon 10000 disposable is capable of chucking out.

The auto-draw function works flawlessly, with a quick ramp-up time and zero ‘phantom’ hits. Poorly made or calibrated disposables will often fail to fire when you take a puff, but I had no such issues with the Neon 10000.

Throat hit, airflow and nicotine delivery are also perfect for me personally. The airflow allows for a tight, restrictive MTL (mouth-to-lung) draw, while the throat hit and nicotine delivery are both extremely satisfying.

The only caveat to the above is the fact I’m vaping the 50mg VOZOL Neon 10000 disposable. I can’t comment on the other nicotine strength versions available, but I can imagine the 0mg option doesn’t have as much of a throat kick.

Overall I’m really impressed with the VOZOL Neon 10000 disposable! With the sole exception of the protective cap (which thankfully, is removeable), I love pretty much everything else about it! The flavor and vapor produced is excellent, the battery life is more than adequate and the total lifespan is fantastic!

All things considered, it’s a pretty varied flavor range! Fruity flavors tend to be the most popular with disposable users so it’s no surprise to see the range weighted heavily in that direction, but it’s great to see a menthol option and even a tobacco blend!

There’s also a ‘clear’ flavor, which I assume is just a flavorless option. Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried it!

VOZOL kindly sent us 8 of their Neon 10000 disposables to try so I’ll do my best to describe each flavor below. One quick disclaimer though – I couldn’t find an official note breakdown online so it’ll very much be my subjective thoughts on each flavor!

Blackberry Storm

The Blackberry Storm flavor tastes like a cocktail of blackcurrant, berries and menthol. Almost like a blackcurrant squash with a splash of blueberry and a couple of ice cubes!

The blackcurrant/blackberry flavor is the prominent note in this one, but the slight icy kick on the inhale really adds a little something extra.

It’s not my favorite in the range, but it’s a flavor I could quite happily vape all day.

Rainbow Sour

The Rainbow Sour flavor tastes exactly like the sour version of the popular ‘taste the rainbow’ candy in the UK!

It’s a mix of citrus and tropical fruity notes, with an absolutely mouth-watering sour kick.

I really enjoyed this flavor, but it’s not something I could vape all day as I don’t think my taste buds could handle it!

Strawberry Watermelon

The Strawberry Watermelon flavor is a blend of deliciously sweet strawberry and ripe, juicy watermelon.

It’s more of a candy-type flavor rather than natural/authentic tasting, although that’s not a bad thing in this case at all!

It’s one of my favorites in the range and one I actually found hard to put down!

Blue Razz Ice

The Blue Razz Ice flavor is a mix of sharp, tart blueberries and sweet, juicy raspberries.

It’s an extremely popular flavor among disposables manufacturers and VOZOL have done a great job with their interpretation.

It’s another great flavor and easily an all-day vape for me!

Pink Bomb

This is a really difficult flavor to pin down!

I think it’s a pink grapefruit flavor with a slight menthol kick on the inhale, but regardless of the flavor notes it’s absolutely delicious!

I’d go as far to say this was actually my favorite flavor!

Mixed Berries

The Mixed Berries flavor tastes exactly like the name suggests; it’s a delicious blend of sweet, ripe berries.

Again this is a popular flavor amongst disposable users, but VOZOL’s offering has a mouth-watering, candy-style flavor note that lingers on your tongue.

This was another one I found difficult to put down!

Miami Mint

The Miami Mint flavor was probably my least favorite of the flavor range as I’m not really a fan of the single-note flavors.

It’s a very sweet menthol flavored e-juice, a little too sweet for me personally to be honest.

However, it does make a great choice if you’re looking for a palette cleanser or a break from the heavier, candy-like flavors.

Frozen Strawberry Kiwi

The Frozen Strawberry Kiwi flavor is a blend of deliciously sweet strawberry, sharp tangy kiwi and a blast of ice cold menthol.

My 2nd favorite flavor of the 8 VOZOL sent us, this is a perfect all-day vape in the warmer weather.

I was genuinely disappointed when this flavor ran out and I’ll definitely be adding this to my cart in the near future!

Overall, the flavor range is absolutely spot on! I’d love to try the tobacco blend and I’m curious about the Clear flavor option, but the flavors VOZOL sent us were all well-blended, dense and bursting with flavor!

VOZOL Neon 10000 | Price

The VOZOL Neon 10000 doesn’t seem to be widely available to purchase yet, which is not surprising as it’s a brand new disposable.

However, I did find one online retailer selling the Neon 10000 for $18.99, which is slightly more expensive than I’d been hoping it would retail for.

Yes, it’s a great disposable with a fantastic design and heaps to offer in terms of performance, but with a 10,000 total puff capacity I’d expect to see it retailing for somewhere in the region of $12 – $15.

Hopefully, with a wider release and more retailers stocking the Neon 10000, the price will drop into the above range.

Having said that, even at $18.99 it’s still far cheaper than smoking! Especially if you’re taking less than 200 puffs a day, in which case you’d only need to buy a single VOZOL Neon 10000 per month!

VOZOL Neon 10000 | Verdict

Despite my issues with the current price (which I’m hopeful will come down) and the protective cap placement, I actually really enjoyed my time testing the VOZOL Neon 10000 disposable!

The flavors, vapor production, battery life and overall lifespan are all absolutely fantastic and far exceeded my expectations. Top that off with a modern, quirky (and useful!) design, a full range of available nicotine strengths and a large and varied flavor range, and you’ve got yourself an amazing disposable!

Hats off to VOZOL for another amazing little disposable!
